A World in White

I'm looking through glass

At what I've dreamt to be

I listen to the noises of a world in white

A world in white that is without me.

 

I'm held in the world outside of the glass

My surrounding is the dark sky of the night

The stars outside of the world ring with truth

But, oh god, why can't they ring with lies?
 

I guess I'll just keep looking through glass

Sitting all alone inside of this lonesome scene

And as much as the stars here shine for me

I guess it's just different from what I've seen.

 

 

 

So, yeahh, thought it'd be good to post a poem on here, tell me what you think!

Also, constructive criticism is always welcome!  I know it's a bit short, but I think it works as a 3 stanza poem
