You should add a "I liked it." or something choice on the poll, so that way everyone can have a pick

As for me, I don't like that or anything like it. I don't see how someone could enjoy watching their favorite ponies that they love so much being violently and gruesomely ripped apart like that

It's okay. I have to agree who wants to see their favorite ponies torn up like that but that being said people pay to see their favorite actors torn apart all the time. Lots of people like being scared. On the other hand some of these aren't all that well written, cupcakes is just slash and go and many others like silent hill Ponyville are just a collaboration of other grimdark fics.

It's mildly amusing to watch once. The shock factor of ponies killing each other wears out pretty fast.

To be honest, I've read all the horror MLP fics: Cupcakes, Rainbow Factory, Sweet Apple Massacre, etc.

They were really not worth my time- not scary, not gross, not something to make me horrified. Most were poorly written, which was the scariest thing about them.

That kinda of thing is what made me get into this fandom, and watch the show. I wanted to know why Pinkie was depicted as batshit crazy lol.

As for MLP horror? I guess I'd be okay with it, I watched so much crazy and scary stuff, so I wouldn't be horrified.

I like it, purely for it's contrast against the series. Sure enough you can get the same thing with less gratuitous violence but c'mon, the point of gratuitous violence is to be gratuitous. Gore porn, as they say.

 

Sometimes, a little shock value is all it takes to make something entertaining regardless of the quality of writing or design.

That's another thing. They shed some light on the characters regardless of whether you liked it or were grossed out by it or what-have-you. You think about the characters. How you think of them after reading something like Cupcakes and how they are within the show.

 

I've always said that fanworks can really improve on the canon material and this sort of thing just bolsters that opinion.

I get in the fandom because of the rainbow factory... maybe that's why nothing realy surprise me anymore...

 

Maybe that's why the stories themselve aren't scary (maybe a little bit gross), but the people that wrote them, on the other hand...

 

I must be crazy (which is likely), but I want more of it!

I personally enjoyed Cupcakes. I enjoy gore in general...

I think one of the best parts about it (like any other part of the Creepypasta area related to a series) are some of the images. Like for example this one. No gore, no blood, but it can still creep you out.

I've put together my opinion on these "creepypastas"

I like to look into creepypastas only for the "detective" part, for instance I tried to talk to BEN through Cleverbot.

 

Most Creepypastas I am shocked for a little while and then I break them down like this and it helps me remember its only fiction and written by some guy out there

Not something I go for generally, but if a writer I like puts out a horror fic then maybe I'll read it
