"Ah I see what you're doing." Leon said. "Now's your chance, Confusion!" Leon commands Metang. The steel Pokemon's eyes glow blue as does Rotom. Metang then uses it's psychic powers to lift Rotom into the air and throw it across the room, busting the washing machine but letting Rotom hide once more. "Oh great now where could it be?" Leon said as a fan started turning on and off.

Renee, utterly bemused, looked around the room wildly. "It was in a washing machine, right? Maybe it's in something else now."

 

She had no idea how Rotom worked. At first, she thought the pokemon clearly WAS the washing machine. Evidently not.

 

 

 

Taylor continued to speed back towards Silph, Co. He didn't realize just how far he'd pursued Mason through the city, as fast as he'd gone. He was nearly back at the building when he decided to cut through a narrow alleyway. There were a couple of shady-looking guys discussing in low tones there, but ignoring them, he slipped out of the alley on the other end, to continue north towards Silph.

 

Damn, this city was huge.

Duosion was just fast enough to intercept all of the attacks used by the Combee. Thankfully, Light Screen was still in effect, and Duosion was already fairly good at taking hits, meaning the pokemon was still left standing. "Excellent work, Duosion." Comet said, in a clearly exhausted voice. Duosion nodded, knowing that the flattery was given for an obvious reason.

 

Gah! What are we supposed to do? Duosion's exhausted. Purrloin's exhausted. I can't use Serperior or Heracross, and there's way too many Combee for just two pokemon to handle. Think, Comet, think! Comet thought to herself, rubbing her head. There just has to be a way to take out all the Combee at once, or something... 

 

And that's when it dawned on her. Vespiquen, in the middle of the swarm of Combee, was preparing an attack, which seemed to be Power Gem. Though the pokemon was not ready to actually fire the attack just yet, it was obvious that Power Gem was indeed being used, judging by the orbs of purple light surrounding Vespiquen. If there was a single, solitary hope for all the Combee to be knocked out efficiently, that was it. "Well... here goes nothing I guess... Duosion! Use Psyshock on that Power Gem!" Duosion nodded, and did so. As the two attacks collided, it not only created a series of small explosions from two attacks colliding, but also a sudden, blinding purple light.

 

Jared shielded his eyes from the brightness of the blast, unanble to really gauge the situation. Comet was still leaning heavily on his shoulder. Reclaiming the captured Combee - females being rare, and this one being in good, healthy condition (especially compared to Heracross), Jared was confident enough in his catch to try and get away now. He picked Comet up in his arms, just in case they needed to run. She didn't look like she'd be able to.

 

His Purrloin was dashing hither and thither in the brawl of a fight. It had snuck behind Vespiquen, and lunged at it with a powerful Night Slash just as Duosion had clashed with it over its Power Gem.

Duosion didn't look to be in great shape. She was panting, and looked a bit flushed. Though anyone who didn't spend a lot of time looking at pokemon who were basically green blobs wouldn't notice, Comet instantly did. "Duosion! Don't push yourself too hard. Purrloin's our only hope if you fa-" Before Comet could finish her sentence, she was picked up by Jared. Such a move was probably a good call on his part, as the girl could barely walk. But at the same time, it was driving her mad. It wasn't like she needed the help. In fact, she'd probably be fine on her own, right? Comet blushed, and Duosion glanced back at the duo, immediately rolling her eyes. How could her trainer be so incompetent?

Looking around, Cedric didn't see much of worth. There were some Metapod hanging from a tree along with a couple Caterpie and a Butterfree. Further down he could see a boy with a Skrelp fighting a Skorupi.

Both of Skrelp's attack hit, knocking the poor Skorupi back a foot or two. It looked prime for capture in this weakened state.

"Uh-hmm." Henry nodded. "Followers of the Eon duo I think. It'll be better to take them out while they're by themselves so we better hurry." he says, not noticing Taylor speed by.

"Do not fret Mason" the voice says. "This is but a dream. I shall let you on your way but remember my words the next time you speak with Darkrai." the island then started to fade away as Mason woke up in his hotel room. The feather he saw in the dream was on the desk next to his bed.

Indigo's blast of air sent the girl back, knocking her into the stand with the Blue Orb which rolled to the other side of the room. Meanwhile her Vaporeon fainted, not being able to take both the Discharge and the Acrobatics. "Hmph. I see it's come to this." the girl says as she retrieves Vaporeon into it's Pokeball. She then takes out a Dive Ball she was wearing around her neck. She presses the button in the middle, making it grow, and quietly says "Get em' Gyarados." Soon the beast of a Pokemon entered the room, nearly breaking through the ceiling. "RAOAWW!" it roared before using Aqua Tail which knocked Indigo, Sekashi, and their Pokemon against the wall giving the girl time to make a run for the Blue Orb.

Metang makes a confused look before jumping in front of Renee and crossing it's arms into an X making it's body more metallic. Leon, meanwhile, uses his powers to create a shield around himself. "Huh. Didn't know I could do that."

Comet then noticed the shape the Vespiquen was in, and looked up at Jared. "Sooo... You gonna catch it?" She asked. Heracross was a pokemon much more suited for Comet, when compared to the Vespiquen. Vespiquen seemed to rely on her horde of Combee to do near anything, so the trainer wasn't sure how useful it'd actually be. However, Jared still wanted to win. Vespiquen seemed rare enough to be a winning pokemon.

Sekashi grunted "Lucy make sure she doesn't get to that blue orb Eris use ominous wind!" she commanded Luxray started running towards the Blue orb ready to use discharge at the moments notice, Flygon used ominous wind on the Gyarados "uh how do i use my powers properly" Sekashi thought.

Is that Lazybones? Looks like Revvy's having more luck than I am. Although the Joltik could be a good catch. Cedric looked around at the very common Johto Pokemon and decided to challenge himself a little and fight the Butterfree. "Alright Cloud use Stun Spore, and follow it up with a Fairy Wind." The Whimsicott immediately took action,  shooting several small, yellow, pollen like balls and kicking up a pink breeze.

 

Revvy had to practically hold Skrelp back from attacking the poor thing and longer and quickly threw a Sport Ball before the Water Pulse that the angry Skrelp had fired could hit the Skorupi. Ah great now I have to decide if I want to keep this weak Skorupi and lose, but eventually have a strong Pokemon that could win me things, or use the fairly healthy Weedle and win something now and have an okay Pokemon later on... 

 

Both boys were still seemingly oblivious to the events outside of their own battles.

Bringing out her second pokeball, Indigo clicked the middle button and then threwit high in the air. A flash of light cam out of the pokeball and Fletchineder appeared. "Flame! Go after the blue orb with Lucy!" Indigo then told Emolga to use Shockwave on Gyarados. Emolga nodded and fired a wave of electricity at Gyarados and then she used that that wave to come in close and use Acrobatics again. Shaking her hands, Indigo began slice and chop at the air in front of her, causing slices of air to careen towards the trainer running for the blue orb.

Mason sat upright abruptly, clutching the sheets underneath him as he glances around the hotel room.  It was all exactly as it had been - his pokemon were both still out and now looking at him with worry, his coat was still thrown over the chair, his scarf was still piled on the desk...  With the feather from his dream.

 

What the...  What was that dream?  And how did the feather get here!?  Who was that voice!?  Mason blinks as he reaches over to pick up the crescent shaped feather, questions bouncing around his head with no answers to be found.  Taking a deep breath to try and calm his nerves, Mason slowly stands up from the bed.  Something told him he wasn't going to be getting back to sleep anytime soon.

 

Glancing at his pokemon, Mason sighs again before walking over to his trench coat and throwing it back on.  He tucks the glowing feather into one of the inner pockets of the coat, so he wouldn't lose it, then pulls out his pokemon's balls to recall them.  Lastly he makes sure to carefully wrap his scarf back around his neck and the lower half of his face, pausing long enough to look in the mirror to make sure that his bruise was hidden before walking out of his room.

 

He had time to kill, and sitting in the quiet hotel room wasn't going to help his mental state.  Mason figured he could walk through the streets of the city for a little while - hopefully the sounds of Saffron would help drown out his thoughts.  He doubted he would find the answers to any of his questions this way, but at least he wouldn't just be sitting and waiting for the twins.

Renee crouched behind Metang, clearly uncomfortable and scared at the idea that this pokemon had just tried to kill her. But Leon's Metang had saved her. That was good, right? Maybe he really did care.

 

A little pink in the cheeks, Renee stood back up from behind Metang, and threw a second Pokeball. Out came a tiny little Snorunt. "Use Icy Wind!" Cascade commanded. Snorunt began to blow a steady stream of frozen air at the Rotom, hoping to slow or freeze Rotom's fan rotors, to render its air slice attack less effective.

 

Taylor left the alley, with one look back at the duo down there. He had a bad feeling about them, and he could have sworn he'd heard "Eon Duo". Suddenly nervous for reasons he really couldn't explain, he fled down the road. Silph Co. was in sight.

He would have to contact Victini, naturally, though. He wasn't sure if his hunch was correct. Besides, he wasn't really sure how contacting Victini worked. Did he have to get alone first?

 

Maybe he could just do it in his head.

 

Victini, I think I've got a chance here. Does 'winning the girl' count as a victory in your book? And if so, would it be a challenge you recommend me going for? Or what?

"Then what are we waiting for?" Both Cain's eyes and smile revealed that he was ready for a kill. Perhaps even more compelling was the promise of more lifeforce, was this becoming a vampiric need? He was too focused to think such things. Turning around, Cain asked his new ally "You said the closest one was in Silph Co, my knowledge of this region is basic at best, mind leading the way?"

 

He didn't pay much attention to Taylor as he fled to the building, little knowing that this was to be one of his targets. "I hope you brought enough lifeforce, we both know how reluctant Disciples are to receive their fate."

Gyarados flinches after being hit by Emolga's attacks but soon recovers and uses Dragon Rage on the flying squirrel Pokemon as well as Flygon. Meanwhile the girl dashes towards the Blue Orb, doing her best to dodge Indigo's attacks. However on attack hits the girl's leg making her trip right in front of the orb. "Oof." she says as she falls. "I've had just about enough of you two!" the girl angrily sends a huge blast of water at both Flame and Lucy, giving her time to reach for the Blue Orb. "Hah, got it." she says. For a moment after touching the orb she starts to glow and strange markings appear all over her though the girl doesn't seem to notice. "Gyarados, we're leaving!" she says to her Pokemon. Gyarados blows a hole in the ceiling with Hyper Beam as the girl jumps on the colossal water type. "Till next time." the girl mocks as she flies away on Gyarados.

Renee crouched behind Metang, clearly uncomfortable and scared at the idea that this pokemon had just tried to kill her. But Leon's Metang had saved her. That was good, right? Maybe he really did care.   A little pink in the cheeks, Renee stood back up from behind Metang, and threw a second Pokeball. Out came a tiny little Snorunt. "Use Icy Wind!" Cascade commanded. Rotom frowned as it's rotors became frozen. It quickly leaves the fan and heads for an old lawnmower across the room. "Don't let it get away!" Leon says to Metang. Following his trainers orders, Metang uses Confusion to hold the Pokemon in place. "Alright Renee, tell your Pokemon to freeze it and I'll get ready to catch it." Leon says to Renee as he gets a Pokeball out.

"No problem, Murkrow will lead the way right?" Henry says. Murkrow nods and starts flying off in the direction of the Silph Co. building.

 

 

 

Victini, I think I've got a chance here. Does 'winning the girl' count as a victory in your book? And if so, would it be a challenge you recommend me going for? Or what?

"Hm?" Victini says to Jared telepathically. "Do whatever ya want. If you think you can win this girl's heart then by all mean do it. A win is still a win right?"

"Hey! Give that back!" Indigo ran up to Gyarados but before she could get there, the trainer and her Gyarados had already left with the blue orb. "Betty, Flame, return." Indigo sadly said. Indigo was, in a way, glad that Gyarados had left when it did as Emolga and Flame were extremely close to fainting. "Come on Sekashi. We need to get to a Pokemon Center. I think the closes one is in Ecruteak City." Indigo walked towards the door and proceeded to head down, shoes squelching all the while.

Crap. Better make this quick. Cedric made Cloud use one last weak Fairy Wind to hopefully secure the capture, and threw a Sport Ball before the Butterfree could react. Alright if I get this thing I'll need to decided between it and the Joltik... I've always liked Butterfrees but Joltiks are new... Ohhh why did I have to find both of them!?

 

Revvy picked up the ball with the Skorupi and took a look at the ball with the Weedle. Hmmm... Sorry Kyurem. The Skorupi will be better in the long run. But hey I still might have a chance at fourth or something. Shed Shells are pretty decent. And either way I've grabbed myself a new Pokemon. Hopefully that's good enough for now...

Sekashi sighed and returned Flygon and Luxray to their pokeballs and she dashed after Indigo "i'l be honest i have never been hit by a pokemon attack other than spark dam it hurts also didn't know Gyaradoses can fly like that" Sekashi looked pretty pissed and dissapointed. "Man i wished we could chase after her but Flygon was exhausted and close fainting the next time i see her she's not getting away i just hope that blue orb doesn't cause too massive of a chaos".

"I hope you're right. Anyway, let's get out of here." They found their way out and started to move towards Ecruteak City which just happened to be right over the horizon. "Did you use Zekrom's powers at all when we were fighting her?" Indigo asked Sekashi. Her hair was still sopping wet but it didn't really matter. Stopping for a moment, she twirled on the spot multiple times until she felt her hair dry out. Stopping her spinning, she began to dizzily walk back to Sekashi. "I think I'll need help getting back to the Pokemon Center. I can barely walk straight after doing that."

Sekashi chuckled "of course i'l help you and as for using Zekroms powers eh well i'm a little out of practice well not little but really out of practice and or i'm being stupid anyways that was rather interesting wasn't it?" Sekashi asked as the two made their way to Ecruteak City.

Indigo lazily nodded her head. her arm was draped around Sekashi's shoulders in an attempt to keep herself upright. "yeah, it was interesting. It was fun to use my powers on purpose other than by accident." Indigo chuckled. She could see Ecruteak getting closer but she didn't say anything as Sekashi may not have seen it yet/

Sekashi remained silent until they reached Ecruteak City "hey were here hopefully you haven't fallen asleep yet Indigo" Sekashi said jokingly as the two walked towards the pokemon center while also admiring the sorroundings (hope that made sense) "i haven't been to Ecruteak City for a long while".

"hmm? Did you say something?" Indigo yawned as they entered the Pokemon Center. "Pokemon first. Pokemon need to be patched up first." Indigo, with Sekashi's help, walked over to Nurse Joy and handed her both the pokeballs. "Please heal them Nurse Joy. And maybe something to help me as ... well ...:" Indigo trailed off as she fell asleep properly on Sekashi's shoulder.

 

(Welp. Now both my characters are out cold. So long everybody! Nah, just kidding. I'll impatiently wait until either one of my characters wake up.)

Sekashi also handed her pokemon to nurse joy and sighed when Indigo fell asleep Sekashi walked towards the seats and layed Indigo besides her while she waits for nurse joy to return with their pokemon and falling asleep shortly after.

Without hesitation, Bisharp and Cain followed the Pokemon, at a much slower speed this time though, as not to attract any attention. "Bisharp,we won't attack unless we have to, Honedge will Shadow Sneak once we find who we're looking for and well...You know the rest." He tried to keep his cool as much as possible, but could not help in clenching his fist once again in anticipation.

And Comet didn't particularly want to have it looked at, though she did want to heal up her Duosion and Heracross, provided that wasn't done at the end of the contest. Oh, and she needed to clean up too.

 

When the two arrived in the centre, Comet noticed two all-too-familiar trainers also there. One of which was the follower of Kyurem. For some reason, she hadn't noticed them before, or forgot she had. Huh... What would a follower of Kyurem be doing here? I mean... You can only keep one pokemon. If he wants to hoard stuff, wouldn't it make sense to just move on? ...What a weird person.

Revvy made it to the center of the park and noticed a certain Reshiram follower there. She gave him an odd look, so he returned with his signature cocky grin. 

 

Cedric got to the center as well, noticing Revvy as well as two of the people from route 35. He gave the a short smile before standing next to Revvy.
