Thank you very much for feedback on my previous threads! I'll try to follow them in my future works, but as I said this one was already done earlier, so they've still got a lot of "starting artist problems".

 

Anyway :D

If Spike really have strong feelings about Rarity, I'm sure, for him there is only one princess in Equestria :)

 

P.S. But after the last episode (just watched it yesterday), does he have any chances at all? :D

Show wise I believe he'd pull through, else where.... so-so. Personally as a spike personality I'd love for him to get rare cuz that'd kinda be a sign for me (I have no clue where that kinda crep comes from but it's the way I feel for whatever slagging reason) but as a fanfiction writer I kinda would love spike to fail to my oc's, though I'd make it so that there's no hard feelings by hooking spike up with another somepony. Decent job on the piece.The pudginess kinda gives it an old cartoony style feel, like nostalgia.

Ahhh, there really isn't enough Sparity around these days.

Getting used to pony anatomy takes a while (not to mentions Spike's), the important parts (body language and expressions) are very well done.

I like the colouring as well, what do you use?

I'm not sure if they will end up together in the show, since it would be unusual to say the least for a kid's show. What I'm hoping for is that once the show has ended, we'll get some (canon) comics a la Gargoyles or Darkwing Duck. These things can afford to be a bit more risque, so we'll hopefully get these two ending up together.

I used one of the standard brushes from Sketch Club. It's an app for iPhone. It's kinda silly to seriously draw on phone :) , but I've got a lack of time this days, so I draw where I can and for that purpose it's a great tool.

 

Yeah, I like the idea. I think IDW comics are great! And if they will make another comic series after the show, it would be perfect!

I think spike understands that he'll never actually be in a relationship with rarity but he still feels giddy around her so he continues to do her bidding. He's like any other guy with a crush. the art's not bad but your proportions are off

For a "starting artist" this is pretty good. There isn't any glaring flaw in proportions at first glance, which is more then I could say about my own work when I started drawing. However I think their expressions are a little basic and could use some work. The eyes are where the life of a drawn subject comes from, so you should try to make them convey as much emotion as you can.

Well, I'm not saying that it's my very first works :) They, by the way, really were an one glaring flaw :D But I'm still very very newbie at drawing.

That is so adorable! Rarity looks positively tickled to receive the crown of her dreams. (She said it was everypony's dream to someday wear a crown in the S4 premiere...I suppose it means it's her dream especially. :D)

I guess, writers and artists will use common cartoon practice then: they'll have two children. One is a dragon boy, who is fabulous by nature. And the second is a filly, who likes to eat gems and read comics. Or vice versa. Something like that  :P
