Gummy comparisons?

I forgot to put this topic up, better late than never.

 

 

 

^^drew this around September or something. So only a few months ago.

 

 

 

^^drew this about a week ago. It was an early birthday doodle present to my sister since she's obsessed with Gummy. I don't exactly have money to buy her anything, so I settled on drawing her something. I'll eventually get some acrylics and a canvas and paint this beach with Gummy on a beach ball and other junk so I didn't bother coloring the drawing.

I will say, first and foremost, that I adore seeing comparitive pieces such as these as it gives a look into how much an artist has grown and improved over time.  And the best gifts that can ever be given are those that are made yourself and are from the heart, which I am sure that your sister was very pleased with this cute drawing here.

 

Though there is nothing wrong with the first drawing by any stretch, this newest drawing is simply more appealing to look at.  It simply has a bit more liveliness to it, as opposed to the first one that seems rather static in comparison and is in a pose that has been seen quite frequently.  The second picture also feels a bit more unique as far as style; it may be a minute difference but it shows to me and gives it the piece a mor personalized touch from you.

 

Overall, both of these pictures are good but it is clear to see the progress you have made over these few months, as the same can be said with all the other works that you have posted over time.  What more can I say but nice work!
