Ex-best-friends

Since most of my childhood is blocked from my memory for whatever reason, I'll just talk about my best friend from high school.

She was a nice person and we kept in contact with each other over facebook when I moved away from where I lived in California at the time.  Sometimes, I'd send her some snacks from where ever I was living that were only region bound, stuff she probably wasn't going to find where she was living.  Though after I came out as trans, she unfriended me and hasn't spoken to me since, kinda sucks but she was slowly turning into someone I had hoped she wouldn't.  I miss her sometimes and wonder what happened to her baby since she was worried about losing her kid to CPS since she didn't have the money to ensure her child a safe environment or something idk, I'm kinda fuzzy on the details right now.

We dated and it went badly. Instead of having the guts to approach me and us end things like adults they acted very childish.

However in most cases, any ex friends, are really just people who I’ve lost contact with over time. Nothing that ended badly or anything like that. Lives got busy and lost contact.

I had a best friend once, yes today I really have no idea why were friends actually. Was one of those things, we had been childhood friends but he was depressed so was I. Therefore we kind of just stopped talking to each other. Now it's been over ten years since we spoke. We had been friends for ten years.

A few years ago I had to move away from my home to live in another state because my dad took a job and I had to leave everything I knew behind, including my best friend since childhood. She was closer to me than anyone and it was like being stabbed in the heart when I had to leave her behind. Since then I met new friends and extended family which are closer to me than I could have ever expected, especially considering how dark I was after the initial ordeal. So there was a silver lining to it all, even though I'll always miss my old friend. Losing a friend is painful but not always as permanent as it seems. The world isn't that big and people can drift together again as well as apart.

Well the only one I can consider being a best friend ended with a petty argument over something like "I'm in football, you should be too" or "why don't you go to camp?" Or something dumb like that and then he subsequently pelted me with rocks, because I didn't agree with him.

He later did the same to everyone else, but in different ways, such as breaking their pencils(mechanical and normal), pens, ripping their notebooks in half, etc and found another guy who matched up with...that and it was a challenge to avoid them in school, but luckily I don't remember having either in a class after the first incident.

After that I kinda kept everyone at arms length...
