Backstory:

Violet Dash was orphaned at the age of 5 when her parents met a most gruesome end.  She had to spend the next year working every hour of the week.  But then she met Rainbow Dash herself, who took her on as an apprentice.  Within two months, she was able to pull off two consecutive purple Sonic Rainbooms.  She went on to become a Wonderbolt and even the Element of Loyalty!
