Okay--so I was cruising facebook, and someone who knows me posted this video to my wall.

And. I just couldn't stop finding them. Babymetal's awesome. It's this crazy mix between j-pop and heavy metal. I clearly am obsessed now--but, clearly, if you aren't, you have something wrong with you. 

But, to be actually serious--watch the videos they have, they're crazy interesting. But--my favorite video by them is Line!

I can't help but feel a tad smug because everyone's seems to only just be discovering them due to the release of their new album, and I've been listening to their stuff for quite a long time. :comeatus:

 

I think this is the first time in ever that the Metal community doesn't seem to give a shit about the fact that a band is completely mannufactured and totally fake, and are just embrassing them because they sound fricking great.

I am both intrigued, and disturbed at the notion of idol metal; not really. This is actually quite enjoyable if you're able to wrap your head around the idea, and the fact that it caught on so quickly is gotta be a testament to something.

 

Can't say I'm a fan, but I'll be damned if It's not catchy...
