Role play tags

I was looking for a RP to play on and a lot of them had zombies, vampires, etc. I think it would be a good idea to and a tag to show if it has mature content or not.

As Shift said, any material that would be considered R-rated is not allowed here. However, as you have to be at least 13 years old to join this site, we do allow PG-13 content here. This would include roleplays including horror and violence, as long as it did not become excessive, explicit, obscene, or otherwise gratuitous. Please see this FAQ entry for more information.

 

Since what people consider mature content is largely subjective (aside from that which is clearly mature, which is not allowed here) I don't know how much use a mature content prefix would be in Roleplay World. However, one possibility would be to add genre prefixes, similar to ones found in the Fan Fiction forum section. This could help people avoid content that they would prefer not to see. For example, if you would not want to read roleplays involving things such as zombies and vampires, if a genre prefix system were in place there you could see which roleplays were in the horror genre without having to read them.
