books Ideas for a graphic novel to read!

I spent all this afternoon trawling through the comic book shops of London

(Forbidden Planet, Orbital comics etc)

and I couldn't find anything that took my fancy! So guys and gals, got any recommendations?

I don't know a whole lot of comics but in the shop I went to last time they had cheap first issues, like a dollar each. If your shops do anything like that you should pick a few up whether they look interesting or not. Sometimes the cover isn't nearly as interesting as the content even if that is the purpose of it.

 

And of course I'm also a huge advocate of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series. Though I'm not up to date on them they've always been one of my favorite comics (I read webcomics more than physical comics, partially cuz money)

It is a bit lude, but Katawa Shoujo.

That's a visual novel, not a graphic novel, but I did love it (With the graphic scenes disabled)

I highly recommend the below graphic novels. All of them are extremely good, though they are a bit dark. Still, they're great reads.
