Rin giggles quietly and nods her head.  "Well, it's a pleasure meeting all three of you!  Thank you so much, by the way!  I volunteered to help out here, but it turns out I'm a terrible teacher without being able to do things hands-on...  You're really saving my butt tonight!  I don't know what I was going to do otherwise!"  

 

As she speaks, Rin starts walking over towards the clearing where the students were gathered.  "Alright kids, special treat tonight!  My new friend Abigail has agreed to have a battle with me, instead of the usual lesson plan."  As Rin stepped into the clearing, her Eevee jumped down off of her shoulder as she turned back around to wink at Abigail.  "Would you like to make this one on one, or two Pokemon each?  Also, you can have the first move, hon.  Eve and I are ready when you are."  "Eevee!"

"Damn it, this is too much.  Viro, get ready!"  "Rrrready!"  Knowing that they were outnumbered, and with Yiree nearly out of usable Pokemon, both girls stepped back to back and recalled their wounded Pokemon already on the field.  Quickly Yiree grabbed Viro's hand and pulled out her final Pokeball, dropping it on the ice between them and shouting "Gardevoir!  Teleport!"  There was the flash of light from the Pokeball opening, and just as suddenly both girls were gone.

 

The danger wouldn't have been quite over yet though, as the ice was by now incredibly weak.  Before anyone would be able to move, the ice under Stella and Muna would break, starting to drop the trainers into the cold water...  Before a Dragonair rises up under Stella, and a Kingdra under Muna.  The beating of large wings would signal Clair flying down closer to the water, riding on her Charizard's back.  "Good job you two," she mentions towards her two Pokemon that had so quickly caught the trainers.  She directs her gaze towards Stella and Muna for a moment before allowing herself a small smile.  "And you as well.  Thanks for your help...  Wait for me near the gym, Dragonair and Kingdra will get you safely back across the water.  I don't think the ice is thick enough to support you now."

 

Charizard starts to beat its wings again before turning to fly back towards Sable.  Clair's glare for her was much less kind than it had been to Stella and Muna.  "And you!  Don't think I didn't notice what you were up to!"  She stares momentarily at the Pokeball holding Goomy before directing her glare back to Sable.  "Using the confusion to catch one of Blackthorn's dragons...  You're lucky I don't make you release it!  Don't let me catch you back in the Den again!"  As though for emphasis, Mega Charizard X opens its mouth wide and roars as Clair finishes speaking, flying forward and slapping Sable in the back with his tail as though to shove her towards the exit.

"Damn..." Stella muttered under her breath, as the duo disappeared. Helioptile climbed back onto her shoulder, sighing aloud due to the lack of capability of doing much. Stella was about to return Helioptile to it's pokeball, when she suddenly felt something crack beneath her. Before she knew it, she felt like she was falling. Her legs felt like they were about to freeze, but something was stopping her from falling further. "Huh...?" She pondered aloud, noting the random Dragonair she was now riding on. Muna also looked to be on top of a pokemon, but she didn't recognize it. 

 

As Clair finished talking, Stella couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy. Truth be told, Clair was rather intimidating. Perhaps a bit more than rather, actually. Though, she seemed nice now. Except to the other girl, who she had begun to scold. Though the girl honestly deserved it. She hadn't helped matters at all. As Stella was about to thank Clair soon after she had finished scolding the other girl, Dragonair began to swim away. As Stella wasn't currently in the disposition to speak up, she let Dragonair carry her to shore. She was blind to any events that happened after Clair had finished speaking.

 

Once both Stella and Muna had arrived at the shore, getting off, Stella patted Dragonair on the head. "Thanks for the ride!" She said in a chipper tone, though she appeared to be shivering. Helioptile also smiled at the Dragonair, letting out a friendly cry. She then turned her attention to Muna. "We best head to the gym, hm?"

"Umbreon don't let them get away!" Sable yelled to Umbreon who quickly ran over to Gardevoir in an attempt to stop the Teleport. However it seemed Umbreon was too slow because he the trainers and their Gardevoir disappeared as soon as Umbreon got there, leaving him to skid on the ice before regaining his balance. "Dammit." Sable says quietly to herself. "Ah well, at least I was able to get a dragon Pokemon." She says holding Goomy's Pokeball in her hand.

Just then Clair's voice rings through Sable's ears making her jump a bit. "Don't worry I don't plan on coming back. Though you might want to do something about all the ice." Sable says sarcastically. When Charizard pushes her with it's tail she stumbles a bit and Umbreon starts to growl at the dragon. "Stand down Umbreon let's not start anything else. I mean it's not like I didn't help fight off those guys too..." She says quietly.

Upon seeing that the way out was blocked by a large body of water, Sable turns around to Clair. "Hey, you're not gonna let me ride one of your, oh so special, dragons?" She asks with a bit of anger in her voice. Luckily Galvantula creates a large spider web for her trainer to walk across, though it would require a bit of balancing. "Thank's Galvantula." "Gal!" The spider cries as she and Umbreon follow Sable out of the den.

Muna, still clinging to Audino, squeezed her even tighter as he felt the ice give out beneath them both.  They hadn’t really noticed that the enemies had teleported away, as their attention was mainly focused on each other.  “Audino, hold on!”  Muna exclaimed as they fell through the ice and into the freezing water.

 

Luckily for the both of them, they were swiftly carried out of the water by a rather large Dragon-type Pokemon.  Muna had never seen anything quite like it, and under normal conditions would’ve been dazzled by it, but at the moment he was listening as Clair gave him and Stella praise while chastising Sable.  He frowned in confusion; hadn’t Sable helped them out a bit towards the end of the battle?  Clair’s actions towards her did seem a bit harsh, especially Charizard’s tail-slap.  “Hey, lady with the blue disaster of a hairstyle!  Don’t be a bitch to my friend!” Muna shouted at Clair and her Charizard.  He already didn’t like the gym leader very much cause of her totally unfashionable hair style, and now he definitely didn’t like her.  She seemed too easy to jump to conclusions.

 

“Aud!”  Audino chimed in, agreeing with her trainer.  Sable definitely helped deal with the Starmie, she saw it happen herself!

 

After reaching the shore and climbing off the Kingdra with Audino in his arms, Muna thanked Kingdra before turning his attention to Stella.  “Yeah, sure thing!  I would like to wait for my friend first, though; I'd like to see you both whoop Clair's behind.”  He then watched as Sable made her way across the lake using Galvantula’s webbing.  “Hey, Dustox sweetie!  Make sure to catch Sable with Confusion if she slips!”  Muna called out to the moth Pokemon, who was currently doing flips and twirls in the air for no apparent reason.

"Well, it's rather late, so 1v1 would be best. Though I would want Jeanne to get some action, Isabella would throw a fit if she didn't handle this," she looked down at her clefairy, "alright, Madame Isabella De Pompadour, you're up!" The clefairy puffed out its chest and strutted onto the clearing. "Let's keep this a 1 on 1 battle, 'kay?" She gave a friendly wink to Rin.

 

"Hmm... what move should we use? If we start with Sing, we could put it to sleep... but if that doesn't work, we would be in trouble. Perhaps we should just attack?" Abigail was uncertain of the course of action, and the clefairy had walked up towards the eevee, "use disarming voice?" Abigail said, but instead the clefairy raised its hand to slap a fool. "-ry!"

Noi seemed disappointed that her friend had to leave but understood with the damage she had taken.  She then flew over and held onto Jason kindly, nuzzling into his chest randomly. "Noi...noi..." she flirted in happiness of seeing Jason. The pokemon seemed to have grown attached to him and his presence. 

Allen merely watched her as he listened to Jason intently, feeling uncomfortable at how obvious his upset nature was to the guy. The frown never left Allen's face as he couldn't bring himself to look at Jason but merely ponder his words in his mind. "I..." What do I say? He saw right through everything..."I...You're right. You never have seen me battle," Allen nodded in a depressive manner. "I'm not a good trainer. That much is certain. Trying to compete is the hardest thing when you want the ones with talent to really shine. Johto had it's champion story through Gold...I may have big dreams but those shoes are too big for my feet." Just the thought of everything seemed to depress Allen more as he weaved through the route and glanced at the wild pokemon, seeing a Gligar having fun with some of its kin. Everything else seemed so happy. Why couldn't he join?

"I'll stick with you though," Allen piped, giving the best smile he could under the circumstances as his shoe scuffled in the grass and dirt. "Having a friend is the best thing I could have right now. Besides...I wouldn't want Lumi to get upset."

Eevee's eyes seemed to get a little wider as Isabella got ready to slap her, and without even waiting for a command from Rin the little silver Eevee starts to kick up a large cloud of dust.  It was trying to hide behind a Sand Attack, though it was kicking it into the air more than aiming it at the Clefairy...  Making it hard to see, though it would have most likely harmed Eevee's ability to aim as well...

 

"Eve, chill out would ya?  Uh, just...  Hell you made a mess...  Use Swift, I guess, you don't actually have to aim that."  After Rin's command reaches her Pokemon there is a small delay before a number of star shaped projectiles launch out of the dust cloud, seeming to go in random directions at first before starting to home in towards Isabella.

As Clair flew out of the den she jumped off of Charizard's back, returning him to his Pokeball and then doing the same to Kingdra and Dragonair, sparing a moment to glance at Muna and scowl.  "Well I was going to thank you for your help, but nevermind."  Without waiting for a reply she turns and walks back into her Gym, following after Stella.

 

Once inside the Gym, Clair nods at Stella and smiles slightly.  "Girl, come here for a moment."  She nods her head to gesture for Stella to come closer before extending a hand to the other trainer.  "You ran out after our match earlier, but I think what I saw in the Den makes up for it.  Thank you for your help with that pair.  You did a good job helping to keep one of them distracted, if it had been two against one I don't know if I'd have been able to win as easily as I did."  The dragon type leader smirks before shrugging her shoulders slightly.  "I guess I'm saying...  Welcome to Blackthorn.  If you want to try for the Rising Badge again in the future, I'd be happy to battle you again.  And if you ever wanted to train in the Den...  I could probably arrange that for you.  Under supervision, of course."

Not actually all that far away, the two girls who had attacked the Den were ducked behind the shadow of an outcropping from the mountain, watching the gym carefully for signs of pursuit.

 

"Sooo, why did we do that again?"

 

"That doesn't matter, you'll forget again if I tell you anyways..."  Yiree smiles slightly as she watches a couple of the trainers argue with Clair, tapping one of the Pokeballs at her belt.  "Besides, it seems to have worked...  I guess it's true that no one who challenges the League likes Clair."

Stella glanced away from Muna quickly at the mention of fighting Clair. Not only that, but also winning! What, was he insane? Had he not seen Clair's prowess in battling? In the Den, Stella had used a strategy that wouldn't normally be considered fair. Plus, she only thought it up because she found letting her own Seviper swing its tail around like that made it very unbalanced. She then laughed nervously, still glancing away. "Oh... I don't think I'm good enough to beat her yet...! I think I'll challenge a different gym first. Maybe the flying one..." 

 

As Muna mentioned 'Sable' Stella looked up. She looked to have a very powerful pokemon, if it could pull off something like that. Meaning she could also help at least a bit when herself, Muna, and Clair were all trying to take down the powerful opposition. It seemed her and the boy were acquainted. She was about to say something in regards to the trainer, but Clair had called her instead. Not wanting to disappoint the leader, she hurried to where Clair was standing.

 

As Clair held her hand out, presumably for Stella to shake, she did so lightly. After Clair had finished talking, Stella spoke up. Though, her voice was still quiet, and she was still shivering slightly from the cold water. "Thank you..." She said. "I'll make sure to challenge you again, then. Though, I don't think I'll need to go to the Dragon's Den anytime soon. I've already caught a dragon type in this reason." On cue of being mentioned, Axew burst out of its pokeball, triumphantly crossing its arms over its chest. Not that he was proud to be working with a trainer as pathetic as his, of course. Stella sighed, and returned Axew to his pokeball. She then remembered something. Both Phanpy and Magikarp had fainted, and had been so for a while now. Even if Audino had healed them, they needed proper medical attention. Badly.

 

"Thank you for everything, but I really must get my pokemon healed... And it's getting rather late too..."

When Sable reached land she arrived just in time to see Clair scowl at Muna. "What did he do this time?" She sighed. After returning Galvantula, Sable walked up to Muna. "Can you believe her, treating me like a criminal? I heard Clair was a hardass but this is ridiculous." She glared at Stella as she talked with the gym leader. "Come on let's get out of here while Clair is talking to her little pet." Sable says walking to the Pokemon Center. Once she arrives she walks straight up to the counter and starts talking. "Look, I'm in a bad mood is there a place I can stay for the night? Errm, preferably a one bed room..." Sable says not really wanting to bunk with Muna.

Sand got in Isabella's eyes, and so she used her hands to clear her eyes instead of following through with her double slap. "-ryyy..." she said irritated. "Isabella, please, use disarming voice this time." her trainer called out, a concerned timbre to her voice, just in time for the swift stars to hit the clefairy. This knocked her back, and she was none too pleased. She let out a pained cry that would make the coldest heart shatter, intending to make the eevee feel bad about itself for daring to hurt her.

Jason nodded towards his friend and they continued to walk towards Blackthorn. "Well, if it means anything. I'm glad to have you with me and I am sure Lumi would like it too." He said to Allen as they walked. 

After a few moments they arrived at the town's entrance. "I guess I'll try the gym here. The leader's name was Clair, right? Anything you could tell me about her?" He asked curiously as Jason walked towards the gym.

Allen sighed at the feel of being back in his hometown again. "Clair is Lance's sister...She has a hard head and is one tough trainer. Gold even had difficulty against her at first," he nodded, remembering all the times Clair had criticized how weak he and Noi were...She was mean oftentimes and very competitive. Allen knew Lance was only a smidgen better but that was mainly because he was a good man and wise with his pokemon.

Jason entered the the gym with Allen following shortly behind him. "I guess I'll try to get that badge. Hopefully a type advantage would prove to be the deciding factor." Jason knew that Lumi's ice attacks would prove devastating to most dragons and counted on that advantage. 

The first thing Jason noticed was a the hot temperature of the gym. Surprisingly Clair was right by the entrance talking to a girl. "Excuse me. Is Gym leader Clair here? I was hoping to challenge her for a badge." He asked the two respectfully not realizing Clair was one of the two girls in front of him.

As Clair walked away after her retort, Muna snapped back.  “Well I didn’t ask for your thanks in the first place!  Sometimes people just do nice things without wanting anything in return!”  Huffing, he spun around to face Sable as she approached him.

 

“No kidding, jeez.  She obviously needs to get rid of that stick up her behind.”  Picking up on Sable’s scowl at Stella, Muna scratched his head in confusion.  Stella was nice enough of a girl, he was sure they could all get along.  Nonetheless he shrugged it off and followed Sable, but not before calling after Stella and waving with a smile.  "Hey!  We’re going to the Pokemon Center for the night, hope to see you soon!”

 

“Dustooox!”  The moth Pokemon chimed in, fluttering over to nuzzle the side of Stella’s face affectionately before following after his trainer.

 

“Auuud!”  Audino waved a ‘see you later’ to Stella as well, currently walking hand-in-hand with Muna.

 

Upon entering the Pokemon Center and approaching Nurse Joy, Muna nodded in agreement with Sable.  He wouldn’t room with her if she didn’t feel comfortable doing so; that would just be completely uncool.  “Yes, I would also like a single room, please.”

The cloud of dust slowly starts to settle, Eevee's ears flat against her head at the sound of the cry.  "Eve, be careful and use Quick Attack!"  The little silver Eevee didn't seem to hear the command with the way her ears were held down, but then she turned around to look at Rin.  With a patient smile Rin made a couple of hand signs, and Eevee seemed to have somehow gotten the message from it.  After just a couple seconds the little silver Pokemon took off in a blur towards Isabella.

Clair glared at Sable and Muna's backs before looking back towards Stella.  "Don't mind those two, kid.  You did well.  The other girl was more interested in helping herself to the Den in the chaos, and I don't know what the freak's deal is."  She hesitates for a moment before nodding her head.  "Go ahead, go rest up your Pokemon.  And if you ever feel like training with your Axew, there's a reason that Blackthorne is known for its dragon trainers."

Before she could say anything else Jason and Allen had approached.  Clair crossed her arms across her chest as she stared at the two of them, letting her gaze linger on Allen for a moment before turning her attention to Jason.  "I'm Clair, but the Gym isn't accepting challengers right now.  Come back in the morning."  Turning her gaze back towards Allen, she nods her head towards the vague direction in the Den.  "Allen.  The Den was just attacked.  The ones who did it are gone, go help the others make sure the dragons are alright before turning in, would you?"

Nurse Joy blinks and gestures towards a hall leading deeper into the Pokemon Center.  "Why, yes, we have a number of rooms available.  You can take any free ones that you would like."

Freak? That was a bit rude to say, wasn't it? Not that Stella disagreed or anything. Sure, the boy trainer was odd, but such things should simply be thought, right? Not really wanting to argue with Clair at the late hour, she smiled awkwardly until two other people showed up. Clair had told her to heal her pokemon before anyway, so she might as well get going. "Erm... Thank you." She said, turning to walk away from the three and headed towards the pokemon centre. 

 

As she walked, the girl returned Helioptile to its pokeball. She would need to be healed up too. Upon arrival to the pokemon centre, Stella noted the all-too-familiar faces currently talking to Nurse Joy. They looked to be heading down a hall, or at least about to, so it wouldn't be too hard to outright ignore them. The girl wasn't really in the mood to talk to that rude girl any longer. Or talk to people in general. "Uhm... Could you heal my pokemon, please?" She asked the nurse quietly, as to keep her voice down, carefully placing her four pokeballs on the counter. "I also need someplace to spend the night, if that's ok..."

"Thanks." Sable said passively as she walked to the back of the building and picked a room. "Damn, what a day." She says talking off her jacket, boots, and gloves. When she takes off her bandanna she opens it up, revealing a Team Plasma logo. "What I wouldn't give to relive those days." She says to herself with a sigh. "Hell, everyone's treating me like a criminal anyway. Might as well get all the benefits." Umbreon grimaced at the thought of being in Team Plasma again. He never did like it, what with all the stealing and abuse of innocent Pokemon. Though he tolerated it for Sable's sake. "Oh well, guess you can't have everything your way right Umbreon?" Umbreon nods before going into the corner and curling up, obviously not wanting to spend the night inside his Pokeball. Sable yawns before saying "Goodnight Umbreon." The Pokemon responds with a simple "Umbre." and both go to sleep.

Jason sighed; slightly disappointed at the fact that he missed the Gym before it closed for the day. "Sorry for bothering you this late in the evening. I guess I'll challenge you first thing in the morning." Jason apologized to Clair keeping a respectful tone. "Who would have the gall attack the Dragon's Den anyway? Why would they do it?" He asked no one in particular before turning to his friend. "Do you want some help with those Dragons?" He offered Allen, not knowing about the policy of requiring proper permission before entry to the Dragon's Den was allowed.

Muna was about to follow Sable when he noticed Stella nearby at the same counter.  He hesitated for a moment before speaking up.  “…Goodnight.”  After that he walked away with Audino and Dustox into the sleeping chambers hallway, picking out the room across from Sable’s and settling in after closing the door.  He honestly was extremely tired, and a good night’s rest would definitely help perk him up a bit.  Audino was already snuggling into the bed sheets with Dustox.

 

Muna chuckled warmly, going about his nightly routine.  After finishing that, he crawled in bed between his two Pokemon, Audino instinctively hugging her arms around his torso and Dustox pressing himself close to Muna’s body warmth.  With a sigh of contentment, Muna felt himself drift off slowly…

 

That night, he dreamed of home, and a strange, glowing figure in the distance.

Allen, despite his friends offer shook his head and looked back to Clair like a pup fearful of its mom. "I'll be alright Jason...Just...wait for me. I'll be back," he assured his friend before whistling Noi over. Noi wasn't too happy about leaving Jason's chest, nuzzling into it once more before letting go and flapping her wings speedily to catch up Allen who pet her head encouragingly. Clair always intimidated him, being practically the same age as her, they had grown up together in the same town but she was simply always better at everything. She started training when she was but a little kid...Allen had just started a little while ago. "Alright Clair..." he mumbled before putting his hands in his pockets and turning to the pathway to get into Dragon's Den. Admittedly, he didn't know what to expect.

Jason gave Noi a gentle pat on the head before she left with Allen. "I'll be at the Pokemon center if you need me." He told his friend as he left for the Dragon's Den. "Goodnight Miss Clair, good luck during tomorrow's battle." He said towards the gym leader respectfully before departing for the Pokemon center.

Jason decided to let Lumi out of her Pokeball as they walked towards the Pokemon Center. The familiar sight of his Pokemon appeared before him after a brief flash of light. "Well Lumi, it looks like we will be having that battle tomorrow. How are you feeling? We are headed to a Pokemon center for the night, if you want to recover with Nurse Joy that is alright. I know you had a bunch of battles today." 
Lumi shook her head "Glacy." She replied shaking her head indicating she wanted stay with Jason. "Alright then." He replied.

Jason felt something stir in his pocket; he knew who it was. A yellow Joltik popped out and quickly crawled his way down Jason's pants and jumped on to Lumi; quite happy to be with his new found friend. "Jol Jolt!" He squeaked happily.

The trio entered the Pokemon Center and Jason walked up to the counter while Lumi went to one of the nearby empty chairs and lay down and waited for Jason to finish his talking to Nurse Joy. "Good evening Nurse Joy. Do you have a room available for the night? I hav--" Jason stopped talking as he noticed the girl from the gym earlier standing next to him looking like she was waiting on a reply from Nurse Joy. "Sorry. I did not notice you were talking to Nurse Joy." Jason apologized to Stella and took a step back from the counter giving the girl some space. "I saw you talking to Clair earlier, and since you are here at this hour I assume you are not a local. Were you there to battle her? If you don't mind me asking." He asked Stella with a slight smile.

The clefairy was struck by the quick attack, and barely kept her footing. It raised its arms in retaliation, to slap, and then slap again, of course.

 

"Alright, use double slap this time..." Abigail said, since her clefairy was going to go ahead and do it anyways.

"Oh no, Eve!"  Slap, slap!  The little silver Eevee was knocked away with a small cry, wincing away from the Clefairy.  "Eve, are you okay?"  When the Pokemon looks back up at Rin, she smiles down at the shiny Pokemon and nods her head.  "It's okay, just make a Wish.  Everything will be okay."  Eevee nods her head before her coat starts to glow a little.  Nothing seems to happen yet, but the move went off...  Whatever it was.

 

Rin is about to give another command when abruptly the large bell on top of the school starts to ring.  The students that were gathered around watching the battle all got up and quickly left, and in a matter of seconds the school yard went from full to nearly empty as the younger children rushed to get home.  "...Oh, come on!  When I was their age I would have stayed after to watch a Pokemon battle!  Sheesh, kids..."  Rin rubs at the back of her neck and grins across the field at Abigail.  "I, uh....  Guess there's not much reason for us to continue with the kids gone, huh?"

 

With the delay of the children leaving and the bell quieting down, Eevee had started to shine again as her wounds started to heal.  After Wish had taken its effect, the silver Eevee ran back to Rin and immediately started scratching at her trainer's leg, wanting back up on her shoulder.  "I'm sorry about that, it really was a good battle...  Thanks for agreeing to that.  Oh, wait right here!"

 

Rin quickly turned and ran into the school, her Eevee frantically trying to hold on to her shoulder as she runs off.  A little bit of crashing, grunts, cries from Eevee, and broken glass can be heard coming from inside before Rin abruptly walks back out, now holding a glass container in her arms.  As she walks back over to Abigail she smiles and holds it out so the other trainer can see, and to see the Pokemon Egg inside.

 

"Er, as thanks for helping me, I thought I'd see if you wanted this.  It's one of Eve's, and we've been hoping to find a trainer that would take care of it...  I mean, if you want it, of course."  "Eevee!"

Rowing up towards the Dragon's Den, there were still large clumps of ice in the water that hadn't yet broken apart or melted.  Most of the wild Pokemon were still huddled together in the darker corners of the Den, though a few of the Horsea and Skrelp started to swim forward when they saw a trainer that they recognized.  Any damage was mostly restricted to the area around the entrance to the Den - there were some nasty looking cracks in the walls, but it would seem whoever had done this was stopped before they got too far into the Den.

A Chansey walks from around the counter to take Stella's Pokeballs from her, disappearing into the back room while Nurse Joy speaks from behind the counter.  "We have a number of available rooms, you are both more than welcome to help yourselves to any of them that are free."  After a small delay the Chansey had returned, holding up the tray of Pokeballs for Stella to take her Pokemon back.

"Thank you very much." Stella said in response, bowing slightly. She then turned to pick a room, and managed to pick the one right beside Sable. The girl shut the door softly, then threw herself on the bed. "Ugh... I'm so tired..." She muttered.

 

Once Stella had been successful in messing up the bed, she sat up, taking off her trench coat. The bottom was still wet, but thankfully her skirt and tanktop remained dry. She hung the coat over the edge of the bed to let it dry. "Okay. Everyone out." She said, summoning all four of her pokemon. "Not much fun to be in your pokeballs all night. Just don't be too loud, kay?" All of the pokemon nodded - excluding Magikarp. Both Phanpy and Axew began to fight over on which side of the bed either would sleep on, while Magikarp flopped onto the floor. 

 

Helioptile, on the other hand, seemed to notice something. She had picked up on a not-too-friendly familiar voice, and ran up to the wall it was coming from, pressing one of her ears against it. "Hm? Something up, Helioptile?" Stella asked the electric type, then did the same thing, pushing her ear against the wall. Her tired expression immediately became one of annoyance. She sighed softly, as to not be heard by Sable.

 

Something Sable said caught her attention, though. And it turned the girl's face pale. She quickly grabbed Helioptile and walked away from the wall. "Treated like a criminal? And wants to relive the old days? Think that means...?" She whispered to Helioptile, who nodded in knowing agreement. Both Phanpy and Axew turned their attention to the two, noting their suspicious behavior. "Oh, don't worry!" She said to the other two pokemon, just a bit too loudly, and therefore immediately dropping her voice. "Let's all get to bed, okay?" 

 

Stella's night was rather restless. There was far too much on her mind. She didn't end up getting much sleep at all...

Allen was shocked for a moment at the damage, Noi just as much. "What happened here?" he asked wonderingly as though someone would respond. Noibat chittered for a little bit before watching the friendly looks given by the pokemon within that were starting to relax a bit. Allen eyed them curiously, noticing that whatever had happened really unsettled the peace that he once knew had been here. Trying to encourage the confidence of the pokemon, Allen smiled kindly before looking to the cracked walls and the ice at the entrance. "Guess I'm sleeping in here with you guys tonight," he nodded, knowing that Clair meant for him to stay and watch over the pokemon within. She always sounded so much like a leader...yet somehow Allen always ended up on Den duty.

 

Pulling the small boat ashore to a land mass where he always slept, Allen began to spread the blanket he would lay on while lifting the lantern out of the boat and lighting it. Noi quickly settled on the blanket as he sat next to her, looking up to Allen with a smile. With him there, hopefully the pokemon could calm down...even though he wasn't even close to the best trainer in Blackthorn.
