Just read on Nextdoor that somebody I got to know quite well has died. He used to run the Trader Mill Tearoom up the road. (This has been closed last couple of years because the mill is being renovated so the site is unsafe for visitors.)

So not happy thoughts at the moment.

Think I've posted a picture before – Trader Mill Tearoom – Ian used to repair and renovate old clocks and display them in the cafe ...

It's also sad to look at threads from when I joined and I see how many of my "first" friends I can't talk to right now because they aren't around.
