JUST started watching the G5 movie introducing the new generation (gasp! A rip off of Startreks NTG initials!?!?!?!?!?!?) And almost immediately the movie starts by shoving your face into a great big rainbow. As a straight man, I appreciate when my movies start with a huge helping of GAYYYYYYYYY. (Joke for those who don't know. And yes, for those who might inevitably ask, I am an ally. This is not an attack on the LGBT community. This is a mockery on the start of the movie. The fact that I feel I have to write this disclaimer is saddening enough).

So many cartoons these days are made with either little kids or older adults in mind. There isn't much for pre-teens, adolescents and young adults. Your choices are basically Coco-melon or Family Guy. 

Probably why Lackadaisy, Murder Drones, Digital Circus, Hazbin Hotel and a lot of anime managed to get so big.
