planning Mlp Tigers

I was thinking the culture would be similar to the pony's, but seeing as they are carnivores, and a tad more violent, they would have rites of passage and such that are diffrent, like the princess has an annual hunt, instead of the grand galloping gala. I really like the idea Thunder Dash had, that the ponies enter the universe and are turned into tigers (similar to Equestria Girls) and there fore have to inyergrate themselves into the society. I was thinking that perhaps when the ponies cross over, the tiger's world would be in the midst of war (i was thinking jaguars, maybe?) Now, the tiger have wings, but i was thinking horns might not work, so another magical item would replace that, but i was going to put that up to public debate, for thoes who are going to have unicorns cross over.

Well, maybe action and adventure? I would still want it to be in the pony world. Or maybe an alternate universe, where all ponies are tigers.

 

Example: rainbow dash would be a blue winged tiger with rainbow stripes.

Hmm, while pony-like tigers could be a cute little visual design, I question what such a concept could do for a primarily text-based creation such as an RP. If you are trying to think of what kind of plot to set up, you should try to brain storm what kind of themes and concepts you could explore only because of the introduction of this new species. After all, if they're is nothing unique about them that can be explored in an RP, why even bother with an RP about them, anyway?

 

So, you should perhaps think of how this tiger society would differ fundamentally from the ponies. For one thing, tigers are carnivorous, while ponies are herbivorous. How would that influence their culture? That's just one example, though. 

 

If you put the time in to think about how this concept would work, rather than simply think along the lines of "wouldn't it be cute if...", it could prove to be a very interesting setting to RP in.

Well im not fantastic at controlling a role play, so it wont be the best right off, thats why im asking for others to help. And i have put time into thoughts on the plot, so please dont assume i havent and i didnt start it because i thought "wouldnt it be cute if..." i have planned the species, the society, and most other details in a notebook, and have drawn out characters. I just havent had the time to post or scan any of it. I would appreciate if you would help, but not make personal remarks about my capability to write a story.

But...I've just come up with something...what if...two ponies...travel to a new world, where everything is different, because it's the tiger version of Equestria, and as soon as they step foot on the island, they turn into tigers themselves, retaining all of the talents and abilities they had when they were a pony! How's that sound. We could do a 1x1, and maybe add some romance. Or...we could do it griffon style!

Oh, I'm sorry, I had no intent to to belittle your writing abilities. I was simply questioning it, as I question everything, since there was not much info in this topic aside from discussion about what these tigers would look like.
