REALLY? *incredulous stare* *grins* Okiiiie dokiiiie lokiiiiie! Villain: Pinkie, do you want delicious cake? Of course you do. Just follow this little path into Everfree forest and... Applejack: DON'T DO IT PINKIE! IT'S A LIE!!!! Or have a character named after Ramirez to set up a Modern Warfare 2 joke. Have Twilight going around town throughout the episode, and keep hearing this: "[RAMIREZ PONY]! *insert task here*!" It would be immediately understood by Bronies, whereas the kids would be none the wiser. Or have Pinkie Pie or Rainbow Dash about to pull a prank on somepony, only for them to dive into a pile of hay when the pony turns around. No, they've got to jump off a roof or something into a pile of hay. But then they'd be right to fear that some kid might try it IRL Lol, pretty epic reference, though. Mario and Luigi just as a throwback, isnt forced, and is easily recognizable. A short red dressed pony and a tall green one. Maybe one dressed in a bowser costume.
