A world divided, whether by the rage of ponykind or hatred of another kind simply because of birthplace. War was spawned and gifted in it's grotesque wrapping amid the living over power and ambition. No longer was it a manner of slaughter and savagery, but rather a gentleman's quarrel: marching in ranks to beat and songs of merriment to death himself. Corruption had finally found it's greater strength...and proper strength of dignity and honor. Behind the veil, fiendish crimes and deceit still held it's ground. It was unfortunate for those who wished peace. Many wished simple lives, while others the sword...however, only those who changed the world to further greatness would be remembered as others fade into obscurity.

(Best of luck in the RP everyone! Remember to have fun and use those creative minds. Your path is your own.)

"It's a summons Caiesm, by Neighpolean himself. Have you ever stood before the Emperor before?" Flower asked the stallion peering out the window of the large white homestead. She smiled slightly at his pause, gently stepping against the beautifully crafted wooden floor as she picked up a candle with her mouth amid the darkened room. It's light flickered quietly as she set it down on the windowsill next to the dark as night stallion. "Caiesm?...my love?" the mare asked again softly, reaching her hoof out to Caiesm's chin and turning his attention to her. His eyes seemed distant but upon seeing her comforting smile, the stallion couldn't help but take Flower's loving turquoise hoof and kiss it sweetly before lowering it in his careful grasp. "Only one month...How could time have flown so swiftly?" he whispered, obviously shaken by the summons and the precious emerald eyes staring back at him. Flower smiled and fervently shushed him before moving herself caressinlgly against his firm, warm chest, closing her eyes to feel the moment to the greatest of her capability. She smiled as Caiesm followed suite, resting his head lightly against the darkened jade and white mane upon the back of her neck. "I give you my life, my beautiful Flower...I will return...I promise," Caiesm swore as he felt a small tear fade into his chest from the mare. Gracefully, Flower inched her muzzle to turn to his. Finding his press softly against her's, Flower opened her eyes and passionately kissed her love. Slowly, Caiesm guided her to their celestial bed of sheets white, carrying the small flame of the candle with him. As it was found, Flower allowed him her lasting memory of love as the candle dimmed into a darkened fade amid the chanced final time that Caiesm could call to her kingdom. He then found her in all his being within her ballroom halls, joining her to the beat of her heavenly dance.

Suddenly the wooden wagon jumped as it's wheel hit a rock, startling Caiesm back into his reality. He was almost there...Pearis...

(Seriously?  No replies yet?  I shall start us off then!)

Rut-Light sat on a wooden stool in front of his large, wooden desk; angry with himself.  His entire family was gone, dead to specify, he could do nothing as he watched them die right before his deep blue eyes...he was on his own.  He lifted his head from the desk it was laying on and looked around him; papers were strewn on the surface of the desk, multitudes of books were towered upon each other on the floor.  The only light in the room was a dimly lit candle that sat at the far right corner of the stallions hard-wood desk, the rest of the large writing-room basked in the darkness.

Quill still in hoof, open journal still waiting patiently on the desk, Rut-Light began to write.

Equestrian Nation, 1705

Entry# 21

What I have been like throughout the years of my families passing may seem despicable, but I have good reason for acting as such.  Not one pony on the face of this earth can establish how close the relation between me and my family had, and no-pony ever will...or will they?  I have no idea.  What's the meaning of death?  Is it to take away what one adores, or is it simply a way of life?  If it is as such then I have no choice but to agree with it.  All things die in the end, nothing can live eternally and if one thinks such then he is a fool.  I, am not one of those ponies who believe in eternal life.  Nothing can stop death, as it happens to all of us.

Spades was sitting in a tree, over his cart, doing exactly what his parents always told him not to do. He smirked and looked up at the sky, letting his hind-leg dangle slightly from the tree. He only assumed that his daydreams meant a crime here. 'Of which, I happily confess and commit to.'

After a while, he sighed and pulled out a deck of cards, then started to carefully shuffle them in his hooves. Soon, he came to an abrupt stop in the middle of his shuffling; and a card leaped from the deck into the air. He caught it. "The queen of hearts: A sign of violence and rage from those above you, and precursor to dark times..."

He laughed and tore the card the to pieces, then placed his deck back into his pocket. "That still doesn't explain why I don't have any customers today~" He started to pull his cart away from the remains of a small fire and campsite, then headed off for town to sell his wares; either setting up in the night or opening during the day, who was Dreamless to decide the time day?

Pearis was shimmering in it morning light, bells ringing a peaceful rise to the sun. Despite the fact of reason of his presence, Caiesm found a serenity in the city in it's amazing structure and culture. His wagon team seemed excited as well as they entered the grand city with the black wagon in tow, one of the gasping in aw. "Ever seen the city before, Mr. Shuck? Or is this your first?" Caiesm asked curiously, with a menial smirk. The younger stallion seemed to cower a little from the question as the older one carrying the other part of the wagon seemed to glare. "It's alright Cob, let him speak. I am curious of the colt's travels." Shuck flicked his orange tail slightly while giving his companion one last look before redirecting his attention to Caiesm as the continued pulling. "Er...no sir...It's beautiful," he muttered with slight nervousness in his voice. Caiesm nodded before looking to the well dressed ponies and structures they passed on their way to the Emperor's palace. "Indeed it is, lad...indeed it is."

Caiesm was dressed accordingly in his Prench officer attire with his necessary luggage in the back of the wagon, understanding that he wouldn't return home within the morrow...if that chance was even going to happen. Within a short period of finding the gates to the large palace, the trio of stallions were met by a firmly dressed guard bearing a Prance issue musket with bayonet attached. "Colonel? It is a pleasure seeing you sir!" the soldier trumpeted with a respectful tilt of his standard issue hat to Caiesm. "I'm not Colonel anymore, good stallion. The Emperor requests my presence and then I intend to return home once my business is done," Caiesm returned officially, letting his wishes be hinted in his disdain for the inevitable. The soldier's eyes looked to the wagon in pondering thought for a moment before nodding with a smile. "Yes sah," he answered unassured before turning and opening the gates with the other guards.

The wagon eventually stopped entirely as they passed the fancy gardens of flowers and trees at the foot of the palace steps. A stallion was awaiting Caiesm's presence at the top as the ex-colonel dismounted the cart and properly proceeded up to him. "I'm here to see the Emperor..." Caiesm stated to the dark green pony that seemed to lack any form of expression on his muzzle. "...is he here? I was requested." A long pause followed his confused question, the stallions just staring at each other awkwardly in the time provided before the other finally sounded. "Neighpoleon was called to deal with the Prench court on urgent matters," the grassy stallion gruffly announced, "His highness insisted that your matter was less of a prolonged discussion...claiming you would understand your duty upon giving you these." Caiesm was then handed a small rope tied stack of letters and a rolled parchment. "The Juggernaut and her fleet await your sail with the command of 5,000 marines...General." With eyes wide in surprise, Caiesm was then handed a medal and a few insignia. "Sword!" the stallion boomed as a servant went to Caiesm's side and strapped an extremely well decorate sheath with blade to his lower body.  Upon it read: "Hail the mighty Prance."

Forge had been working all day on this order of cannon balls, but it didn't seem to be getting any smaller. Stopping to wipe his brow, he thinks to himself about how he could use a pair of apprentices. Shrugging, he gets back to work. 'The sooner this one is done, the sooner I'm finished with this project' he reasons.

Rut-Light closes the journal with a heavy thump after the entry had been written in its place.  He didn't know what he could do anymore, nothing he did actually made him feel like he did anything, and the only thing that seemed to give him any comfort was to write in this journal that his father had given to him at the age of 20, back when he was still alive; back when everyone was alive but his mother.  He was tired, so tired, his eyes were like lead, they were heavy, he could barely hold them open before his eye lids drooped down once more; he had multiple bags under his eyes and what little bit of a bright, brilliant mind he used to have was still holding on to the threads of his mind.  He turned in his chair and looked at himself in a nearby mirror and wasn't surprised at what stared back.

"I need to sleep," he mumbled softly, "More than...*thunk*...anything..." and those were his last words before his head fell flat of the hard wood desk, his eyes closed and his breathing slow, but steady as he snored away, his right arm had fallen limp at his side, while his left arm lay wrapped around his head loosely.

Spades had been traveling since that mourning. The wagon he towed carried most of his stock: food, spices, and general trade. 'It weighs a ton...' But he could finally see landmark -from his map- that showed him the town he was meant to set up in was close. He was confident that he would finally be able to get rid of the bulk of his wares and make traveling easier, but that would be when he gets to the town; and another half days worth of travel sounded like~ 'Too much work...' His eyes were already starting to give way. He was certain too collapse when~ '!' He slightly heard a noise.

His senses were already weakened from exhaustion, so he immediately assumed the worse. 'Am I being ambushed!'

He only figured out what had made the noise -and exactly what condition he was in- after he calmed down. 'A crows nest... I assume some twigs broke when I startled it?' He sighed and looked around. 'I'll need to get some sleep~' He knew better than to rest out in the open, at least after the day he had been having... 'A queen and now~' He brushed off as nothing and looked at a house he was passing.

@, He slowly walked up to it -unarmed and hopefully not in too much of a suspicious way- and knocked on the door. 'Gun... Run...'

Forge heard a knock at the door. He set down the cannon ball he'd been working on and went to a window, keeping his trusty hammer with him. The hammer was a huge thing, and only someone used to working with it all day could imagine using it, much less carrying it around. Forge goes up to the door but doesn't open it. Instead he call through it to the pony outside. "Hello? Who's there. This is the Smith but businesses hours are over. Come back tomorrow if you need to make an order."

Spades cleared his throat and replied, the cold air just simply wasn't working in his favor. He sniffled and began to speak with the pony from behind the door. 'Forgery... Fire...'

"I'm sorry good sir~" He absolutely hated to speaking like this. With this posh and cheery accent, and the proper educate and grammar that he would have to use in public just to be taken seriously. He forced himself to stifle an annoyed sigh. "But I'm not here for your usual services. Would you perhaps happen to have a place I can take refuge for the night?" He pulled his jacket above his neck, "I hope that this doesn't seem too..."

'What's the word, what's the word, presumptuous?'

His felt a small breeze pass over his spine and shivered. After that, he was done. The sigh that he had tried to hold back earlier was let out into the air. He spoke in fairly low and monotone voice. "I'm sorry for bothering you so late at night, but I'm a simple merchant that has been traveling for quite some time now. I was just wondering if your forgery would have a place to stay for the night; and if you'd like, I have quite a few items in exchange for housing?" (Not to be mean. Spades is just direct.)

Forge, keeps a hoof on his hammer, but opens the door. Stepping outside, he says, "You can stay the night. Don't worry about it. The forge is still hot, you should be warm tonight. What's one the world coming to if one can't rely on their fellow ponies for a decent place to stay 'eh? There's a place in the back where you can put your cart if you like. I'm finishing an order of cannon balls then I'm going to get some shut eye. Make yourself at home, but steal anything, and you'll be seeing the business end of my hammer." His tone softens and he says, "I've already eaten, but there's some left overs in a cupboard on the far side of the room over there if your still hungry." Business done, Forge turns around and heads back to his name sake to finish said order of iron projectiles.

Before the stallion was too far away, Spades mumbled a quick "Thank you." Then he watched as the stallion turned around and started to walk away. 'Short and to the point...' He rubbed a hoof along the side of his jacket and slightly smirked as he tugged his cart in. 'After a nice rest... Maybe me and this stallion could have a conversation.' It could only be assumed that this was some form of compliment.

Once he was inside and could feel his body heating up again, spades had started to relax and even take in the forgery's unique scenery. It normally wasn't something that he would have liked to see -the weapons and armor- but under the circumstances he were in; He welcomed the number of arms and metal -but mainly heat- that filled the forge with open hooves. He even took a moment to examine a particularity fine rapier, mounted across from the area he was told to refugee in, as he trotted by.

He hated violence, but as a merchant, Spades could easily see the expert craftsmanship of the blade. He could also see a fair price, and reason for the warning when he entered. 'Or maybe sleep has a stronger hold on me than I thought. Can this stallion be that good?' He yawned and started to head for his temporary quarters. 'Luckily, I'm a gambler and a merchant. I'm sure I can ask him about his other crafts in the mor~'

Forge finishes the order and is about to douse the fire when he remembers the other pony staying there. 'I'll leave the fire going. Wouldn't be courteous of me to put it out not that he's warm.' All the same, he lifts up a small metal grate around the forge to keep the fire from spreading. This grate allowed light and heat out, but stopped most of the sparks from leaving so nothing else caught fire. He nods at the stranger who'd fallen right to sleep. 'Probably should've asked his name. Oh well. Get that in the morning.' Forge walks over to his door and secures it with a bolt. Then for extra measure, he locks the door with a key as well. After his house/shop is secure, Forge walks across his house to his small room. He gets inside, puts the key on the stand, and falls asleep. He'd also unconsciously kept his biggest hammer with him, setting it next to his bed before unconsciousness took him.

The dawn of a new day was coming...The sunshine was slowly showing itself, through every mountain, and today was going to be a sunny day...

It was one of these days where everypony should be outside..But on the middle of a filled street...

BOOM!!!

An explosion had happened, but the people didn't responded at all...The ponies surrounding the building just started to comment..."

"Another explosion no..."

"Is she again..."

"When is she going to stop?"

The people ignored the explosiom, and followed with their routines, but, inside the building...

"Urgh....Nononono!!!!That wasn't intened to happen with that combination!!!"

A blue mare with a brown jacket was picking up multiple bottles and flasks, without any ettiquete,of weird liquids, and she picked up a bag of gunpowder. The ponies of the village just knew her as "The Crazy Inventor",but only a very few ponies knew its true name...Lightwing...

"Argh!!!!This flask no!!!"

She throws the flask away, and creates a green cloud of smoke

"When i'm going to find the correct pattern???"

She started again with her experiments, hoping to find a pattern to investigate...

Dark Wing

(Flashback)

Dark Wing stood staring off in the distance. He closed his eyes. His memories came flooding back as he smelled the sea air. The memories of him as a young colt stepping off the boat, his mother leading them off the catwalk. Seeing the way the ponies of Prance reacted to the bat pony. Some backing away in fear, others approaching in anger. His mother had warped him in a blanket, hiding his bat wings from everypony on the dock.

His mother kept him safe the few short months they had together in Prance. She had just enough bits with her to  buy a rundown shack on the outskirts Pearis. Every day she would go out, trying to find a job to support her family. One day she didn't return, the young Bat Pony was on his own.

He had the advantage of his bat wings being hidden as they arrived. Many though he was a normal pony, though that was not the case. Each night he would venture out in a hunt for food to survive....

(Current)

Suddenly a ships bell rings as he snaps out of his daydream. He remembered the reason he had come to the docks,  He was to meet with the friend that had kept safe.

@@Aerodynas,

Dark Wing watched down the path as he say a filimar pony in the distance, it was his friend, and some my say savior. The pony that had taken him in and showed him the ropes. The bat pony waved a hoof to get his friends attention, wearing a cloak as to hide his true wings from onlookers.

Finding ways to sell his goods and tugging his cart during long journeys seem to make up most of Spades life at times. That's why he enjoyed moments night's like this so much. Even if it was just a simple forgery fire and a bed made from his craft outside. It was warm, peaceful, things that almost seem nonexistent in his travels... or most of his life.

His eyes slowly opened and he looked around the forgery, for some reason his eyes were drawn towards the resting place of the fine sword that he had seen the night before. At least he thought that's were it rested? 'Where did it go?' He looked around for the smith or possible thief, and when he found none, slowly started to move towards the weapon rack. When he reach the rack, he stuck out his hoof to touch the empty rack. He was met with a loud *click* coming from behind him.

He slowly turned to see a prance solider aiming a gun at him. "State where you lie..." Of course, he didn't have an answer. So he was asked again, except by a different solider from another country. It continued on and on until finally. Spades placed a hoof on his head and screamed... "I don't know!"

@

There was a loud bang@@Lightwing, , followed by a stallions loud screams as he fell from his cart. The cards in his pocket scattered in the air above him as he hit the ground. He grasped his chest in a scarred manor at first but was relived to see that he was still fine.

One of the cards had slowly descended onto his nose, and after he calmed down. Spades picked it up and looked at it... before ripping it to shreds. "... a joker, really!" He sighed and spent most of his mourning cleaning the mess he had made.

@@Skycoaster,

General Caiesm proceeded upon the docks amid an escort of 5 well decorated Prench guardsmen, his wagon that had carried him their beginning it's proceeding back to the plantation home. Cob and Shuck gulped in nervousness at the message they carried. Their mistress, Flower, would be very upset at the news of Caiesm touring the invasion of Equestria. In its own regard, it would likely be a long campaign. "Do you think he'll come back Cob?" the young Shuck asked his wagon team partner with a saddened expression. Cob merely sighed before picking up his hooves. He didn't know...

As Caiesm continued, he saw a familiar fanged, furry face. The wave he gave was humorous and made the General chuckle lightly before he stopped on the docks and turned to his escorts. "I can handle my own bearings from here stallions. Go about your assigned duties," he ordered kindly. Each of the guards cave out a hearty salute with serious nods before turning and doing as instructed. "So much officialism...I almost forgot what it was like." Caiesm shook his head before taking off his cap and brushing back his mane. He then turned back in the direction of Dark Wing with a friendly smirk as he began walking to him. The ponies he passed all saluted with a courteous 'sir' and nod until Caiesm was out of their area. It wasn't long before he came upon Dark Wing in a friendly distance.

Caiesm looked to the bat pony in a somewhat shamed manner, inspecting Dark's cloak. "My friend, you hide who you really are. You will catch fever in that suffocating attire," nodded the general before removing the cloak from Dark himself, exposing the bat pony's features. Caiesm then folded the cloak and returned it back to his friend. "There, that is much more official for a newly instated Lieutenant." The black stallion hoped he hadn't been sudden with Dark Wing but grinned all the same with the news for his friend.

"Do not worry about the morale or my supposed sympathies towards a bat pony. You are a Lieutenant of the Prench forces and thusly you are charged to be such." The dark stallion then stopped Dark Wing with a soft hoof before looking into his eyes seriously. Forge woke up a little eralier then usual. 'Why am I awake so early? Did something wake me?' It was then he heard a snore from the main forgery area and the events of the previous night came rushing back to him. He jumped to his hooves and unconciously grabbed his hammer. He then looked at it and realized he'd just grabbed it. 'I guess the fact that I'm still alive makes him a little more trustworthy...' Forge puts the hammer down and grabs the key from the hiding place. He goes out and unlocks his door after checking to make sure the stranger and all his wares were still there. He starts to heat up a small breakfast when there's an explosin. The stranger jumps up in the air and screams then falls on the floor. Forge watches this with a neutral expression on his face, but a small light of amusement dances in his eyes. He see's cards go flying everywhere and sets his food down to help the stranger clean up the mess. "There's breakfast ready on the table. Not much, but it's hot." after the cards were cleaned up, Forge extends a hoof. "We were never introduced last night. Name's Forge." He pauses expectantly.

Here is my ponysona Lee! An interesting character, by all accounts.

The split minded adventurer David Pocket is here with Poe to keep him company. (Both in need of very heavy editing :/ )

@@Skycoaster,

"You became what you are because of your own making Dark...nothing more," Caiesm nodded before following the bat ponies antics with his eyes. "I suppose it would be in my best interest to board wouldn't it?" The General began making his way with firm steps up the ramp to the port side of the Juggernaut, taking in a deep breath as he knew once his hooves touched the deck, it would be his end of the life as a simple pony. Suddenly, an overwhelming amount of sadness took Caiesm as he looked back to the southwest, over the tree and hilltops. 'How can you be home, when you are in my heart...Flower...my love...?'

Clearing his throat and mind, Caiesm shook his head and touched the firm maple railing of the ship as his hooves touched down. The stallion knew every portion of the ship for it had been his home for many years. There was no better Captain of the Juggernaut than Caiesm. Many of his friends had died upon her and their blood still seeps in her wood. She was their legacy. Caiesm rubbed the wood once more before whispering: "Here we are again my lass..." He then looked to the bow of the ship, seeing the river that would carry them to sea. "Let us bring Prance that pot of gold aye?"

Dark Wing's words only slightly surprised him as the other crew members simply saluted and continued preparing the ship. The General nodded to his friend. "I like your ears my friend, not only are they going to serve our vessel well but as will your eyes of the night," Caiesm pointed out with a chuckle before pointing his head to the right. "My quarters are below the deck at the stern of the ship. Pray you don't mind I wished your presence in my quarters as well. Our lady Juggernaut doesn't exactly carry a room for Lieutenants," he laughed, remembering his commander once saying the same thing to him.

"You have to establish the horizon. You have to mark the white. A simple enough act, you might say, but any act that re-makes the world is heroic. Or so I've come to believe."

@@Aerodynas,

Dark Wing

Dark Wing smiled at Caiesm. "I'll head down below than. I believe my I am not needed till Dusk, right sir?" as Dark Wing turned to head below deck. A few of the ponies backed away, others gave him a glare. Dark Wing decides to have a bit of fun with them, giving them a grinning smile, making sure to emphasis his fangs to at least get a kick out of there reaction. He would give the crew of the ship a reason to respect him, or fear him. It would be their choice, though he perfected respect.

Dark Wing opened the door to the quarters, laying his few possessions on the bed. His cloak, his uniform, and a picture of him and his mother. He put them away, and put the picture in a place of pride as he climbed on the bed and began to relax, closing his eyes.

He had not read what he had signed up for, only knowing he was fallowing his friend and commanding officer, Casiem.

(OOC: wow, nopony has posted in forever, I shall for I have not in so long)

Rut-Light continued to sleep, his large, spacious mansion making not a single peep, nothing at all made a sound save for the old ponies snoring. He lay there at his desk with his hoof still wrapped around his head lightly as he snored away with his head laying flat on his desk, the old, brown, hard covered journal he had written in not twenty minutes before he had fallen a sleep, was acting as his pillow. The book was closed tightly, the ink pen he used to write the latest entry in the journal was laying near the far corner of the hard wood desk, having rolled over there in due time. The outside wind wasn't howling, but it was blowing strongly enough to make the tree branches whip around wildly like a crazed manticore; but despite this, Rut-Light still slept soundly.

Sai was below deck, keeping herself with the masses in the belly of the ship rather than the masses above her. She had a small cough, which no one noticed down below, but the officers on the deck surely would have, and they would have sent her off the ship since they were still docked to the land.
She needed to stay on this boat, it was probably the only way she was ever going to get a good source of food. Love was the main and primary source of feed for a changeling, but ever since her much younger days she's day to find other sources and be close to them in order to get the food she needed. Changelings could feed off any emotion, if they were desperate enough, and a ship had plenty emotions like fear and sickness, courage and braveness, respect and admiration, it was a perfect place since all of those were there in plentiful amounts, so she could take a feed when she was able and probably would never be noticed.

But she had secured her place on the ship by being a ship hand, one of the few roles on the boat that wasn't taken up by officers, and was ignored enough so that she was ignored enough as it was. There were a few other ship hands, in fact there were enough so that there were two shifts in which one could take. She had taken the night shift, as it would be harder for the ponies on the ship to see at night, and then at those times she could release the disguise she had on herself for a few hours. Changing was exhausting, it made her weaker and need to feed more, but in her original form she could relax a little more. If she could do that often on the ship then she would be fine for the long travel ahead.
Though there was a disturbance in the area that she was staying in, the others around her seemed uncomfortable and disturbed. So Sai wanted to see what had gotten them all riled up, and when she followed everyone else's gaze she could see that they were all staring at a bat pony walking by to a cabin quarters.
Though while everyone around her was glaring at the stallion in fear or hate, Sai looked on in wonder. She had never seen a bat pony before, and before he had disappeared into the quarters where he would probably be staying in, she catalogued all the features she could see. He had fangs and wings, and his ears were different too, and it was absolutely fascinating to her.
She had never seen a bat pony before, but she had heard of them before, and she knew from the stories told to her that they were usually night creatures. It took her mere seconds to release that the Bat pony would probably be on the night watch, which meant that she would be able to study him while she worked.
And if she could find a safe spot on the ship, she may even try out and practice shifting into a bat pony version of herself.

But she could not do that now, she would have to wait till later.

(edited)

The smell of the fresh river water breeze filled Caiesm's nostrils welcomingly as he slowly made his way to the afterdeck. The Juggernaut was one mammoth of a pony of war, armed with a monstrous total of 100 guns (almost all 32 pounders) and a possible crew capacity of almost 875 ponies. She was in her prime and a pinnacle of which all ships wished to one day reach. The captain before Caiesm had spent his whole fortune into her creation, the sails alone being almost twice the size of a regular pony of war's in addition to there being a total of ten. There was a reason his ship would be the one leading the Prench armada in the invasion of the unsuspecting Equestria.

The General nodded to the Master on command who gave a loud whistle to signal preparations to cast off from port. Already the flag bearers were signalling the other ships in the harbor who reciprocated in the same manner. "Set our course through Germaneigh and till the river finds it's bay. We don't stop til we reach Trottingham," he stated proudly before watching the sails unfurl. There was a good midland wind, enough to get the Juggernaut moving. She was meant as a sea vessel...but Prance styled their ships in knowledge that they'd have to pass through river first. Trottingham was just waiting on the horizon to the south. They'd be there by the next day.

Caiesm gruffly supervised as everything went underway, glancing back to the mainland for a brief second of grief. No...I must be strong...Coughing shortly, he left his post in search to find Dark Wing. His friend had never been on the ship before and noting the fact that he shared his quarters, a friendly welcome could ensue until he had to retire.

After the General descended to the first deck, he was immediately met with a few salutes. Most of the ponies were above in eager expectancy to find their sailing dreams. He was about to turn to go into his quarters when he recognized a curious female deckhand. Strange...a mare on a warship? Caiesm's curiosity soon took hold as he proceed to her, trying to make his presence known so he wouldn't surprise her. "Good evening madam..."
