What Emotional Plot Lines You Would Like to See Become A Reality?

there's more to her character than just fashion and funny, over-dramatic moments.

Oh, no doubt about that, in my book Rarity has been tied with Twilight for best pony for ages.

But I don't really see any potential for "serious" drama between her and her parents without coming off as forced:

A vertical slice episode of Rara growing u,focussing on her being different from the rest of the family (a la Lisa Simpson) with lots of scenery chewing and a soppy "Well, of course we love each other; we're family" moral? Sign me up.

An episode about how Rarity grew up depressed because her parents wanted to force her to be something she's not? Yeah, not buying it.

They FINALLY talk about Ma & Pa Apple?

Come ON, Hasbro. Even the little girls are curious or have put two and two together by now.

An episode about Fluttershy's abusive past on why she's such an emotional mess. You don't get that way without something bad happening (even in a cartoon for little girls).

A better take on Spike trying to find out about his origins. Surely I'm not the only bothered how he set out to find out in "Dragon Quest"...then immediately gave up

Flashbacks showing how depressed and guilt ridden Celestia was about banishing Luna.

Scootaloo's parents. Seriously, what's up with that? That's even more murky than AJ's

How do you think WE feel?!

Didn't say she was being forced to be something she's not. Not once :D

Look at her parents; they seem to be the exact opposite of who she is and who she wants to be, based off of what we saw in Sisterhooves Social. Maybe that's what pushed her into having a desire to live in that glamorous, elegant lifestyle that she yearns for? Her disdain for, not her parents, but her parent's lifestyle? I can honestly picture her being the one trying to make change to them, not the other way around, but giving us some extra development in terms of her relationship with her parents has been something I've wanted to see since Sisterhooves Social :D

Now, keep in mind the topic at hand here; "What Emotional Plot Lines You Would Like to See Become A Reality?" :D

It doesn't have to necessarily mean everyone wants to see it, it's what you would like to see happen, and given the fact what I want to see has the potential to be an emotional plotline, I feel that it's a reasonable post.

In any case, I've made my reasons for wanting to see that and why this is an acceptable post in this topic crystal clear, I believe :D

Pristinely so, but it still only amounts to the same old it's okay to be different morale we've had a bunch of times before.

And I don't think that having Rarity's passion for fashion coming from a place of resentment would be a good idea.

You're an evil person.

In all seriousness, I'd agree that the fate of AJ's parents has to happen.

There should also be a video-game centric episode.  Every US animated show has to have an episode commenting on the gamer community.

I'm with everyone when it comes to Scootaloo, I really want to see what her honelife is like, and quite frankly I'm sick of the morbidly depressing fanon surrounding her, I don't want any orphan or abusive parent/s. At the very least, FttF showed us that she lives in a normal house(inb4 orphanage)

On that tangent, I think it's time we finally saw Fluttershy and Rainbow's family. The closest we ever saw to any main pegasuses having family is seeing RD's dad in a flashback(and if you ask me, I like the idea of her being raised by a single father)

I would like to see Trixie return, and at first she's still harboring some resentment for what happened in the past. Like in a certain fanfic, I want Trixie to show Twilight her memories, so she can see everything she went through, then Trixie would yell "do you see?!" or something like that. Then, Twilight immediately puts her arms around Trixie and hugs her, and tells her that everything is forgiven, and eventually, Trixie ends up sending a letter to Princess Celestia. Something like: Dear Princess Celestia. Your faithful student, Twilight Sparkle, taught me a valuable lesson today. She taught me that sometimes, those who we push furthest away, can actually be our best friends. We shouldn't hold on to petty grudges, but instead, be honest with each other, and don't be afraid to tell your friends what's wrong. Your faithful subject, Trixie.

An episode centered on Applejack's parents, and how it was the life on Sweet Apple Acress before they Died went missing

Let's think about it for a second...

Who didn't thinked on Applejack's parents before? As far as we know,on "Apple Family Reunion",every member of the Apple Family was present,But her parents...

At the end of the same episode,we see 2 shooting stars and Applejack looking at them.Does that mean that her parents are dead/missing?We can't know... -_-

But imagine an episode, where, due for certain events,Applejack and the family starts to think on what happened with them, years before...

Wouldn't that create a more emotional plot?

Personally,I would love to see someday an answer to that question:

Where are,or What happened with Applejack,Big Macintosh and Applebloom's parents?

Scootaloo finding out she really can't fly. It could be heart wrenching to see her go through that pain but also heart warming to see her come to grips with it. It would speak out to a lot of people with disabilities in my opinion. Otherwise I think it's getting a little old that she still cannot fly.
