I had actually clicked on your profile with partial disbelief because I have not heard mention of Country Joe and the Fish or Buffy Sainte- Marie in years.   They were favorites of mine a long long time ago.

Buffy Sainte-Marie especially - what an incredible musician.

Thank you for jogging the old memory.

As for peace songs, I know some great ones that I like but heck if I remember the names.  I'll post again if I do!

I know how you feel, Old folk musicians will all have a special place in my heart (Donovan, Incredible string band, Bob Dylan) because they remind me of an old friend. :D

I'm guessing you liked a lot of 60's musicians when you were younger? Care to share some of your favorites? :3

Judy Collins, Peter Paul and Mary, Donovan, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Joni Mitchell.  Can't remember too many more at the moment but I was very into the folk scene.  I haven't thought of most of these in a very long time.

Bob Dylan was actually not a favorite but I had the pleasure of attending the Grammy Awards a few years ago and he performed and it was great fun to see him again.  Heck that year Barbra Streisand and Mick Jagger did the Grammy's as well besides the current hit artists.  It was great.

I don't think you'll be disappointed when you check him out! It's good folk music.

Another reason I love him so much is that I can relate to him, Being shy and such, It's good music or those type of people! :)

Life's a garden man, you just gotta dig it.

You just gotta keep on keeping on.

Points to anyone that gets the reference.
