Sure! That muffin + your use of "spice it up" + early-morning hunger has me thinking about a spice cake or streussel. Ugh! But anyway, I'll work on it when I get back from class. I already have an idea to use more of her cutie mark bubbles as toppings on the muffin! Right now, it reminds me of a lighter-brown Hostess cupcake! WHICH...I'm now craving as well! Thanks a lot @! haha

 

Thanks once more, @, which one did you like best? That one was a PAIN to detail! -_- When I put the original into my editor, everything had tiny little colors, and with all that surface area around her wings, it took forever! haha. Once I got that done, coloring it the different ways was just fun!

Also, guys, do you think i should put like, a bubble wand there?

Thanks once more, @The Ancaster Brony, which one did you like best? That one was a PAIN to detail!  When I put the original into my editor, everything had tiny little colors, and with all that surface area around her wings, it took forever! haha. Once I got that done, coloring it the different ways was just fun!

I'd agree. Seeing them together definitely helps show that the first one is less cluttered. (Perhaps the second one wouldn't look so cluttered if I made the muffin and bubbles smaller...whatever. The first one is simple and straightforward--not to mention, done. haha

 

As for stalking...no. Though I may be subconsciously psychic...

 

But really, upon seeing your combo of her bubble + muffin, I knew I just had to find a good picture of her precious muffin, then pasted a bubble over each topping (whatever they were) and trimmed it up, then dyed them the appropriate color!

At first, I liked the second one, but when I saw it again, I decided that the first one was better because it was less cluttered.

Well, just in case my idea worked, I shrunk the muffin by 40% and here's the result for the new second version:

 

I think I still am liking the first one better though.

Oh and here's a slightly smaller muffin for the first flag.

@, Most definitely. I was so stinkin' tired last night as I posted it that I just kind of stopped. Shouldn't be a hassle since I already smoothed out the CMC crest. I just need to trace out Scootaloo and her scooter for sure. I'm revitalized now so I'll fix it in a little bit and then I think I'll work something out for Sweetie Belle. I think hers is going to be the trickiest though.

I use pre-existing pictures I find on Google, then I load them into Paint, size them, then I change all the colors so I can trim them properly, then I dye them the proper colors once it's all smoothed out. Here's what I did to Trixie's cutie mark working on a second variation.

 

*Notice the custom MLP icons for my Google tabs! XD

 

I'm currently changing all that blue to green, and then I'll be erasing the black and orange from the edges. Once I finish all that, I'll take a picture from the show and color it properly again.

 

Some of the more complex flags I've worked at 800% zoom, coloring one pixel at a time. I'm starting to use faster methods though that are turning out just as nice.

 

As for your Trixie flag, I like it! It could be smoothed of course, but I only briefly considered her cape earlier today. You'll see my super-simple one here in a minute or two. I started working on a 2nd version including the Alicorn Amulet (the second version is the one I took that ^^^ picture of)

I wouldn't be able to either! Find one on Google, then trim it up and modify it! That's why mine are all so crisp and accurate-looking. Think of it as a collage. I'm not good enough to draw most things from scratch! But I think I'm a pretty good editor!

 

But by all means, do Lyra! I have been racking my brain for ideas for weeks, but haven't been able to think of anything useful!
