I was watching the Pokémon Anime.

 

I saw an episode of each generation. And then I can't believe he is capable of.

He keeps changing girlfriends every time he changes region (except Jolto)

It's like you have girlfriend here and then you have girlfriend there. He has like 5 of them already!

And He just friend zoning them?

He is luckier than most of us single men here and he is just 10 years old!

Firstly, they're not his 'girlfriends'. They're just friends, who are also girls.
He's not friendzoning them. In fact, I doubt he both acknowledges their apparent attraction to him, and knows what friendzoning is. Ash has always been about Pokemon, and considering his permanent ten-year-old status, he will likely forever be about Pokemon.
To my knowledge, only Misty and Serena have ever actually had an attraction towards him.

Yeah, Ash is a bit young (I hear he actually aged for once though?) and probably just doesn't have the ability to care about all the kinda cute girls he keeps ending up traveling with. Given the amount of time he hangs around Brock though (is he still in the series even?) it's probably the case that he'll grow up into a ladies man. Monkey see monkey do, even if said monkey is normally kind of oblivious as shit.

What can I say shippers and R34 artists take a little bit and really run with it. There hasn't been any romantic attraction shown on either end in any of those relationships and I doubt there will be but I suppose it can be fun sometimes to let imaginations run wild.

I just looked it up because this thread sparked my curiosity and apparently his current female companion in the XY anime actually has a canon crush on him? Interesting move by the studio, to finally give him at least a one sided love interest after lord knows how many seasons of avoiding that at all costs.

I think a better question, is when the heck is Ash gonna go through puberty. Seriously, is this guy some sort of unaging immortal ten year old? It's been like 700 episodes and over 30 movies. It's had to have been years!
