Zekira G. Drake 50 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 Well, let me get straight to the point. I was answering an exam earlier and the test was extremely long. Obviously you'll get bored after an hour or two if you know that the test isn't hard but it just has a huge amount of questions. So I started lightly singing the theme song, but because it was an exam environment, pindrops can be herd. Maybe halfway through my singing, I heard another voice singing the same part I was. I couldn't turn around to see who it was due to it being an exam obviously, but I was definitely sure that there was someone else. Maybe around a few more minutes later after we were done singing the theme song, I heard someone ELSE sing the first line of Winter Wrap Up... and someone else for the next line, and the next... well, light enough so it wouldn't be disturbing to the room, but audible enough for me to catch on... there are at LEAST 6 people who watch MLP in the same room.... It was getting dark when I finished the test though, so I wasn't able to ask who were the people going along the tunes... but still, I think I just had my first RL brony encounter, albeit in a very discreet manner. Now I'm curious; how about you guys? Have you had these amazingly coincidental encounters before? This is the first time it happened to me (well because I haven't been in the fandom for more than a month yet), so I really couldn't contain my smile... epic stuff right here... 6 Also known as Wolfahya, White Wolf. The most I've seen was a girl in Walmart with a Rainbow Dash shirt on. I think your encounter was awesome! I want to be in your place one day and have that happen to me. Inkfeather 597 March 14, 2012 Share March 14, 2012 I was casually sitting in the bus on my way home from school. I had forgotten that I was wearing my t-shirt with a big image of Rainbow Dash. This random guy walks up to me and asks "So, what do you think of the newest episode?", it have to be said that it was monday so the episode was still fairly new, and I just looked confused at him for a couple of seconds before actually catching what he was trying to ask. Before I could answer to what I thought he might have meant he pointed to my shirt and stretched out his hand for a knucklebump just before he asked questioningly "Brohoof?" A great smile spread on my lips and I answered his greating whereafter we used the rest of the bus trip to talk about MLP. Another time was at my school, this time I was the one to initiate an encounter. I saw two guys watching pony art on deviantART, they were watching a vector of Ditzy Doo, as I prefer to call her. While I was ringing in the people ahead of them, I overheard their conversation about Derpy destroying town hall, and how it should be blamed on Mayor Mare for being cheap with the construction budget. And then they discussed Discord () I wanted to brohoof them or something, but my boss was around and it would have been totally random. I was going to see a movie with my best friend and as I was walking in, I heard the Cutie Mark Crusaders' Hearts and Hooves Day song coming from one of their iPods. I didn't go talk to them, but I'm sure they knew I was a fellow brony because I had my Derpy satchel and when I took off my sweater I was wearing one of my Rainbow Dash shirts. My teacher there is a total boss...he basically does whatever the hell he wants, regardless of the school rules, he even swears and sometimes goes on those anonymizer sites just to go on YT and play some funny videos. I still remember the day when he played the first episode of Dick Figures on his projector... Ok, rambling aside, again a few months ago, I was sitting in my 3rd period class, and that day I forgot to pick out my clothes the night before, so I just grabbed a shirt out of my closet, oblivious to whatever it was. When the class was around half over, he took a glance over at my side of the room, and stared at me for a few seconds. Then he called me up to his desk, and I was nervous as hell, but then he whispered something in my ear... "Pinkie Pie is best pony..." And then sent me back to my desk. In the bustling halls I get to my class as fast as possible, brushing any dolts walking on their left away. When someone's t-shirt caught my eye who was going the opposite direction as me! I turned and did a double-triple take, I coulda sworn I saw something familiar... That lunch I walked through the hall to find the same guy sitting with a few of his friends, eating. I had known he was one for a while, but since I didnt really know him I wasnt sure how to contact him. So friending him on Facebook with my DJ-Pon 3 profile picture was my best idea for what to do. I guess we'll meet up tomorrow Then again, I guess that doesnt have to do with unintential spotting In that case no, that really hasnt happened to me.
