It is 200 years into the future of Equestria. Thanks to newfound understandings of magic and the sciences, advancements in technology and industry have increased dramatically. The world has become advanced, innovative. But that doesn't mean that crime and chaos in Equestria have come to a complete halt;  and one such particular crime has caught the eye of the Royal Sisters: a notorious unicorn serial killer, located in an large underground, labyrinth-like bunker/laboratory somewhere in the outskirts of futuristic Ponyville famous for kidnapping innocent bystanders and using his magic to experiment with the victims' minds, altering it, making them see things... monsters, horrifying evil beings and demonic creatures that no sane person would ever imagine in their head. Then he sends them out into the labyrinth that is his fortress, observing them and watching them slaughter each other as they think they are fighting off the creatures in their head; only to be revived with the killer's magic and do it again. The Royal Sisters know this needs to be stopped, so they decide to bring back a once abandoned experimental task force: The Black Phoenixes; an elite mercenary squad of six individuals, who are chosen by the Princesses specifically for this mission.

You and five others have been specifically chosen by Celestia to operate within the Black Phoenix squad. You have been given the best weapons and supplies, as well as the best gear for the job, and will be sent to find this serial killer and bring him to Canterlot, dead or alive. Simple, direct, just go in and go out. Nothing can go wrong...

RULES:


1. Absolutely no godmodding
2. No mary-sues/gary-stus

3. Keep it 18+
4. Of course there will be violence in this, just don't go too overboard with it
5. You can find supplies in the bunker, such as medkits, ammo, etc., but don't do things like: "There were a thousand medkits in one room."
6. Alicorns are allowed, just don't make them too OP or anything
7. Have fun!
When you submit your oc, you must pick a class. Each class has a codename, which you may need to use to refer to your comrades.<
Classes are as follows:

 Class: Leader Codename: Ares  Taken by: Raze (me)
Overall brains of the operation, exceptional combat and planning skill on the battlefield. A quick-thinker, and a sharp shooter, the leader knows how to guide his fellow companions to victory
Standard equipment: Combat Assault Rifle, Combat Pistol, Knife,
(This class will be taken by me)

 

2. Class: Tank   Codename: Sentinel Taken by: Agririon (Nyx Assassin)
You operate solely on sheer strength and brutality. Not only can you give, but you can also take a hit. Or two. Or a hundred.
 Due to this, you can be a key member to the squad when it comes to protecting those who might need your assistance.

Standard equipment: Heavy Machine Gun, Magnum, Bowie Knife
 Special equipment: R.A.G.E (Ravenous Adrenal Gland Enhancer) Formula. Activates and boosts the amount of adrenaline in your body by 110%, allowing you to lift heavy objects and take even more of a beating than usual.

3. Class: Sniper  Codename: Hawk Taken by: Fire Sharp (Racal61)
This class is an expert marksman from afar and prefers to keep it that way, although you are still capable of close combat if you are put in that situation.

 Standard Equipment: High powered sniper rifle, Sub-machine gun, Combat Knife
 Special Equipment: High-powered optic visor: The helmet that you wear is equipped with a specialized optic visor that can zoom in farther than the standard sniper scope, and is also has thermal, infrared, and nightvision modes (for the design, think of Garrus's from Mass Effect)

4. Class: Stealth Codename: Phantom   Taken by: Blue Optyx (Blue Optyx)
This class can easily infiltrate behind enemy lines, and take out those that least suspect it.

 Standard equipment: Dual silenced sub-machine guns, Silenced pistol, shinobigatana
Special equipment: Stealth Suit: Your combat armor is specifically modified with silenced boots and a special cloaking field that makes you invisible to enemies.


5. Class: Medic   Codename: Priest/Priestess (if OC is mare)  Taken by: Glory (Pripyat Pony)
You are the one many people will rely on when it comes to healing and treatment of serious wounds.

Standard Equipment: Machine Pistol, Regular Pistol, Combat Knife
Special Equipment: 2 extra medkits
Nanomachine Injector: Injects patient with nanomachines that fix major wounds, knit flesh together, and kickstart heart if it is in critical condition.

6. Class: Hacker Codename: Grey Hat  Taken by: Onyx Nightwing (Grapz224)

 Future technology isn't perfect! With this class, you'll be able to easily take over machines such as sentry turrets and open special doors that require passcodes

 Standard equipment: Submachine Gun, Pistol, Combat Knife
 Special equipment: Digital Hacking Tool: Your suit comes equipped with a special holographic, wireless hacking interface that allows you to hack objects from a distance. It is also able to release a EMP signal, rendering machines like sentry turrets useless.

NOTE: All classes get 2 hand grenades/flashbangs
All classes get 2 medkits

Now, believe it or not, this is part horror, psychological to be exact. How, you may ask? You'll soon see....

Hello! I was asked to co-DM by this fellow WHO I KNOW BY A DIFFERENT NAME.

 

I will be playing the Tank as a grumpy old Agririon, the Aspect of Death, who is uncomfortable with these new-fangled 'guns' and 'armor'. These new items are... well... new.

I don't see a problem with the character. In fact, it's a pretty good fit.

 

Did you know that it was scientifically proven that a female makes a better sniper than a male, since they are able to control their breather better? I found that interesting.

 

So we have 2 stallions, 2 mares (assuming that Twisted doesn't have a problem with it), and a pony-wraith.

 

Fun times have been sensed. :D

Err... the character needs some work before I'd be willing to get it into the roleplay. Not to be mean, but there is a distinct lack of... effort in this character. Do you mind working on it some more?

Any open slots? I'd like to join with soul or "shadow"(I'm thinking of changing his name to Onyx or something) as anything, really.

 

Basics: Soul is a retired Royal guard, scarred by combat experience. Shadow/Onyx is a changeling who uses sneaky tricks and deceit.

For those who do not want to read, a summery:

 

A changeling who left The Changeling empire, he roams Equestria as a traveling sales Pony. He takes on many forms and goes by false names, basically living in hiding. He is sneaky and light on his feet. It will take time for him to adjust to new ponies before he reveals his secret.

For this RP (since it's the future) he learned how to hack and program things as a form of training from the Changelings. he uses this knowledge to repair Machine Parts and sell them. (since he has to be "Royally known") One of his forms; Spark Machine (yellow pony, Blue mane, cutie mark of a computer) sells Machines to the Royal Alicorns.

Well this will be fun. I just looked at everyones OC... Onyx, I think, will be right at home... we've got the Prophetic Glory (Yes, hi Pripyat. I assume you'll play almost the same style as before?), a pony with better aim than the tf2 sniper, a reckless leader (thats how it appears to me), Death himself, Optix (who I can't really make anything of... Very little information about his personality), and me, a changeling who doesn't trust anypony.

 

oh boy, this will play out interestingly.
