Zecora Deserves A Full Episode in Season 5...

I've always really enjoyed Zecora's character, so if the writers could pull off an episode full of rhymes, I'd be all for an episode centered around the mysterious zebra.

 

She's the only zebra revealed in the show to date, and I am honestly quite curious about her race and where she originates. It'd be interesting to see an Africa-based locale where the zebra race resides. To date, Zecora has always been a bit of a plot device who pops whenever it's convenient to throw in a new spell, potion or form of magic. I admire the fact that she's always been really helpful to the Mane Six, but I feel her character could benefit from some development. I wouldn't want an episode that detracts from the Mane Six completely, but I don't see why they couldn't pull a Luna Eclipsed and have Twilight or some other pony share the spotlight with Zecora for just one episode.

I would like to see more of her character and background filled out more. Seriously more details about Zecora's life would be interesting, homeland, culture, how she goes about potion making. A full episode would be perhaps difficult to fully pull off but I would like to welcome it.  Though a more realisitic situation is that she ends up playing major support character for an episode, and I would like that too.

Zecora will get more screen time seeing how the plot of Twilight Kingdom turns out. Once that castle is occupied, the Everfree Forest area around it will be developed for pony habitation. Lots of snob ponies will move in to live in the new area first. Zecora will be driven out of her home.

Zecora is a pretty great character and it's a shame she doesn't appear very much in the show. She should get her own episode, but the Mane Six probably should be an important role in the episode too.

I would completely support this idea, and be surprised if Hasbro hasn't thought of it already. I think we will get an episode dedicated to Zecora someday, hopefully in Season 5!

Zecora needs one in Season 7 at the very least. I'm also wondering what happened to Mayor Mare since Twilight became princess and resides around Ponyville. Wonder if that would make her a bit nervous.
