There should be rewards for bronies who answer a certain number of Life Advice section. They should get a medal or something on theyre page.

 

 

Also, you should have a contest for "nicest brony" at the end of the year...

Would be nice but then you run the risk of people just posting to get points and not genuinely trying to help the TC's issue.

People should only post in there if there is a genuine interest in helping the people who ask for it, coming up with a rewards system sounds great but in addition to running the risk DocX mentioned would also run the risk of people saying whatever they think the OP wants to hear instead of what they need to hear and in some cases bad advice can be even worse than no advice at all.

As nice as it sounds, getting mods to moderate such a contest will turn it into a competition, so it might not be the best thing for the forums.

I think bringing smile on someone's face is enough reward. Such things would bring people who do not intend to help someone but just want to "look cool" in that section and it's not best thing for people who are seeking help. It might go to the point where someone will just give some random advices that will not even be helpful just to get a "reward" and in more severe cases it might even make things worse for the one who needs help. Let's leave Life Advice in it's current form. It does not really require any changes and is serving its purpose well already.
