What exactly happens when you break a Pinkie Promise?

Most fanfic reports mention that any Pinkie Pie will violently attack (or even kill in some scenarios) the perpetrator or violator. Pinkie Pies rarely forgive them.
Now, say Mr. X made that Pinkie Promis, but "accidentally"/secretly broke it (for the lulz). Now he notices the Pinkie wailing in anger, screaming and pursuing him, catching him out of nowhere.

 

I am currently studying a Pinkie Pie's average behaviour. Can you describe what exactly happens  when that specific Pinkie Pie catches him at last?

Well, let's see... Breaking a Pinkie Promise is the worst possible thing you could ever do. Pinkie will hunt you down day and night. And when she finds you...let's just say you will wish you were never BORN! Pinke will make you suffer. She will chain you to the wall the make you watch her torture your loved ones. Then, she will kill them and use their organs to bake cupcakes. Then she will force feed you the cupcakes. Pinkie will show you how bad it is to break a Pinkie Promise. She will ensure your death is a slow and painful one. But not until after she tortures you in ways that are unspeakable. She will chain you to the floor next to an ant pile. She will watch the ants slowly eat you alive. Then she will chain you to an electric chair and torture you for hours. Finally, she will cut you up and watch you slowly bleed to death, laughing maniacally.

 

So, yeah. It's best not to break a Pinkie Promise

When Pinkie Pie thought Applejack broke one, she demended an apology. 

 

When Rarity broke one, she did nothing. I think that was continuity error, though. She Pinkie Pie Promised not to keep any secrets from Fluttershy, but she kept what she was doing in Canterlot a secret from Fluttershy anyways. 

 

I think Pinkie Pie would only demand an apology. Ponies don't break Pinkie Promises because they know Pinkie Pie knows every pony, and that alone can make them afraid to even consider breaking it. The most she would do is stop being their friend.
