Thats what I thought

 

As far as I'm concerned, Pinkie is an Apple.

Goldie Delicious' defiance of physics with the stack of books echoed Pinkie's earlier instance with Twilight's scrolls. I interpreted this as one of those family quirks

Also they both have farm backgrounds and are the ponies who have thus far demonstrated the most emphasis on family values.

I've always wanted to know if the Apple family and Pie family had a marriage that never went through. I wouldn't know, but it would be interesting to hear about unprotected sex in MLP, or at least imply it.
Then again, that wouldn't be possible considering the rank of the show, so let's just say "You don't want to know."
