Well thats the whole point of this scenario. I know in most cases the government would probably snatch up the ponies, perform cruel experiments or possibly kill them.

 

But just for the sake of the thread, its totally "what if"  scanerio with the government accepted the ponies after their discovery and decided they are intelligent, sapient and beautiful beings that should be treated with respect. Then how would you plan your future life with the ponies since they may never return to equestria and have lost their magical abilities besides strength and flight?

Eh idk if they worry a lot and it doesn't stop for days (crying and stuff) then I'll figure out a way. If they don't cry much or eventually not care then FUN FUN FUN!

 

I'd draw, paint, do crafts, decorate the room, play the piano, rehears acting, sing, and dance with Rarity (ps. she'd be living with me )

I'd get on Rainbow Dash and fly, then I'd bring her to my friend's (who loves her) house and run back home as fast as I can

I'd show Fluttershy all the ("non-harmful") animals we have here and see if she can actually talk to them (she might also live with me.... MIGHT although I might bring her to where RD is so she's not "alone")

I'd go to a farm with Applejack and do some really fun stuff, ride horses (well I guess I'd be riding horses XD), and bake pies ^-^, tell stories, etc. (deff would live with me)

I'd have a fun time talking with Twilight but um... I wouldn't go to a library with her... just saying although I'd ask her for help with my homework hehe ( I have this friend that has a crush on her I would bring her to him)

I'd introduce Pinkie Pie to my friends and then run

Losing magical abilities is a major effect, but magic is more of a personal/natural ability. So I don't see how they would suddenly loose a natural instinct, taking away magic from a unicorn is very critical, but not possible, it's an important necessity. And yes, I know there has been some episodes where the unicorns weren't able to use magic, but that was done by magic itself, science cannot simply take away an ability someone has that's beyond science.

Oh, come on, this is not some kind of dictatorship. The government would never do that. Well, again, it depends which government you're talking about. A civilised country would never do that.

They cannot get their abilities back in our universe as it defies the laws of physics. They only abilities they have is streghth and flight. Like in said before in this scenario the only way they can have magical abilities is if they are returned to eqestria which requires harnessing the power of stars for the energy needed to create a stargate like portal to warp space to send them back to their universe. As this is very unlikly to happen in the near future. You most likly are stuck with the ponies if you decide to let them stay with you.

Ok, then I'd find someone who'd want to take Rainbow Dash and Celestia, because I don't like either one...and Fluttershy (her fans are kinda irritating me). I'd probably enjoy having Pinkie, Twilight, and AJ around easy. Rarity would probably think i'm nuts, but maybe she could make me some cool clothes lol.

Based on the many height comparisons I have seen it is safe to say most of the ponies even an Alicorn is smaller than a horse on Earth and smaller than alot of average humans.

 

Heights for Celestia for example range from 4.10ft to 6ft tall on all fours. Based on the many height charts I have seen I have averaged out that most likely the tallest being Celestia ranges from 5ft to 5.8ft tall. Most images are really all speculation with many comparisons and formulas. The exact heights of the ponies are unknown but its safe to assume they are not huge compared to real life horses on Earth.

Lol, I didn't know!  GXPBlast just educated me on the subject of pony proportions.  I just assumed she was enormous; Earth horse-sized or larger.  And I think of her more as a goddess than I do mere royalty.  Bigger = grander?

Personally, I like to imagine that regular ponies are about the size of Celestia (little smaller) in that picture with that lucky anon, and Celestia would be about two maybe three foot taller.

 

Or that ponies stand 4-5 feet on their hooves, but can come up to human height standing up straight, and Celestia would be 6ft on her hooves, coming up  to 7-8ft on her hind-legs.

 

...which isn't that big.

Well in the show all of the ponies at least the mane 6 are all the same height including in Equestria girls.

 

Twilight is a little bit taller than her friends since she became an Alicorn but is the smallest out of the other Alicorns.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But yeah the ponies including the Alicorns are not that large. Regular horses tower over them.  Like I showed before Celestia probably is at tallest 5.8ft on her hooves. Most likely I see her similar in the image with the human around 5.4ft including horn on her hooves.

 

This is just so you get an idea, I dont want this thread to turn into a height thread XD.

I'd still say to the ponies (sans Celestia) that if they don't get a job by the end of the month, I'd be kicking them out.

 

Unless, they could get by eating the grass in the front lawn. If that were the case, we would save money on hiring a mower.

If the ponies were stuck in the human world I would let them live in my house until I figure things out. I would also have to explain to my family what is going on because they live in the same house as me, not to mention that they don't like MLP. Worse still, there is no government in Equestria anymore so there probably would be an uproar there and the whole country would more than likely crash.

This scenario would suck for the ponies immensely. Even if the government and other people are reasonable (and the ponies do not have to hide forever) there would be big problems. Also, the Equestrian government just got decapitated and there's nobody to move the sun and moon (well, maybe Discord unless he tries to come here to save Fluttershy and gets stuck). So, after a while there may no longer be Equestria for the ponies to return to, even if a way is found to actually do it.

Also, more general problems like medicine - the closest pony (of those who decide to come) to a doctor is probably Fluttershy. I really doubt pony physiology is very similar to any real world animal, so, what if one of them gets sick? No real way for human doctors (and vets) to help them, if the disease is not extremely simple (medicine that works on humans or, say, real world ponies, could be poison to Equestrians).

While I would try to help them, I think they would be quite screwed.
