I went to my First Fur meet today. I got to meet a whole bunch of awesome furries and A few Bronies as well. Well I was there someone had a DJ set up going but it wasn't a full proper set up. It sounded nice but there was no way to preview the songs before playing it... I asked the man if I could take over for a bit so I could try it out in front of people for once. I finished reading the book "Into the Wild" by Jon Krakauer, and I'm really touched. Chris McCandless was just a amazing man. I saw the movie before I read the book sadly, but I cried after watching the movie and reading the book. His views on the world might be considered crazy by some, but I completely agree with him. Feld0's Poniverse Logo Contest seems to be going well. Some people have submitted logo concepts already, and I hope to see the results once done. (It ends on the 14th, so submit them quickly!) Crap. Didn't realize that by promising to do a movie review every week, starting last week, I'd have to do actual work. Hrrrrrmmmm. Well, I didn't get to go to the movies this week, partially because money is tight, and because I have little to no interest in the week's big new movie, The Great Gatsby. Star Trek Into Darkness is next week, so I'll be reviewing something recent next week. Probably. In the mean time, have a recommendation for a movie from January that just got a DVD release.

In my last blog post I said I found one brony which then turned into four. Now that is double true because at the beginning of the school year I had brought my 3DS to pass the time during the beginning of introductions. Yes, I'm talking about THE Equestria Girls. The one that seemingly everyone hates. I've heard some really weird excuses for people hating it. One member of a forum told me that Hasbro was doing to get Faust out of FiM for good so they can completely take over the show. Another excuse: It's not made by DHX, so it's gonna be horrible. Really? Don't get me wrong, I've heard some good excuses for it, too. I'm indifferent about it, personally, but it's just people like these that make me laugh.
