I know I don't usually review episodes in blog posts, but I am doing so this time because this episode has been very polarizing for the fandom, and is a pretty big deal. And also, because I have a fairly large amount to say.

so first a little information about this show, it first aired in 1967, the same year my dad was born (its no surprise he grew up watching it) around this time several other cartoons based around marvel comics were around, but none of them were as good, heck, they weren't really animation just comic book pages that had some movement, and the whole thing was narrorated, this show was the closest to an actual cartoon in the sense we are used to (that and the fantastic 4 cartoon that was running at

So today i was coming home from work when JackleApps Griffin Village Autumn. I then thought i wonder what it would be like to be Derpy. 1 hour later i was making paper machet wings with grey feathers from my African grey. She sheds her feathers a lot, so there were just enough to cover little spots. I then climbed up to my roof and strapped a wing to each arm. I yelled out "I'll get your mail to you on time!"

Derpy is back, she made an appearance in the finale! Maybe Hasbro doesn't hate us that much. And even if some people are offended, there is an easy fix.
Earlier today I was watching the BronyDoc on my kindle and my dad walks in and asks if we can watch it together later. I told him sure and I also got my mom to watch it. After finishing it they were really excited. They wanted to take me to a local Con and fund the whole thing as well as supply $200 for merch. I didn't expect any of this to happen so I am extremely happy about today's outcome. It really could not have gone better.
So it's nice to think that Stellafera likes Apple Family Reunion wholly because it's deeeeeep and has character development and whatnot, but that's not true. Contrary to what they forced me to say on that MLP Forums Conspiracy thread, I am human, after all. I don't like things just for logical reasons. Only about half of my appreciation for the episode is cerebral and thoughtful. The other half is APPLEJACK BEING AMAZINGLY AMAZING AT BEING AMAZING. AMAZINGLY.

Season three was like a haphazard dinner at a restaurant. You have a decent appetizer, then a scrumptious entrée, followed by an awful desert.
1 & 2. The Crystal Empire: Part one gave the season a great start. There were layers of great characterization amongst the Mane Six, notably Twilight Sparkle and Spike. The backstory of both King Sombra and the kingdom were also convincing, despite being brief. Its most notable drawbacks, however, were twofold (both in part 2):

So, I've been thinking. I say that I like Apple Family Reunion a lot, but I've never really said why I liked it before, have I? And, well, part of it is just that I like Applejack a whole lot, and this episode had a whole lot of Applejack. But, seeking more rational answers, I decided to review my third favorite episode in the entire series.

Season three has come and gone with Magical Mystery Cure. Initially, I said the episode was good, but its major pacing problems was why it was really weak. I rewatched it twice, and it's unfortunate to say that this episode is not only easily the weakest finale, but also the fourth out of five clunkers since Apple Family Reunion (even though it's easily the best of the four bad episodes).
Like I did with all of my other reviews, I'll display the strengths first.
1. The songs are incredib
So I watched the season 3 finale the infamous Twilight alicorn episode and I wanted to like it I really truly did as I have said before Twilight Sparkle is now tied with Applejack and Luna for best pony but it was the worst episode of not only this season but the entire series as a whole. While there has been the occasional episode that has disappointed me and the Chrystal Empire two parter is a good example of that largely because of the sad lack of character development for King Sombra who had

Even if I didn't get to watch Magical Mystery Cure when I wanted to (hate you too, sleep!) I still loved it more than any previous Season 3 episode. Why was I not pissed about the length, or the Twilicorn, or the ratio of songs to not songs in the ep? Here are a couple (by a couple I mean a ton) of reasons:
1) The pacing.
I seriously expected this episode to feel totally rushed as they tried to put too much story into 22 minutes of screen time, like Keep Calm and Flu
