Earlier today I was watching the BronyDoc on my kindle and my dad walks in and asks if we can watch it together later. I told him sure and I also got my mom to watch it. After finishing it they were really excited. They wanted to take me to a local Con and fund the whole thing as well as supply $200 for merch. I didn't expect any of this to happen so I am extremely happy about today's outcome. It really could not have gone better.
So it's nice to think that Stellafera likes Apple Family Reunion wholly because it's deeeeeep and has character development and whatnot, but that's not true. Contrary to what they forced me to say on that MLP Forums Conspiracy thread, I am human, after all. I don't like things just for logical reasons. Only about half of my appreciation for the episode is cerebral and thoughtful. The other half is APPLEJACK BEING AMAZINGLY AMAZING AT BEING AMAZING. AMAZINGLY.

Lets get this out of the way first. If you like chess and you have a 3ds get this game, it's very fun and can be very addicting
On the other side of the coin it's the most frustrating fire emblem game I've played yet not counting the sheer difficulty of the console games. So why is it the most frustrating and why does it make me want to throw my 3ds against the wall?
If you remember Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem the Sacred Stones sometimes reinforcements will arrive for the enemy and you'l
Sprocket once again posted an awesome message of hope and community on the "Real Men Watch My Little Pony" Facebook page. No matter what side you stand on on the events of the season finale, I think we can all agree on what he says.
Season three was like a haphazard dinner at a restaurant. You have a decent appetizer, then a scrumptious entrée, followed by an awful desert.
1 & 2. The Crystal Empire: Part one gave the season a great start. There were layers of great characterization amongst the Mane Six, notably Twilight Sparkle and Spike. The backstory of both King Sombra and the kingdom were also convincing, despite being brief. Its most notable drawbacks, however, were twofold (both in part 2):
King Sombra's char
So, I've been thinking. I say that I like Apple Family Reunion a lot, but I've never really said why I liked it before, have I? And, well, part of it is just that I like Applejack a whole lot, and this episode had a whole lot of Applejack. But, seeking more rational answers, I decided to review my third favorite episode in the entire series.

First, even without any subtext, this is a solid episode. It has g
Season three has come and gone with Magical Mystery Cure. Initially, I said the episode was good, but its major pacing problems was why it was really weak. I rewatched it twice, and it's unfortunate to say that this episode is not only easily the weakest finale, but also the fourth out of five clunkers since Apple Family Reunion (even though it's easily the best of the four bad episodes).
Like I did with all of my other reviews, I'll display the strengths first.

So I watched the season 3 finale the infamous Twilight alicorn episode and I wanted to like it I really truly did as I have said before Twilight Sparkle is now tied with Applejack and Luna for best pony but it was the worst episode of not only this season but the entire series as a whole. While there has been the occasional episode that has disappointed me and the Chrystal Empire two parter is a good example of that largely because of the sad lack of character development for King Sombra who had
Hello everypony!
Even if I didn't get to watch Magical Mystery Cure when I wanted to (hate you too, sleep!) I still loved it more than any previous Season 3 episode. Why was I not pissed about the length, or the Twilicorn, or the ratio of songs to not songs in the ep? Here are a couple (by a couple I mean a ton) of reasons:
1) The pacing.
I seriously expected this episode to feel totally rushed as they tried to put too much story into 22 minutes of screen time, like Keep Calm and Flu
Next Saturday is going to suck. Not only do i have to work the worst time possible(graveyard shift) but there won't be a new MLP:FiM episode.--Not for a while anyways. I never believed in the whole enjoy the small things in life since i only hold onto the negative side of things. Forgive me if this blog is scattered all over the place but i am super tired. When i saw the season finale i was super thrilled and it carried me through my 9 to 5 workday. When i came home and onto the forums it dawned
...and hopefully that title got your attention. *ahem*
Now that you're here, I made a thread that y'all should check out. It's about a game I read about in gameinformer that's supposed to come out next year (hopefully). It's called The Witcher 3 and I'm mostly looking to get more information/thoughts from people that have looked into the game or the first 2 installments of it.
If you haven't heard of it you should totally check it out!
JUST LOOK AT IT.
Well then, this blog will be dedicated to my confessions I have about MLP, here we go:
I have a crush on Rainbow Dash, yes, there I said it, I love her character so much, She is just so adorable!
I didn't like the season 2 finales that much, in my opinion it's just boring, sure the Changelings where pretty cool, the fight was epic, however overall, if none of that happened, it would've been a bland, tasteless episode.
I don't like Shining Armor or Cadence at all.

Well, it was a nice episode, and here's the summary according to my view. The beginning starts off with a shock. 5 of Twilight Sparkle's friends don't have their own cutie marks, their cutie marks were SWAPPED! Then, it was revealed that the spell was from a book of Starswirl the Bearded. He could not get the spell right. Then, Twilight Sparkle thought to make her 5 other friends remember their original destinies. After returning them to their original destinies, she writes her own spell, that r
So i came home today playing a song by Simgretina(brony musician) on my iphone. My mom heard it and i told her about how apparently people are hard for the stallion named Braeburn who was a cousin to Apple Jack. BIG MISTAKE! This is what went down:
Mom: That music your playing sounds like something that would play at a gaybar.
Me: I think you might be right, there are people who like Braeburn ,Appl Jacks cousin.
*proceed to show her a picture of him*
Mom: Oh so we are going into the
Well...this actually wasn't half bad of an episode, the only major problem that I had with it is that I was kind of expecting a little bit more from this episode. I felt that as if it were rushed and had way too many songs in it. I was expecting it to go a little bit more in depth with the storyline rather than treating it like the other episodes. But then again this episode wasn't a two-parter so I had my expectations put way too high. I enjoyed Celestia's singing a lot and I think that it was
So last week it came upon me that I wanted to create a written works site. It's focus would be the MLP:FiM world. So I started to write code for it and soon ( the same day ) canterlotlibrary.com was bought and setup so as it would resolve to my VPS.
A pre-alpha version is currently being hosted ( which is more of a prototype rather than a working copy ) and the utmost basic stuff is there so far.
I took a different path, than what one can be used to, to publishing though. It works like
Alright first off, there are spoilers in this blog, so if you haven't seen the episode please do not read after this.
-------->Okay so about this episode.....it was umm kind of off to me. I do love some parts of the episode, but it seemed a little rushed. The whole "mixed up cutie mark" thing was an interesting idea, but it was resolved so fast it made the whole problem look like a small problem (like getting a stain off your clothes). Now the songs. I only found one song to be a littl
And no, not the song commercial thingy. I'm talking the new spin-off Hasbro announced. It will feature human versions of the Mane 6 and will not interfere with FiM.
What do you guys think of it? I'm honestly trying to be optimistic, and I think it will be pretty cool, considering the rest of the content on the Hub, will be awesome. You?
So...
Hasbro shut down Fighting is Magic, Twilight is an Alicorn, a spin-off show of FiM featuring human versions of the mane-6 is to premiere, S3 is done, people are complaining about all of this, and the fandom is going crazy about all this.
JUST ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE!
As you probably have guessed, this is a blog entry about the last My Little Pony Friendship is Magic episode. If you haven't seen it yet, go watch it here:
The episode started unusually, with a song from Twilight who ironically sings about the greatness of the day and how nothing is wrong. Of course, as cartoon reality tells us, we all know that there's something coming her way. And soon after we are told that the Element's destinies are being switched. Aaand, Twilight then goes on about
After watching the new episode, I realized that the Twilicorn rumor was real. I didn't like Twilicorn to begin with. Why? Because I'm a human, to which most humans don't like change. OCD and anxiety don't help that either.
However, I had a realization that put lots of my worries to rest. Twilight didn't change mentally, just physically. She still LOVES her friends (she pretty much kept saying that every 5 seconds after becoming an alicorn) She's still the same science-loving adorkable pony,
