False. 12/21/12 is commonly heard as the "Apocalypse" but is actually "Alpacalypse" the day when the Alpacas launch their master plan to take over the earth.

The only disaster on that day will be a lack of common sense and rationality.

If anything, it'll be the end of Facebook! Because I know that it's going to freaking blow up!

funniest part of this is the part where the callender just flips over and restarts and the world doesn't actualy end...

It shall be very amusing for both sides. If nothing happens, those of us who didn't go super crazy about it will laugh at those who did and say "We told ya so a gazillion billion trillion times!"

If those saying it's the end of the world are right, they'll have a few seconds or minutes to smugly gloat about it before we all die.

Of course, many people have got the phrase wrong. Its supposed to be "The world as we know it shall end." which could mean just about damn hell anything.
