This post is to let you know that the staff at the MLP Forums are always working to make sure that this place is a safe, comfortable location for those who just want a slice of wholesomeness. Like coming home to your favorite comfort food after a long, hard day. A place where kindness reigns supreme, where you can let your guard down, and where you can find plenty of trustworthy friends without even trying. And that goes DOUBLE for the staff! We're not just enforcers. We care about what's best for our users and this community. Whenever you're in need, you can always rely on the staff. But sad as it is to say, there are those who don't appreciate the wholesome atmosphere we're trying to create and maintain. Some people take for granted how nice it is here, and when they don't get what they want, they try to tear it down and ruin it for others. When in doubt, seek out the staff. I'd like to take a moment to address matters related to any user that has been banned from this platform. We're not just creating and enforcing rules here. As stated before, we're trying to create a safe and wholesome community where anyone can feel welcome. Which leads me to this very vital point... If a user has been banned from the MLP Forums, please trust that the staff has VERY valid & well documented reasons for doing so. Therefore, anyone who was banned was a danger to the safety of this community and its users. However, humble and shameless don't usually go together. Those who get called out seldomly have the ability to accept the truth and admit when they've done wrong. Instead, they flock to social media, messaging apps, and other forums to try and twist the narrative. They try to make themselves look like victims with half-truths and convenient stories, pretending to be your friend, all while trying to make the staff here look like bullies and monsters. Projection at its finest. And we don't mind being held to a higher standard, as our users deserve it, but we don't like when liars try to prey on innocent users with their narratives and crazy schemes. We might not be able to control everything that happens outside of this forum, but we are here for you beyond these forum pages. So if you should encounter someone on Discord, Social media, or some other location trying to bring you into their fold against us... If you should have fears, hesitations, or superstitions about who is trying to contact you; feel absolutely free to reach out to us, the staff. We have moderators and admins that know who is worth your trust and who isn't. We can speak up on behalf of sweethearts, but we can also tell you when to avoid the trouble-makers. Please, don't ever feel like you can't reach out to us for the things that happen outside this forum. You can, because we're here for you. We'll protect your safety, everywhere. At the end of the day, this place is for ponies, friendship, and fun. We want to make it safe for everyone to enjoy all those things, especially those who need and appreciate it. That's what a community should be; a shared sense of safety for everyone. No worldly issues to get in the way of what we love, just fun and understanding. Take me, for example~! I'd love to be the hero that everpony can depend on, and if going above and beyond to keep this forum and its users safe is the best way to do so, then consider it morphin time for me! We trust the community to report Guideline violations and other disruptions, but we also want all of you to trust us for more. We want to be you friends and confidants, because we are always keeping a look out on your behalf. If you're not sure who to trust, let us be the guiding voice of reason that you need. Even if you're not sure which staff member to reach out to first, don't worry about it! Hello everyone. I'm sorry about my english, but it's not my native language. I joined this webside on 2021 because my real life best friend Jesse Terrence asked me to and because i was an out of fandom brony for some years at the time. Well, now i'm here with a heavy heart after a long time of absence to bring the news that my best friend, who's real life name was Miguel Angel Hernandez has passed away on May 1st 2025. The accident that took his life was a fire on his house, his parents made it out alive on delicate condition, but Jesse decided to go back inside to try to rescue his beloved animals, they were over 30 bunnies, 3 pigeons, 1 husky dog and a cat. He only managed to rescue some of them until he went back inside and never came back again. I'm telling this because i want everyone to know that he died as a hero to his animals, which he loved with his life, and he gave his life for them. I hope at least one person on this forum who knew him and considered him a friend reads this. And i am sorry you had to find out this way about his departure from this world. I will try to come back to read your comments and will anwer all messages regarding any questions or if you have any message you would like to dedicate to his memory, this will be the right place to do it. I will forever miss you Miguel, Jesse, you genuinely taught me about the true value of friendship... i wish i had told you how important you were for me while i had the time.

Henlo poniessss! I kept getting asked where I was as of late. Well, I did say I was going on vacation. But then after the traveling around, adventures and vacations... well... I was hit with old projects that I had neglected that have brought back a bright spark of light into my heart. Back in 2024 on the day of my forumversary, I made a blog post mentioning how I needed to step down due to some life changes. I got so many messages from forum friends and people wanting me to stay, so I did. And I do not regret it because a lot of wonderful memories were made and really cool people to chill with. Announcement: TL:DR; Act I - People will be free to celebrate their family/friend-based holidays on MLPForums without being harassed or aggressively taunted about political matters to the public. Act: II - The second part is me making it theatrical since I'm used to people wanting exactly that whenever a change is made. :v Remember, guys: No politics are to be forced on the public face of the forums! On this day 15 years ago, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic premiered. I can’t believe it was that long ago, but I decided to make a drawing to celebrate this milestone! With Pinkie and her 15 anniversary balloons, she’ll be celebrating in her own way.

A little bit ... um... how do I even explain this feeling? Hopeful? Confused. But giddy? Something beautiful coming out of a disaster as the bad things fall away and the beautiful simply reforms itself into something more powerful... yes. This is alchemy! I may need to make a post about this, sometime! *knocks on wood* It's good to be loyal to the good. To those of you feeling down, please hang in there. I know life can look like an ugly disaster. It's a work in progress. It really is. There is so much that I would like to say... but... I have to keep silent. I have to keep confidence and privacy. But I am seeing several of you post some... not so pleasant things and ... If only you knew how much you had in common. How much you are not alone in those feelings.. even if you're 100% convinced that you are... please hang in there.. please... I was feeling not so well a few days, either... a tad bit resentful of some changes to come, in fact... but no.. those feelings fall away and something better replaces them if you keep your chin up and keep moving forward. The ephemeral leaves and the true stand firm. If I could send even a little bit of this light out to those of you in need, I would. In fact, I am. I truly truly wish you the best.

Hi everypony! I was inspired by @Street Light blog about friendship that I read today and decided to write my story about how I realized that friendship is important. Here's my story: I used to be like Twilight back then, I was a recluse, never talked to anyone and was not friends. I thought that I shouldn't make friends with anyone, because I thought that many people are evil. I thought so because of the bullying at school, but I knew that there were good people and still I didn't want to be friends with anyone. In my penultimate and final year of school, I started doing workout and self-development and the bullying stopped, I even bega

Celebration is not always condemnation. Likewise, creation is not always something else's destruction. On this forum, we give users the freedom to celebrate national holidays of their countries, such as America's 4th of July celebration. For many, this celebration marks the birth and creation of their country; their day of independence and freedom. While it has the potential, it is not inherently political by nature. Any political reasons that created this holiday happened centuries ago. We are far removed from the political issues that happened & were settled long ago; and only a small few make this celebration about modern political issues. Most do not. For most, it is a mundane celebration. Eat food, watch fireworks, dress in the colors of the flag, etc. Those who choose to make it political are few and far in-between, and many of those who do probably only do so in a casual/passive way. It's hardly ever a lengthy discussion about government, international issues, disrespecting other countries, or other such matters. In short, a holiday like this is about creation and open celebration. It is NOT inherently about politics, destruction, nor the condemnation of other countries. It can potentially be turned into that, but by nature, that is not the focus. Now let's contrast this against something else, such as image of a specific country's flag being burned. This is an act of destruction, and when it involves a flag representing a country, the act itself is inherently political. Continuing from the previous example, should a casual passerby see someone else burning the American flag, their immediate thought and reaction is most likely going to be "Oh, they're making an anti-American statement." The same is usually true if you burn any flag representing any other country. It is embedded in our collective associations. To my knowledge, there is a lack of national family-friendly holidays that involve burning any kind of flag for the fun of it in most countries. While the imagery can be used for a nonpolitical reason, it becomes all the more important to keep that reason in-context. You wouldn't run up to people saying "Die!" and expect them to automatically know that you want them to tie-dye a shirt or show them your dice collection, would you? You can argue that the burning of a flag is not a political message, but you can't stop people from automatically assuming a political message was intended. It is a visible act of destruction, condemnation, and rebellion. It takes a lot of convincing to say otherwise. Now obviously, everyone is different. Many people have wildly different associations. Many people cannot help but see the political side to stuff that only has a political suggestion. Some cannot help but focus on these things, while most others aren't. We have nothing against this, but as we have made it clear in the past, political discussions have a time and place. We have created a space for it, a club known as Twilight's Soapbox. It's an opt-in section of the forum that is not public. We ask people to keep their political statements there; which we made absolutely clear in the Guidelines. We have asked people to refrain from publicly posting stuff that have a strong, automatically political association with little room for nonpolitical interpretation. We have allowed many discussions in the open part of the forum, but the staff has always been vigilant. Should a discussion start getting too political, we have not hesitated in making sure it gets redirected to the Soapbox, and we continuously encourage our users to do the same. There is no room for ignorance on these issues. In summary, we have a designated area for political discussions and statements. Making these statements outside of Twilight's Soapbox is nothing short of an action that violates our Guidelines, and ignorance of these Guidelines is no excuse. Everyone has the right to believe whatever they want, but everyone must follow the Guidelines of this forum if they wish to stay here. No amount of political thoughts or feelings makes anyone exempt from the Guidelines. At the end of the day, let's focus on celebration and fun! This is a pony forum of friendship that is all about embracing diverse friendships despite any differences. It is okay to disagree but it is not okay to encourage political discourse on a fun gathering or discussion where politics were not intended. Here at MLP Forums, we the staff have protected many groups and users from inflammatory content, and that included political discourse over celebrations and discussions not meant to be political in nature. Those who make it about politics, especially in a hateful or derogatory way, will be subject to the same warnings and punishments as everyone else. Hate speech is not protected here, but genuine discussions are allowed within the proper areas of the this forum. We only ask that our users learn the layout of the forum and to practice self-control and good disassociation skills, so as not to accidentally post in the wrong area nor turn innocent discussions into something completely different. The staff makes allowances for people still learning how to navigate this forum; we understand when they accidentally post in the wrong section. Likewise, the staff knows the difference between someone accidentally posting in the wrong section, vs. someone knowingly posting in the wrong section for the sake of provocation. No single group of users is superior to another. No innocent celebrations should be turned into anything more then that just because of one user's beliefs. While the staff is human and always doing their best to learn and improve, users of this forum are still subject to obeying the Guidelines and being personally responsible for their own behavior. Those who chose not practice their own self-control for whatever reason, political or otherwise, are actively engaging in aggressive behavior and therefore are subject to the same warnings and punishments as anyone else. We wholehearted apologize if you felt your reports were ignored. We do our best to investigate the intention of all actions, even if they do not outwardly align. It is all for the sake of making a safe, welcoming environment for all users. Rest assured that the staff's commitment to this is unwavering and absolute. Friendship is magic, as it should always be.

Grateful, humble, happy. I just came out of two and a half weeks of difficult health problems and I’m grateful and happy to be on the other side of that. I’m also feeling humbled by what I learned from the perspective it gave me. Thank God I’m better now and for the learning process it was on many levels.

I’ve come to realize that people feel very strongly about OCs and ponysonas So! I thought I’d ask for some feedback on my ponysona. I’m not sure what qualifies as “good” when it comes to designing. I tried sticking to a color palette similar to the show while still embodying myself. The cutie mark doesn’t have much significance aside from the fact that it matches the coat and… I like nature? Please be brutally honest if this looks bad! I’m not easily offended, I promise!

I have seen so many friendships bloom on this platform since 2014. The quality kind. It's always so gratifying to witness and so I am heavily protective of something new, with that potential, falling apart with the newer folk. I see friendships from different walks of life, different countries, different political or religious views... and .. it has been so fascinating to me. Just like in the MLP-fim show. They did not have to be 100% the same in order to mindlessly agree and be called "friends." It was the genuine bond that they had. I write sometimes, though I don't have a lot of confidence in my work tbh. I'm always looking for recommendations, be it fanfic, shows, games, music, I love seeing new stuff! I play video games, though I'm considered a cozy gamer lol. Skyrim is a major comfort game for me, I also play Animal Crossing, Splatoon, Harvest Moon, Mario, and Pokemon.
