Well, keep in mind that fashion is a passion for Rarity! I don't think it's so much that the others dislike getting dressed up as much as it is they have other things on their mind/plate. Rarity seems incredibly enthusiastic because it's pretty much not only a passion of hers but a job/business in a sense. The others have different goals and interests that they may consider more important. Aside from that, Rarity does tend to be just a bit extra with clothing! The rest of the group may like getting dressed up and looking nice if only on special ocassion but in their own style, not Rarity's! And as it's often Rarity being the one to have or help them dress up, they may initially show some discomfort due to Rarity more often than not applying some of her own tastes into what she makes for them. It's as if a typical tomboy type were pushed to wear a dress and felt/looked uncomfortable in it. They could very well love to dress up but in their own way and with their own style! It might not be that they dislike the idea of dressing up, they may just dislike the idea of wearing dresses. This is just my thoughts on this though. Hope this made some level of sense! ♥ -
