Oh jeez, I got a YouTube series devoted to this kind of stuff. Well, I got quite a few of these. In Japanese versions of Pokemon Red, a default name for your character is "Satoshi", and a default name for your rival is "Shigeru", as a reference to Pokemon creator Satoshi Tajiri and Nintendo bigshot Shigeru Miyamoto. Microsoft and Nintendo tried to work together to create a Halo game for the DS. It failed miserably. The Spy in TF2 is based on a glitch from the original Team Fortress where players would occasionally appear as if they were on the opposite team. Kid Icarus: Uprising mistakenly depicts Medusa and Pandora as goddesses. They were merely a monster and a human, respectively. Due to the dissolution of Clover Studios, practically any reference made to them in Okami had to be removed from the Wii and PS3 versions. As such, the PS2 version is the only one with proper credits. In Batman: Arkham Origins, you can play as Adam West. Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi are all voiced by the same person: Charles Martinet. He also voiced Paarthurnax from Skyrim. I have much, much more. I'll be back later.

My native language is English ('Murica), and I'm somewhat fluent in French. I've been taught Spanish, but due to my complete lack of interest in the language, I pretty much completely forgot it. I plan to finish my studies in French, then take up German and maybe Japanese. It depends on how cluttered my head gets.

The energy on this one! I find it pretty impressive. Anyway, short little update. Started the next attempt, and it's going... decently so far. Nothing to speak of yet, but I remain hopeful.

This is a bit hard for me to pin down. On the whole, they're both about the best parents I could ask for. They've kept my life pretty entertaining and enjoyable for as long as I can remember, and are generally pretty nice. Recently, though, they've started to refuse the idea that they can be wrong. It's gotten to the point where any defense I try to make is instantly seen as pointless backtalk, and I can't even say anything without getting drowned out by dad's endless waves of "shut up". I realize that they've got more experience at life than I do, but at least have the common courtesy to let me speak. Likewise, they can never seem to leave me alone for longer than 17 minutes (barring the middle of the night [most of the time]) and they've been doing increasingly less of the things that the house needs to function. I mean, I have my jobs and they have theirs. There's rarely issues with that aspect, but I don't see what's so hard about getting up and throwing something away yourself. Especially when I'm 3 rooms away and in the middle of something. So, assuming that 1 is low, I'm putting them both at 3. They have their moments, but are on the whole pretty good about these things. My nitpicks are admittedly small, and while I do find them annoying, they're not really much of anything.
