    I remember during my Senior year of High School, the day came where we finally had to put our old dog down. I was very sad as I watched the vet do it but I also felt guilty because I wasn't crying. I just felt empty. I had to go to school straight after and I also remember bursting into tears in the middle of first period. It was like some weird delayed reaction.
