      I think that she's the same age as the mane 6 but then again, we don't exactly know the ages of the mane 6 either. Maybe they're around 18~21 as most of the mane 6 has adult responsibilities.

      From her first appearance I always assumed she was older. She even sounds older if you ask me. 

      But throughout season 6-7 it seems like she’s the same age. It doesnt really matter tbh. But it was my head canon that that’s why Starlight was able to keep up with Twilight she’s had more years to practice magic fighting magic.
