  1. The main issue with the whole alicorn thing is that I have no idea how they'll be able to tie that in well with the confirmed 4th season. I trust the writers, but I think the princess upgrade is a bad move on Hasbro's part. Granted, it would make an exellent FINAL episode, because really, she's quite qualified for the position (if a bit impulsive) but I can't see the shpw going on if she's a princess in Canterlot and whatnot. Or Ponyville. I definitely think we should've had more seasons before this happened, but hey, we'll just have to see what happens in S4 because it's way too early to complain! I speculate that this coronation/whatever won't make Twilight an alicorn through S4, rather perhaps be a prediction of her future destiny, and S4+ will continue as normal, though with the knowledge that she'll be Princess someday. If they go that route, that's actually a pretty decent conclusion for FiM as a series. Though, I hope it doesn't end anytime soon!
  2. Hmm. Well let's see. Interesting thread, let's see what I can come up with. > Sonic Rainboom makes me tear up every time I watch it > Flitter is mai waifu > I think Derpy and Dr Whooves are obsessed over just a liiiiittle too much within the fandom > Hurricane Fluttershy was so much the best episode that it made my entire YEAR happy, it's that amazing > I like Lightning Dust, and tolerate Trixie > I have never actively disliked an episode. Ever. Even Meriwether Williams episodes, which people seem to dislike. > Twilicorn does not rustle my jimmies at all.
  3. I'm not to the point where withdrawal causes problems - but I've been pony-obsessed for far longer than I'm usually obsessed with things (2 years this May) so it's safe to assume my affinity for the show continues to grow. My studies in meteorology keep me busy when I'm not at work so I have other interests, but safe to say, the plushies are definitely staying on the bed and merch is definitely getting bought haha. I will say though, the show helps a lot with depression and general unhappiness - I have other outlets, but ponies are VERY effective at smoothing the ruts in the road of life!
  4. My whole room glows pink even from a distance. Plushies cover the bed. I wear a Rainbow Dash necklace everywhere I go, and a Fluttershy shirt to amusement parks. All my social media account avatars are pony-related. I don't think I could possibly get any more open!
  5. ...but it turns out I had yet to do so. I've never posted here, so I do suppose I am quite new! Better late than never, eh? HI. LET'S BE FRIENDS.
  6. Aye, the response was largely negative amongst those I most frequently talk poni with; I don't know if I'm just easy to please or what, but I was the only one among us who thoroughlly enjoyed the two-parter (though not as much as the Discord and Chrysalis arcs). The songs weren't quite as good as the ones in the S2 closer, but the episodes were extremely foreboding and rather dark for a Y show - and as such I was glued to my proverbial seat through the episodes! It's perhaps the most 'serious' arc yet. Not bad at all.
  7. I admit I'm a little concerned with the direction of the show, despite never before being really upset by anything they've done. I do, though, trust the FiM crew, as they've never disappointed me! So I trust they'll make whatever happens awesome. My stance on the situation?
  8. This is excellent news. I would be a lot more excited about the news if we hadn't seen evidence of executive meddling in the last while... however, I've yet to be disappointed in the FiM crew even once, and I trust that no matter what Hasbro puts on them, they'll be able to work it into something awesome! I eagerly await more news on S4 and perhaps some synopsis tidbits to see what we'll be expecting. Hopefully, the same patchwork of adventure, slice-of-life, and comedy that we're so used to. Gonna be lookin' forward to it!
