  1. is it sad, that the first thing that popped in my mind, when reading the title of this thread, was:
  2. I thought her name was Pauline...Daisy was the "damsel in distress" from Mario Land though.
  3. /raises hand sadly I remember that show...>.< what do you think of Kari, Grant and Tori leaving the show, and said show "returning to it's roots"? I was quite saddened to hear, that they were gone. looney toons did a DVD release some time ago...on it, there were various animated shorts, that were suppose to be their version of commericals. one of which, was a spoof of a law firm ad, called "Duck, Duck, McKinnson and Duck." that had to be the best work I've seen of LT in ages...shame I can't find it anywhere, and even more so, that they don't do that type of hilariaty anymore.
  4. yeah...shame that they had to ruin a perfectly good show like that. honestly, they should've left it, at one season, instead of branching off into different sagas...had it been around the time, Survivor was big, I think it may've stood a chance...but now? Ugh... #shudder I STILL cannot get past that damn bikespeeder part, in Stage 3...even with cheat codes, it's still extremely difficult to bypass. I haven't played it in ages, and even with an emulator, it's a nightmare to get past. Sylvester Stalone mentioned this...talked about being drunk, watching Teletubbies in the middle of the night, and he's like "Man...I am wasted." xP Ugh, even the movies themselves were horrible. Ice Age was another, cause it was beyond historically inaccurate...

I personally didn't like how they built up to the match. No real hype or anything. Lesnar wasn't built up, to be seen as a credible threat to the Streak...so when he DID beat Taker at WM, it was a shock to everyone...if people bet money on Lesnar, they probably pocketed some nice change from that match. And from what I've heard, word got out, that Lesnar stood a good chance at ending the Streak...it wasn't REALLY considered a spoiler...but WWE tried to keep the matches outcome under wraps. The matches outcome, is usually booked well in advance, with changes made at the last second, every so often. (I.E. WM's ME was suppose to be just Batista and Orton, while Punk fought Triple H, and Bryan faces Shaemus...unfortunely with Punk walking out, they had to change the matches around.) Everyone in the WWE pretty much knows who's gonna win what match, when the time comes...but Taker and Lesnar's match, was a (somewhat) closely guarded secret, that even Triple H didn't know...and he's the COO of the company...and from the looks of things, even the Ref and Paul Heyman were left in the dark too...only Lesnar, Taker and Vince knew how the match would end. I liked his match from WM 28 myself...though Taker wanted to fight Lesnar at WM 27...Lesnar was still with the UFC, and it was originally planned, to have them fight in an interpromotional match...but they couldn't decide if it should be a scripted style match (WWE), or a "let them go at it" match (UFC), and because they never could come to a decision, they had Taker face Triple H. As for why, Taker and Lesnar didn't fight at WM 29, I think, it's because Lesnar, was still under a limited appearance contract at the time...so once he reached his limit, he was forced to take leave until the following year. Now that he's ended the Streak, I think he's expected to make more appearances, and be billed as a Full Time wrestler. As much, as I'd love to see, two of the biggest names in pro wrestling fight...I do agree that Taker didn't look too well at WM 30...and I think, they may let him retire...but if he's willing to fight one final match against Sting...then I say, give him time to heal, and rest up...build up a decent storyline...maybe have both guys retire in the end, induct them into the HoF next year, and boom.

it's been rumored, that Sting signed a deal with them...but it was a one-match deal...then he retires. he was at a convention of sorts, this past Sunday, near the Superdome, so it was rumored, that he could make an appearance either at WM, or Raw the night after...but he didn't. he told the people in attendance, his favorite number, was "31"...whether that is his fav number...or a hint...considering WM 31, is in Cal next year...Sting's home state...it could be possible...but until he actually shows up, on WWE programing, we won't know for sure.

well, Sting was a no show, and neither was Taker...then again, I shouldn't be surprised on the latter...if he was taken to a hospital, it's likely he'll be gone for a while at least...and Sting? it was rumored, that he was signing up with the WWE...but perhaps, due to Taker's injury, they've put his debut on hold, until then...it would make sense, if they want Taker and Sting to work a storyline together really.

sleep well gentle prince...we will always remember your ability to make us laugh... for those unfamillar with Pinette's work, check out his work on youtube...be advised, that some clips, may have explicit language...but he is truly hilarious. some of my favs are "Chinese Buffet", "Waterparks" and his skits, from his "Still Hungry" tour.

that was actually talked about. he could be midway through his retirement speech...when Sting appears to challenge him, to one final match...doesn't have to necessarly be at WM 31...it could be at a later date...depends on how well rested Taker is, and when they feel a good time, to have the match would be...WM is just an obivious choice, since it's the biggest PPV the WWE has to offer, in it's 12 month schedule...only thing really close to it, is their seasonal events, (I.E. Summerslam, Survivor Series, and Royal Rumble) Batista coming back...I think it was bad timing...but more so, because he won the Rumble...when he should've earned the title shot the old fashion way...but again, I don't think he even cares, if the fans cheer for him or not.

I may just watch the post Wrestlemania Raw...since that's usually the one, live fans troll the most...and also, to see if there's any amount of truth, to the Sting rumors flying about...other than that...there's an empty void now...but from what I've read...this was Mark Calloway's (A.K.A. The Undertaker) decision. It wasn't Vince who said Lesnar will win. It wasn't Triple H...nor Heyman...(though he was scripted as saying Lesnar was gonna win...but then again, he's Lesnar's manager...so nautrally he's gonna vouch for his guy.) Taker wouldn't put a guy over at WM, unless he knew that guy, had what it takes to help take things, to the next level...and while his decision, is one to be respected...it's not something, many are happy about, let alone agree with. :| Still, he's had an outstanding career in the WWE...and it's likely he's got one or two more matches to do, before he officially retires...one of which, could very well be hinted at, tonight on Raw.

I'm thinking the exact same thing...and the only people that know that answer, are Taker, Lesnar and possibly Vince...unless Heyman knows something...but unless he's a REALLY skilled actor, he wasn't aware of the outcome either.

yeah, that match could've ended better really...here's to hoping the rumored "rematch" will be better. which is why, if they ever do one, they need to make it as original as possible. maybe have him take 6 months off, so the fanbase genually misses him...then perhaps have him do a heel turn, upon his return.

if they have Cena do a heel turn, they need to make it memorable...something that'll be talked about, for years to come. not that it'll ever happen...but we didn't think Hogan would do a heel turn, but he did.

I watched WM 30...personally I thought it was quite worth the $70 price tag on PPV HD...Taker's match with Lesnar wasn't the best...the buildup was IMO...awful. They could've done SO much more...they could've made us anticipate the match...made it personal for both Taker and Lesnar...but to have Lesnar end the Streak...I'm still...thunderstruck...I'm just...at a loss for words. :| The only thing, that could've helped boost the mood, was for Daniel Bryan to win the title(s)...and seeing him clock Triple H with the sledge hammer was pure gold...he fought with the tenacity of a true champion...striking Batista with the Flying Knee, then applying the Yes Lock, with Orton outside the ring...then a miracle happened...Batista tapped out. D'Bry had achieved his goal...he defeated the Authority on the grandest stage of them all. I know, the Shield's match ended quite quickly...but I think, it's because D'bry and Trips went a bit into overtime, and they had to hurry the next match along, to get Cena and Wyatt out...of which I'm not really surprised they let him win...though it was good, to see Cena's aggressive side come out for once...least we know, that despite being the "boyscout" of the WWE, and the little kids "Super Hero", he's STILL got that dark, sadistic side deep down inside him. honestly I think, everyone had that same reaction. :| Undertaker deserved the standing ovation that he got...but the question remains...what now? I don't know, if he should be at Wrestlemania 31 next year or not...since the Streak is done...there doesn't appear to be mucb reason now...course he can still face Sting...but with the Streak gone, they may as well start a storyline up, for Summer Slam or something.
  15. it's like people whining about the Lion King having the word "Sex" in the movie, and how the movie needed to be banned from all video stores. for starters, there was NO word like it, in the movie, and secondly, only those few people that felt it was their birth given right to whine and complain about the smallest of things, that claimed to have seen the word in question. so far, this nut job is the only person, to claim Frozen is teeming with same sex relationships, and incest themes. I say, ship the nut jobs to the most distant planet, as far away from Earth as possible...some of these people seriously need to use that amazing organ in their heads, that Albert Einstein calls a Brain. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻) oh...sorry about that. ┬┬ ¯\_(ツ)
  16. looks like WM's main event is STILL gonna be Borton versus Bootista after all. :| well, maybe after 70k+ turn on the event, they'll listen...but I doubt it. I've lost the remaining amount of faith in them. I truly thought, they'd set things right...guess I was wrong. edit: unless, they're holding out on CM Punk's return for Wrestlemania...if Bryan somehow, someway gets into the main event, Punk's surprise return distracts Borton or Bootista, allowing Bryan to pick up the win, WM closes with 80k plus chanting "YES! YES! YES!", and Punk sticks it to the Authority in the ultimate way possible. but as I said previously...my faith in the WWE's storyline writing is broken...nothing short, of a miracle can restore it now.
  17. well, it's not 100% confirmed...but there's a new rumored that surfaced early today, that CM Punk could very well return tonight, and be included in the main event at WM 30. from what I've read, this was done up over the weekend...many have said, that if Punk is to return, it needs to be in Chicago on March 3rd...if he doesn't, it could end up being an absolute disaster...but no more so, than Wrestlemania in 5 weeks...but this needs to happen tonight. Not tomorrow...not a week from now...T-O-N-I-G-H-T! and if it doesn't...you could have a massive fan revolt...and Wrestlemania may not go over well with the fans. edit: and having Heyman come out, and rile the fans up, is probably not the best way to start the show, but hey, if they want it to be an absolute disaster, that's their choice.
  18. ...wait...Disney's Frozen promotes...homosexuality?! are people seriously that thick headed? :| I mean, they whined about The Little Mermaid...they complained about Aladdin...then it was Lion King...though they even moaned about Alice in Wonderland too...nearly every Disney movie in existence has been deemed "evil" in some way...is this because it's founder was a supporter of a certain "political group" from WWII or something?
  19. Del Rio is retiring soon, Christian is rumored to be thinking of leaving, and with Punk already gone, I wouldn't blame Daniel Bryan for leaving either. I mean, Botchamania as it stands, looks to be an absolute disaster of a PPV, and I'm glad I changed my mind about ordering it...all because they refuse to give D-Bry a chance...all because they couldn't let Punk highlight WM at least once.
  20. he's suppose to face Lesnar at WM...not sure, if he's physically able to contend with him though...but there's a rumor, that Undertaker won't lose at WM, until he's ready to retire...I'd rather he retire undefeated really, but that's me. yeah, she was GM of Smackdown, got fired, and several months later becomes GM of Raw, got fired, and 2 weeks afterwards becomes GM of Smackdown AGAIN...I mean, what the hell was the point of all that? o_o well...Vince was doing everything he could, to get Punk back...but it's up to Punk to decide if he wants to return or not...as for what they're gonna do, they've got one guy, who is WAY over with the fans. I'd say give him the title, but it's already promised to Batista, as per his contract. (winning the Rumble, over a few others who deserved it more was just the first part.) but knowing the WWE, they'll somehow, someway find a way to put Cena into the main event at Extreme Rules, and have him beat Batista. As for Bryan, he's slatted to face Triple H and lose at WM...though that may change. he may still get involved in the main event...and closing WM with 70k+ chanting "YES! YES! YES!" would be THE best way, to close out the 30th anniversary of WM...but again, there's the "promise" to Batista. we'll know, after Elimination Chamber, how it's gonna pan out...now if Bryan DOES indeed face triple H, with the stipulation, that IF he wins, he'll be included in the main event title match against Orton and Batista...Punk could make an appearance (or return) to screw Hunter over, costing him the match...or he could distract Orton at EC, giving Bryan the victory, and go into WM as the champion. that would be a great way to stick it to the man as it were.
  21. not sure, if this is the reason behind it or not, but Punk was scheduled to fight Triple H at Wrestlemania 30, but was also slated to lose to him too...that may've been the straw that broke the camel's back, especially when it was stated facing Triple H at WM, is as big an honor, as highlighting it, for the title, or facing Undertaker there. now Bryan may be facing Triple H, but is also rumored to be losing the match as well...I don't know about you guys, but I don't think that'll go over with the fans at all...especially when he wasn't even involved in the Rumble match last month. :|
  22. and the thing is, we can chant this all we want, but the WWE will not listen. they believe we want to see Cena highlight every PPV. they believe we want to see him fight insurmountable odds, and win the title again and again and again, and again, preventing anyone else from ever stepping foot in the spotlight. I may very well boycott WWE programing from here on out...alot of people swore they'd do this, if Bryan doesn't get the recognition he deserves, but some of those people are puppets...obedient sheep, that do as they're told. these people, despite hating seeing Cena highlight every PPV from Jan through Dec, boast about how they'll stop watching WWE programing and that they can do it anytime they want. WWE has more or less told us to "put up, or shut up", by ensuring somehow, someway...Super Cena highlights Wrestlemania for the 7th year in a row...I'm a man of my word...but the WWE has one chance. if Bryan wins at EC then fine. If Orton or Cena wins? Forget it.
  23. ugh, sorry...meant to say turned me off the game entirely. it's been a rough day for me. not really feeling positive at the moment. :|
  24. neither do I...Ziggler was right. The WWE picks one guy (John Cena) as the face of the company...and that's who they're sticking with. as it stands, Bryan will never win the title, never highlight Wrestlemania, and never become a top face in the company, so long as the "Let's go Cena" chants, precedes the "Cena sucks" chants. even guys like Swagger, and Cesaro don't have a chance of ever amounting to anything in the business...long as "Super Cena" is in the company. they're better off leaving the WWE, and going to Ring of Honor or something. (I'd say TNA, but it looks like they're not fairing too well either)
  25. if it wasn't for the reaction commands in KH II, I'd be more than willing to get it...but that turned me off the series so badly, especially what they did with Atlantica...turning it into a song/dance thing was just...ugh.
