  1. Geico Caveman FTW! also, I never saw Harlem Shake...but I've seen Gangam Style...my first opinion of it was: , but the beat to it, was like I never did understand the lyrics, but it's quite catchy...and the fact, that it's got Belibers in an uproar, because PSY appears to be more popular than Bieber (then again, a jar of mayo's more popular than him. XD), makes it that much more better.
  2. anyone else play this game? it's quite fun, and addictive. but you can also add people, and visit their versions of Springfield...my tag is dk2400, if anyone's interested though.
  3. ...wow, .50? that's not a bad deal. ...I'm craving a bag of Skittles for some reason.
  4. one of my fav tracks, has to be this: I saw the final battle from Guns of the Patriots, and this theme actually plays during that fight...though it's partway. another one is this: this plays in the Debriefing of MGS4.
  5. Thunderlane ain't getting out of this one without a trip to ICU, I can tell you that much. I probably would...if she causes any problems, I'd probably just ignore them, since everyone else can't see or hear it...and if they ask, I can just tell them, it's ghosts. is it odd...that I read that in Bane's voice?
  6. sorry if this is in the wrong spot...but does anyone know if this game is still working, and if I actually do have to buy the g-mod program, just to download the game itself?
  7. there's alot of programming on these days, that's just beyond horrible...I'm almost afraid, to see the 2013 fall lineup now. I don't feel it's necessary either...a show, where the son gets blamed for everything, that goes wrong, and the sister and her cat are the "pure hearted angels" I mean, come on...seriously? ...don't think I've ever heard of that show before...but judging from it's name, I'm guessing it's not that great at all...there's another live action show, with a muppet...don't know what it's called, but it's got a laugh track on it...nuff said. the remakes tend to be really terrible too...especially transformers...they never should've remade it multiple times...I mean GI Joe was remade once, and I don't think, it ever got off the ground at all...then there's Beast Wars, which for some reason was called Beasties in Canada.
  8. well, here are my predictions for Extreme Rules airing this Sunday... Chris Jericho vs. (w) Fandango Team Hell No vs. Reigns and Rollins (w-New World Tag Team Champions) Randy Orton (w) vs. Big Show Sheamus vs. (w) Mark Henry Triple H vs. Brock Lesnar (w) Kofi Kingston vs. Dean Ambrose (w-New United States Champion) Alberto Del Rio (w) vs. Jack Swagger John Cena (w) vs. Ryback Paul Heyman reveals his newest client...something tells me, it's gonna be Ryback. edit: Curtis Axel...must be Curt Hennings son.
  9. Earthbound has some amazing tracks too...if you ever get the chance, check them out either on youtube, or google starman.net, as they've got the tracks there too. Mega Man...there was one theme I liked...think it was from Mega Man III, when you beat a boss, and got it's powers...the theme that played was pretty cool.
  10. I feel the same way about the Simpsons and Family Guy now. I saw a clip on youtube, of the Simpsons, where Burns was running for State Governor...he asked about the artists painting of him saying "Why are my teeth showing like that?" His agent said "That's because you're smiling." "Oh" Burns simply responded. We didn't laugh so much back then, but 20 years afterwards, it becomes one of the funniest things ever. Now though? Their idea of funny, is something happening, but never happened at all. Ex: the Simpsons being banned from Springfield forever, only to come back 20 minutes later, and everyone pretends they never banned them in the first place. Family Guy though is a bit different...Peter often used to say random stuff from time to time. When Brian worked for the Police as their drug sniffing dog, Lois asked how his day was. He goes into this rant of sorts, and after he's done, they all look at him, wide eyed, while Peter simply looks at Chris after a few seconds of awkward silence and says "You know, what I haven't had in a while? Big League Chew." I find, they don't do the random stuff so much anymore...now, it's more of seeing who they can offended, without getting pulled off the air again...plus make the show look extra good, because everyone's into "High Definition" these days. Other cartoons are just as guilty. They don't care about the storyline, or the characters. They don't care about what happens within 21-41 minutes of airtime...they only care about how the show looks...I mean, is that all the networks and some viewers care about, is "eye candy" these days? Back in the 80's Gi-Joe had PSA's at the end of every episode, teaching kids valuable life lessons and morals...are they afraid that kids will stop watching their precious "eye candy" if they have to listen to something "educational" in their programing now?
  11. no offense, but the fact, that's it's based off San Andreas it's not gonna be that big of a deal, to most of it's fanbase. SA was huge, because those that grew up in the mid 90's loved the style of it...sadly enough, they were also not old enough to play it, but still did anyway...and parents blamed Rockstar for making the game, their kids played in the first place. Alot of us were pretty stoked about GTA V, until word got out, that it was tied to San Andreas, and it's not something I'll be looking forward to...I wouldn't be surprised if out of 150 copies, we sell 20 within the first 6 months of it's launch. Look at Max Payne 3...media reports it was the top selling game of 2012...we sold maybe around 20-30 copies...out of 200...and that was within 6 months of it's launch. The problem being, is that Rockstar is aiming for the younger generation of gamers, instead of the more mature generation, that GTA, Max Payne, Farcry and other M rated games are supposed to be geared for...but as they say, "money talks" and the fact that some parents let their kids play these games, only to turn around and blame the gaming industry, when their kids end up copying what they see in said video games, instead of raising them, and teaching them right from wrong is just sad. I've played GTA over the years...and I know the difference between right and wrong. I haven't played anything beyond SA however, as I've stated I didn't care much for it...over over excessive use of "F'bombs" being one reason...albeit the main, and I guess the other being, that it's turning into a simulator style game...again I apologize if this offends anyone, in any way, shape or form...just my two cents on the matter at hand.
  12. hearing this, makes me want to play Kingdom Hearts again...but the first one, rather than the 2nd...nothing against it...I just found the Reaction Commands to be a pain to do sometimes.
  13. here's a trippy theme from Earthbound I've found the sound tracks to Wrath of the Lich King and Mists of Pandaria to be really awesome...and it's hard to choose which one to highlight, but I find this one is really good.
  14. alot of tracks from Chrono Cross was awesome...even LoZ's OoT had some good tracks. hearing the old Pokemon music, makes me want to play the original games, for old times sake...but here's a few more I wanted to post, but couldn't for some reason. "Faithful retainer to his family's liege, with the courage and strength of a thousand men..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FiLWZzeA3cY "He owes allegiance to no one, and will do anything for money. He comes and goes like the wind..." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epprdUVbyos and it still won't let me upload the 3rd one...odd.
  15. here's one from Paper Mario 64. One of the coolest boss themes I've heard in a while really. and of course, this classic from Chrono Trigger http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXBvYRH8yrs I've got a few more, but I'll wait to post them, since I can only have two youtube links per post...and don't want to double post here either.
  16. this is something I came across, and it's actually quite true. the only programs that say this, that I'm aware of is Mythbusters and pro wrestling. probably because there are some people who love playing the "monkey see, monkey do" game on a 24 hour basis.
  17. no worse, than Jack Thompson blaming Grand Theft Auto for it. or the media blaming World of Warcraft for the Colorado Incident. But truth is, they blame music, because they WANT someone to blame. they don't care if they nail the guilty party, or someone who's totally innocent in the aspect...they pin the blame on one person, and they stick to their guns...even if evidence comes forward that shows that person was never involved in the incident in any way, shape or form, the media will still blame that person no matter what. same goes for music...some rap artists these days have been singing about drugs, sex, violence and using degrading terms all across the board, but when someone actually goes out, and does these things (of which, their parents should've had more to do, with raising their kids, instead of letting technology "raise" them ), the media will blame the music or gaming industries...whichever they feel is better. sometimes I wonder, if they've got a dart board, with various terms on it...they then, blindfold themselves, and throw a dart, and wherever it lands, that's who they'll blame for the latest tragedy.
  18. therein, is the other thing. people share their opinions, and often get blasted by the so-called "fans" of music. take justin beiber and one direction for example. critizing their music, or the performers themselves, is considered a "cardinal rule" or "1 of the 7 Deadly Sins" to their fans. Beiber has been getting into trouble as of late, and many say, his career is nearly done now...one time, a jazz musician won the grammy for "Best New Artist" a few years back...don't quite remember her name, but I know, it was difficult to pronounce, and the instrument she played was a bit odd to pronounce too...something I don't think, many are familiar with...but the "Belibers" took to her profile on wikipedia, and trashed it 5 ways from Ponyville. Started spreading lies and rumors, and saying nasty stuff about her. Then you look at Selena Gomez...when word got out, that she kissed Beiber, she got death threats from his fans...honest to god, DEATH. THREATS. They started verbally attacking her online, saying things I dare not even repeat here...is this what music is doing to some fans? Turning them, into savages, that go feral, at the snap of a finger, when their "idol" comes under attack of any kind?
  19. that's just it really...most hip hop artists rap about drugs, alcohol, sex and such...then you've got artists that throw racial slurs around, like it's just common language...people like Nikki Manji, who raps about anything really...even tampons. people say, she doesn't have the looks, or the voice talent, but she's still huge, and that makes people wonder if her fans are tone deaf, or something.
  20. yeah, I remember Snow Day...showing how kids "fought" against the Plowtruck drivers, for trying to clear the roads, and make it safer for everyone else. they did have some pretty funny stuff back in the day, but now, everything seems to be "fart jokes, or nothing" with them. :| someone mentioned earlier, about how cartoons are pretty tame, compared to what they had back then...this is true. I mean, look at Ren and Stimpy for example. they did quite a few things, that were questionable to say the least. though I don't think they were created by Nickelodeon...think it was Spumco. the same guys, that did Ripping Friends.
  21. yeah, the new Spy Kids movie, is a prime example. I read somewhere, that every single sentence had the word "time" in it, the dog talked in fart jokes, and the cards you got from the theater, that you scratched and sniffed during pivotal moments in the film, smelled beyond horrible. (they were suppose to resemble fart smells, because apparently the producers of the film, were obsessed with fart jokes)
  22. oh wait...was this an RP character test? cause I did it, based on my character from the Tangled fanfic I did up... read somewhere, that this test isn't really accurate either, but I wouldn't take it too seriously. mine said I've got one hell of a mary-sue...didn't realize that was considered a bad" thing really. I thought "Bah...walk a mile in his shoes, and you'll understand the full story. :P"
  23. got a 63. Über-Sue. You've got one hell of a Mary-Sue on your hands here, and it's not going to be easy to set things right. But do your best. There may be hope for you yet. not bad really.
  24. probably taking time off. next time we see him, hopefully he'll be a face again. yeah, crowds these days have been pretty terrible. I mean the one in NJ was electric...the one in New Orleans for Elimination Chamber was just...monotonous to say the least...and this is where they want to hold Wrestlemania 30 next year? not sure, if they were thinking straight about this one. there's also little respect for wrestlers of the 90's too...remember when Roadd Dogg made his return appearance? people hardly cheered, let alone clapped for him. very little reaction from the fans for a veteran like him. yet bring out the "kid's hero" John Cena, and you get a moderate reaction. mixed cheers and boos...mostly boos though...I mean, Cena's a great wrestler, don't get me wrong...I respect him for what he does...but his gimmick has been going on for 8 years now...we know, he doesn't give up without a fight, we know, he won't back down from a challenge, but to play this each and every week for 8 years straight and expect the same fan reaction they had back then? Cena is this generations Hulk Hogan, but this ain't the 80's...people don't have much paitence for things anymore. If they wanted a good reaction, they could have Cena do a heel turn, to rival that of Hogan's, when he teamed up with Keven Nash and Scott Hall, to form the NWO. I still remember how much trash was thrown into the ring during that skit...now THAT was a reaction from the fans.
  25. PS3 would probably be the safer bet. for starters a simple 160GB system, (stand alone with hook ups and controllers) is around $198(?) 360 4GB system is $199, but you'd have to buy an external hard drive to store the extra games and such...and that'll cost another $100 roughly...though I heard, you can use USB flash drives as a subsitute. WiiU, is around $249, the standard system has 8GB of space, whereas the deluxe version has 32GB, and that's an additional $50 for the upgrade...so it's not too bad really. But the end result, is entirely up to you. Though second hands are cheaper, you may feel better saving up for a brand new system itself. The game itself, will probably cost around $10-$15, so it won't be too expensive.
