Lily Love

Hello! Welcome to the Forum! i hope you have a wonderful time here.

I have always loved the sound of Pianos, Ocarinas, and Violins. They all just sound so gorgeous to me~ I can only play the Piano and Ocarina though. Out of curiosity, how do everypony here learn how to play a new song on their instrument of choice? I can't read music so I have been learning by ear for years.

At work it does since there are two other people with my name, but a different spelling. I tend to let it slide though. I have had someone spell my last name wrong even though I spelled it for them. That takes "skill". I DESPISE when someone can't pronounce my name. It just makes me sad.

I have to tell you I have this EXACT phobia to this extent, but I have found something that distracts myself through it. I sing. Out loud. ((For me it's Mary had a little lamb in Japanese, but whatever you want is fine)) and it's usually done before the song is over and it doesn't hurt me as much due to being distracted. By Celestia I had this as a kid too! I loved it to pieces I think it's in the cellar somewhere. (Now I wanna go look!) I used to put my Pokemon figures in it and make up all sorts of adventures of the Pokemon knights and stuff like that. (Sorta like Pokemon Mystery dungeon I guess). I would put water Pokemon in the moat and have flying pokes in the tower keeps. those were the days. Now I wanna find this thing and my figures and play with it again! Pokemon toys, Tamagachi, Furby, hey, this whole thread brought back a giant nostalgia trip. thank you ; u ;

I once made what I called a "Cherry Blossom Cake". It was basically a vanilla cake with chopped cherries and cherry juice mixed in. (It even had cherry juice mixed into the icing!) all I can say it was the thickest, most filling, and undoubtedly the best tasting cake I have ever made. I should try making it again.

I like both! Cats can be great company when you are alone and sad and I had one that was literally my best friend when I was a child. ((Rest well Moonie )) But dogs are also very loyal and extraordinary company. So it's very hard to choose between them.

I have done volunteer work before and given money to those I pass that are without it, but I think the kindest thing I have done happened about a year ago. ((Story time everypony!)) I was at work one winter's night (I think it was sometime in late January-Early February) when a table of 4 sits in the section next to mine. (I work in the dining room of an Assisted living) One of the ladies there had on one of those medical masks because she had a terrible cold. After a while, she asked to be moved away from her table to make sure no one became sick. She was sat in my section, in the corner booth, all alone. I saw her and asked her how she was feeling and she explained. I offered to get her some Orange juice since I knew the Vitamin C would help her cold go away faster. She smiled at me and said that would be nice. I made sure she got a new glass when she finished it and talked to her the entire night checking to see how she was feeling and to generally just give her some company. She just said thank you when she left because I had become busy. About a month later as I enter the staff parking lot for a picnic event when a woman calls me over. It was the woman I had served that night. She told me how thoughtful I was that day and that the Orange juice had helped her recover two days after I saw her! I smiled and told her that I was happy to help and asked her how she was feeling now. She said she was feeling great and was drinking lots of Orange Juice. I wanted to cry because I felt so happy. ; u ; Long post is long. Sorry

@Zygen: Hello there! And yes! Lily Love is my OC/Ponysona! Thank you for liking her design~ She went through quite a few revisions before I finally found something I truly loved. I'm sure I shall really like it here (Though I find it a tad sad there are not more AppleJack and Rarity smiles, especially since Rarity is one of my favorites) Edit: Also, I'm A muffin now! <(Hooray!)
