So Apparently back in 2018, Jenna Blake and Peter New hosted their own 'panel' called 'Tubcon' where they basically turned a panel room into an open bar.
It went as well as you'd think.

The first three day con was the sci-fi world con in 1939. One of the artistic dipictions that survived was of the long line out the door.
Some things haven't changed in 86 years.
