    Hey hey everpony. Joined MLP Forum earlier today. Been around other pony forums for a while. (This one seems to have over 9000 times the traffic of Equestria Forums though Anyhow everything that is interesting about me is in my sig link/profile description so I'll leave the details for now. Anyone been watching digibronyMLP's bronycon 2013 vlog videos (I'm a closet brony IRL/know no RL bronies so I find it a pretty interesting series). - parts 2 and 3 are up on his YT channel I've posted part one below Well I'm going to sleep now.     I found my response to fandom drama luke warm. I don't follow faust or Tara Strong, and found EQ to be rather meh. The Twilicorn debacle is something that techincally never got a resolution so there isn't much point in getting upset over it. Twilight either is or isn't going to remain in the current form for S4. I think it could go either way at this point. There have been so many dramas and I like to give my 2 bits in all of them, but at the end of the day I've always been a fan but never a 'brony' for the simple fact I have no bronies I know IRL

    Yeah I'm not liking the little groups the fandom is fracturing into, I don't expect people to agree on everything but the way the fandom is segregated is disappointing. And the drama can range from anything to sad to kind of funny depending on how trivial, but I hope things cool off when S4 comes out

    Is the fandom divided? Not something I can answer in a single post, something that needs a lot of discussion I think. I'll get the ball rolling with my overly depressing take on things. The R34, the terrible (yet praised) fan-fic the militant attitudes of some, and the downright creepiness of what I will call 'elite' bronies be it popular musicians/youtubers whatever the people who form a tight nit community within the brony community itself and then set there own rules. Just spend some time on YouTube and elsewhere eventually you'll see what I mean. I can deal with all that. What russles my jimmies however is the increasingly fractured state of the brony community. Forming into sub-groups based on drama and ultimately leading many to become simply more interested in being part of a 'counter-culture' than being a fan of what they are in the fandom for in the first place. Twilicorn, equestria girls. And the one that russled my jimmies was actually the brony documentary. 300,000 dollars to be part of and excuse my language here but there is no other way to express this: a massive circle jerk of the community in a completely biased and sycophant fashion, that has caused me to lose respect for everyone involved in production as well as some of the brony community. I have avoided all fan bases since Pokemon generation one when I was still a nieve kid myself. The utopia of the fandom has either been lost or it was never there in the first place. I sometimes wonder if having found the show in total isolation of the fandom would have been better. Perhaps there is hope. To me the finding of the show itself merely a year ago was a small light in a very dark world. Well now that I've cheered everyone up. I'll end this post

    In essence people didn't care what you where into back then, gay, straight, bi, transsexual, transvestite no big deal, it should be that way now, I'm pretty standard in the fact that I'm only attracted to women but wouldn't see it as a big deal if that ever changed.

    The church married two men for hundreds of years and there was no label put on that. As far as Zoophillia goes I couldn't say but I doubt it has increased, there where sections in the bible regarding people having sex with animals Ie Leviticus so it's always been part of society and probably always one that was on the fringes.

    I am relatively happy. But that includes self medicating with alcohol to deal with stress, and I stress out a lot. So I remain optimistic but my god do I just need a drink sometimes...

    It ought not to be implied as anything. We didn't have labels for sexuality 150 years ago. I don't find men attractive but find women attractive but don't think I should have to state that as fact because sexuality is something that is dynamic in the same way people's psychology is ever changing in response to there life as it unfolds.

    I played a game called 'CladunX2' review somewhere on my YT channel in sig if interested. The game itself was released in 2011 or later but had a beautiful retro RPG charm both in graphics and sound, the gameplay was also in the spirit of an old dungeon style Japanese RPG but had slightly smoother animations and party options. I'd consider it true to retro though. Never played FTL myself. I like modern games as well as older games, but haven't found anything that caught my interest all that since Mass Effect 2 and Fallout New Vegas on the current gen. I have no desire to get a next generation console at this time as I don't see any truly innovative games right now. Just my 2 bits

    I like a lot of old games I like to study there history, and there are some like Pokemon Red/Blue, Half Life, Deus Ex etc that are just so much better than what you can get today, even if my nostalgia glasses remain on ^^ I typed out the most epic response to this post but lost it due to drunkenness and unfamiliarity with MLPForum's layout but basically this video sums up why old games where better in terms of influence, innovation, creativity originality and above all fun.     Silent Hill 4. Loved the first 3 games even if I found them insanely hard because I can't solve puzzles SH4 though the pacing the combat, the way it doesn't have the SH atmosphere, it felt like twice the clunkiness of previous SH games without the payoff ie the atmosphere, the soundtrack, the character's dialogue and the art design felt cold to me. I know SH4 was never intended to be a Silent Hill game during development and I'm not saying that is the reason for disliking it just fyi, the above reasons is why I couldn't get into it.

    This ^^ It's a look at the history of the Rise of the Triad franchise, both the original 1994 game and the current 2013 game as well as a look at the game developers.

    I like primarily games from the 'golden age of pc gaming' from early 1990's to early 2000's. Such games as Doom, Half Life, Deus Ex, Unreal Tournament, and Age of Mythology. I also like Silent Hill 1, 2 & 3. Currently I'm trying to get into Japanese Role Playing Games, I recently bought Persona 3 FES but haven't yet played it ^^ I host a video series on YouTube about the history of video games It's a documentary series where I look at the video games that changed the World and the people who made them.

I like to learn and I like retro video games and I like to learn about retro video games so Gamer Twilight fit nicely I hope you enjoy my channel there are some very in depth video game documentaries on there.     Gamer Twilight here. I'm new to the MLP Forum but have been around other pony forums for some time. I'm really just looking for somewhere to hang out and chat to other bronies more than to talk about the show itself. So first off can anyone direct me to a chit chat thread or something I'm kind of a noob ^^ Secondly allow me to introduce myself I host the Video Game History' Show on YouTube the show itself is a documentary series looking at exploring the games that changed the World and the people who made them. Needless to say I'm very passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to retro video games So if there is a retro gaming thread here too that would be awesooommme. Hoping to have fun meeting you all ^^
