  1. Well, taking in account humans have no wings or magic, but a great intelligence and a capacity of creating and/or improving gadgets I would describe their relationship toward different types of ponies from my standard point: - Relation with Earth ponies: Close relation The earth ponies could feel themselves very identified with humans in many senses. - Relation with Pegasi: Stable relation This would be a relationship based only in respect and tolerance, for pegasi could feel certain superiority on humans about the flying issue. - Relation with Unicorns: Strained relation The human machinery is good enough to vying with unicorns' magic. Then, it could be a mistrusting relationship. - Relation with Alicorns: Really strained relation. The four alicorns could feel certain suspiciousness and mistrust on humans, possibly, getting to the point of mutual hate. We can say this occurs some time after analyzing human behaviour or before analyzing it. Whichever comes first. Now, are you agree with this? If you're not, then you can make your own list describing the relationship of different types of ponies toward humans.
  2. Well, if we see in the calendar, only eight days left for the release of MLP Season 4. After months of waiting and now knowing the release date, how do you feel?
  3. No, you've misunderstood. I'm not trying to propose the idea of brony culture as a religion (Maybe you're the one who want that, I don't know). I'm not talking here about fandom, Hasbro, nor anything of the stuff you mentioned. I'm just putting a scenario in which how "your favorite pony" would interpret the term globalization by hearing it at the first time, nothing more, nothing less. Please, read quite well the questions before answering them; and I'm not saying this with intentions of bothering you.
  4. All of us know that the process globalization is one of the cornerstones of our future. Some people agree with it, others don't. It can improve the organization of global business, the knowledge of other cultures, the cooperation among environmental organizations, and so-on. But also it has its darker side acting as an accelerator of violence (Well, actually it doesn't end here, for there are more criticisms against it; but I consider this one the main defect). And as everything in this world, it's something complex. Now, supposing that a human mentions at your favorite pony (whichever she/he is) the word globalization for the very first time without any previous explanation, how do you think your favorite would interpret a term like this? If you want, you can expose whether you agree or disagree with globalization.
  5. According to your perspective: - What name should receive the planet where Equestria is established? - Would you say this planet is bigger/smaller than Earth? Or does it have the same size than our planet? - Is it possible, at least for you, that this planet has more flora than Earth? - Do you consider its chemical composition in atmosphere is quite different from Earth?
  6. It's obvious that we could contribute the Equestrian society in many ways, from technological to social aspects. But I was wondering: How could ponies help to our world? What kind of things could they contribute to us?
  7. If we imagine an environment where ponies cohabit with a few humans (maybe 3 or 5), the idea of discrimination may or not pass through our minds. Therefore, some ponies could feel the impulse of discriminate these humans using awkward nicknames or using another type of derision; and I say this because every society has its own defects (even the Equestrian society, and we can see it in certain episodes). So, despite the fear of ponies toward humans, is it possible that some ponies try to defend the humans? What pony you'd imagine defending them? What kind of arguments would they use for defending them? Also, what pony you consider could be in the side of the discriminators?
  8. Many of us remember how we met with the series, we also know what are our favorite songs and character as well. But are few the people that share the why he/she loves MLP Friendship is Magic (At least what I've seen thus far). So, what is/are the main reason(s) you like this series?
  9. If we remember the S01E09 "Bridle Gossip" episode, Pinky Pie composed a song about Zecora. Here the lyrics: She's an evil enchantress She does evil dances And if you look deep in her eyes She'll put you in trances Then what will she do? She'll mix up an evil brew Then she'll gobble you up In a big tasty stew Soooo... Watch out! Now, supposing the new visitors are a peer of humans with some technology on their hands, how would be the lyrics for a Pinkie song about them? If you're good with songs (or if you wish to be), then let your creativity inspire you and share your own lyrics. You can use the structure of the song above as a sort of auxiliary guide, if you please.
  10. You're right. Misanthropy comes from greek and means "hate at humanity"; Philanthropy comes from greek as well and means "love of humanity".
  11. Since I met the MLP universe I've found many different thinkings related or not with the series. One of those topics is the standpoint of many people about humanity and I've found many misanthropic opinions about it. Some of them saying we're parasites, monsters, violent, evil and stuff like that. I barely have found philanthropic bronies/pegasisters that really believe in mankind. Sometimes, I've found points of view that demonize human race and sanctify ponykind, even ignoring that between ponies there are detestable and heartless ones; King Sombra and, partly, Sunset Shimmer are examples of that. At other times, I've found optimistic standpoints about human nature and even some of them stated that ponies and humans beings could perfectly coexist. Don't get me wrong, I know humans are not perfect, nor saints, but that doesn't mean we're pure evil and destruction. If you want to know my standpoint humans are such complex creatures to immediately classify them as evil or good. I don't know if after seeing the MLP series the misanthropic sense of certain type of people increased by 10, maybe I can be wrong. Does being a brony/pegasister implies to abhor humankind just for not being like ponies? I don't want to bother anybody with this, but to discuss and debate about it. I repeat it, I just want to debate, nothing more, nothing less. So, do you consider yourself a misanthropist or a philanthropist? Why?
  12. According to these: http://www.futuretimeline.net/21stcentury/2025.htm#verticalfarms http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2nFQOkzEjxQ Vertical farms could solve many problems related to food and its allocation. It presents itself as an alternative for the traditional farm agriculture system. Supposing the inhabitants of Appleloosa or the AppleJack's family hear about this idea after a human visit to Equestria and bearing in mind that this idea isn't an attempt to expropiate earth ponies from their farms (as we could see in "The super speedy cider squeezy 6000" episode) but to improve their performance. Do you think ponies could accept this human invention? Or would they continue with the traditional method? You can also add your own standpoint.
  13. In the episode "A Canterlot Wedding- Part 2" after the moment Queen Chrysalis exposes her true form she says: "Equestria has more love than any place I've ever encountered". Taking this account we can conclude changeligs are emotions parasites. Maybe I can be wrong for saying this, but changelings seem to enjoy being like that since their queen states that she and her subjects have previously invaded other kingdoms. So, can we say changelings have a culture based in war and destruction of lives of others? Or do they do that out of necessity?
  14. Based in this: http://www.futuretimeline.net/21stcentury/2050-2059.htm#designer-babies I was thinking that maybe the fact of designing the perfect son/daughter could be something possible and real instead of mere fiction or fantasy. Let's suppose this: A group of human scientists expose the idea of creating babies from an artificial uterus (a machine) to the princesses and to another present ponies. Next, they say to ponies that the inhabitants of Equestria could create their own "perfect stallion" or the "perfect mare" according their respective point of view and have an easier life choosing the foal's/filly's talent. Do you think the ponies would accept the idea of creating babies inside a machine? Or would the ponies see that idea as a monstruosity and an atrocity against the life itself? How would your favorite pony react before that idea? You can add your own standpoint about the idea if you want.
  15. What do you think? If Hasbro decides, in a near or far future, to create the G5 of MLP, should this one be an exact sequel of Friendship is Magic (G4) with the same characters, thematic and story? Or should it have a different weft with another topics?
  16. In the month of terror both terror stories and creepypastas are welcome. But let's just focus in creepypastas Let's suppose it's Nightmare Night, one in which ponies and humans are having fun together, and you are one of the people present there. If you were called to the scenario to tell a creepypasta, what would you consider the most terrorific one for telling? What creepypasta would you consider the most appropriate for scaring ponies for days or even weeks?
  17. Considering the series has impacted in the Japanese market and that, in fact, many mangas have been written with MLP characters, something passed through my head: How would everybody receive an anime version of MLP Friendship is Magic? I'm not talking about the images that we can found in the web, I'm just talking about if an anime version of this TV series could be a great idea or, on the contrary, it could be the worst way to ruin the series. So, what do you think? If that ever happens, how would you feel?
  18. Greetings, how's everybody today?

      @Metal Sonic

I'm fine, but a bit tired.

      Thanks for asking.

  19. We could say that English is known as the Equestrian language, and French is known as "fancy language" (as we could appreciate in "The Cutie Pox" episode). So, I was thinking: How would ponies name other human languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, or others if they hear them? If you want, you can answer from the point of view of your favorite pony choosing one of the languages above-mentioned or another language of your choice. Also, you can answer like this: "I think (your favorite pony whoever he/she is) would name (the language you chose) like...." or something like that. You can be creative in your answer, but realistic at the same time.
  20. It's obvious that many of us would like to be friends of ponies if it was possible. But, would ponies accept humans as their friends? Or their friendships would be exclusive only for other ponies? Spike is a dragon and friend of the Mane 6, the only exception considering ponies dislike the rest of the dragons or they just have fear of them. So, despite our defects and appearance, would the ponies like to have a human friend or not? Would friendly ponies like Pinky Pie consider us like their friends? For this, I need you to consider only the ponies' point of view about what is friendship for them. You can even answer from the point of your favorite pony explaining why if you consider it necessary. No matter if it is a princess, a filly, a background pony, a mare or whatever. And please don't add things like: "until we destroy and kill them" because that's not the point of this question.
  21. Putting aside NightMare Moon, Discord, Chrysalis, King Sombra and Sunset Shimmer. How would be the perfect villian for the series? What kind of personality would he/she have? You can be imaginative if you want.
  22. Celestia and Luna have lived for centuries, we practically can say they're immortal. Since princess Cadence appeared at first time in the series, and since Twilight became an alicorn I've been wondering: Could both of them be immortal or are they only going to live for centuries, but not for a millennia? I mean: they are alicorns, but they don't perform an important task such as control Sun or Moon. So, is the simple fact of being an alicorn a guarantee for immortality or it is only an exception for Celestia and Luna? What do you think?
  23. I think humans could be very useful for Equestria, but how useful can they be? Despite lacking of magic or wings, human beings can do things that both pegasi and unicorns do and further thanks to science and technology (With which we practically do certain "magic"). So, what kind of role could humans have in Equestria?: Politicians? Protectors of ponies? Assistants of princesses? What?
  24. Yes, I know in the first episode of series, specifically in the introduction, it was mentioned the word "kingdom". But considering the ones who govern Equestria are princesses, I've coming to consider that Equestria is a princedom just like Andorra, Monaco or Liechtenstein in our world. If it was a kingdom the royal title would be king/queen, but we've got prince/princess in this case. It could be, maybe, really small the territory that conforms Equestria with a median population making it an easy place to manage. Therefore, it would be another type of princedom without parliament or constitution. Are you agree or disagree?
  25. Remembering the last three seasons of the series, and the Equestrian Girls movie if it's necessary, what things would compose the Equestrian society's worldview? Quote episodes if you wish for complementing your assertion.
