  1. Yeah, I'm going to be really busy over the next few days and I knew that I wouldn't have time to throw this together closer to Christmas; as it stands I barely had sufficient time as it is!
  2. I found another thread where someone had embedded SoundCloud and quoted them to check. It's [ media ](link)[ /media ]
  3. It's kind of rushed, not very well edited, and my whistles weren't reacting too well to the fluctuating weather (one of them is wooden, so little things like that affect it) But I hope that you all enjoy all the same! HAPPY CHRISTMAS/Hearth's Warming Day MLP FORUMS!!! https://soundcloud.com/silverquill-1/hearths-warming-medley https://soundcloud.com/silverquill-1/un-flambeau-jeanette-isabella Performed with an Irish 'D' tin whistle and a wooden 'B' whistle. 5. Oh, and everything was going oh so swimmingly.... well back to the drawing board. Anyone know how to describe the process of dividing by zero effectively?

Simple. Take the hypotanuse of a right triangle divided by two when the opposite and adjasent are product of pi cubed. Then take the hypotaneus and apply it to the equation of H/pi cubed multiped by x/0. Then you will have a legit answer for dividing by zero.

Sir, you are a genius. I don't care if that is really a valid equation or not, I am definitely using that!

  6. For me it tends to be determined by the circumstances whether I am quick to engage in a conversation or not. With individuals at the library where I work or who may be interested in the things that I am (such as reading, MLP, video games, etc...) I can rather comfortably start conversing with them. However, most of the time I do have trouble, especially around people the same age as me. I couldn't say why, but I am always worried about what kind of impression I give in an initial conversation... I guess it's just the bit of Fluttershy in me, haha! While I may not be shy, per se, I am incredibly introverted, and the fact that I have problems with anxiety doesn't help things much.
  7. We need to write an adaptation of A Christmas Carol themed around Hearth's Warming Eve... it needs to happen... Anyone want to collaborate with me?

Actually I think that you will find that Archimedes was the mastermind behind Pi.

I didn't say Pi, I said PI. A difference in the letters as you can spot!

  8. Sadly, I am not MLP-Silver-Quill. Although I am acquainted with him! It was a complete coincidence that our OCs are named the same thing and, on top of that, we were both planning analysis videos. He beat me to the punch, of course; sadly school has had me tied up, even though I have been planning since late September/early August.
  9. Celestia please... ...oh, and while we're at it: Oh, and was there supposed to be a video in the original post on this topic? If so, I can't seem to see it on my computer...
  10. *phew* Alright, my profile is now back up! It seriously took me an hour to re-write all of that o_O

  11. Yeah, it looks like I am going to have to re-write my entire profile.... bugger.

Oh, well. I've got nothing clever to say.

  12. Wow... so, um, my profile just completely vanished. Wow. I am actually genuinely distraught; I put a lot of work into that bloody thing!

  13. That is... a somewhat disappointing outlook on Deism....
  14. That's fair, haha! I am selective of my go-to sources for analysis, as well! Tommy Oliver (Brony Curious), Dr. Wolf, and occasionally DigiBrony pretty much sum it up for me XD So you're saying that when I start my analysis series on YouTube in January, you won't watch it? Aww, you make me sad
  15. That's quite a thingy thing that you have thinged up, there.
  16. As far as I have seen on YouTube and here and there on the forums, every episode after the premiere (and even the premiere itself, by some critics and "analysts") have been met with a cruelly generous amount of dislike and skepticism. I unfortunately can't pull up anything specific at the time being, but I can say that if you go to Brony Curious or DigiBrony's channels, check out their reviews on the afore said episodes, and take a gander in the comments section, you will most likely see what I am talking about.
  17. As a (self-proclaimed) analyst I say AMEN to that, sir! I cannot agree with your post enough! If I could brohoof your response five hundred times, I would do it five hundred more, just to be the pony who brohoofed one thousand times, then collapsed upon the floor... (sorry, I'm in a weird mood this evening...) Every episode this season has been subject to some pretty intense backlash, I can only wonder how much worse it could possibly get...
  18. Since my OC is essentially the same person as me, I think my own voice would be best (I mean, just listen to this shmexy voice). Although, if I were to, by some miracle, be featured in an episode of MLP, I would probably want my OC to be voiced by either David Tennant (Scottish accent and all) or Benedict Cumberbatch. (I realise that neither of these are voice actors, but I don't know many voice actors off the top of my head...)
  19. While Twilight might be my favourite pony, since she is the one who I identify most with, my second favourite is.... Applejack. She is nearly my favourite pony, in fact. Why? Because of the Mane 6, I perceive Applejack as being the pony who has the most personal depth. While she may seem like a fairly shallow character at face value, through her situation and responsibilities she proves to be both inspiring and, if you take the head canon of her parents being dead (as I do), emotional. She is a pony who has a plethora of responsibility resting on her strong back, and the fact that she carries it all with strength and pride, and at the same time doesn't let it pull her down, is deeply moving and inspiring. She is responsible to her family and her friends, and sacrifices so much to make them all happy, including her own happiness and well-being with her classic Southern stubbornness (if this wasn't Equestria we're talking about here I would try to make some connection to Scottish heritage). I find that I have become more emotionally attached to Applejack than I have to any other pony, and more of my tears (both happy and sad) have been shed over her than anypony else in the show.
  20. I am somewhat new to this forum, but I have noticed that things have been a bit, well, lacking, lately, compared to the way things were when I joined back in August... Personally I thought that it was just me getting too overcome by school to pay as much attention to the situation around here, but now that things are calming down on the school front, I can see that it is a bit beyond that. The blog post by Dsanders recently really did set off the caution lights in my head as well as the general attitude of some of the threads that have been made recently (some negative and "anti-season 4" threads spring to mind in particular...) But I digress. I say to you, sirrah.... Challenge accepted. Let's do this!
  21. Augh! I'm on break at work, otherwise I would watch it! Reading the comment bodes well for it, though, and I am a fan of the Nostalgia Critic; I can't wait to actually see it
  22. So, a non-brony friend of mine gave me an early Christmas gift in the form of a Twilight Sparkle beanie baby... My reaction: /)^3^(\

  23. I am glad that you are enjoying it! I hope to have another chapter up some time over the upcoming Christmas holiday break!
  24. (Yeah, I already made a thread for this, but two things happened. 1) I realised I would be cluttering up the forum if I posted a new topic for each chapter and 2) the forum completely messed up my formatting, so consider this a refresh!) Here is a crossover fan fiction series that I decided to start earlier in the semester as something to keep me occupied in my spare time (or to distract me from school...). I hope that you all enjoy! A Series of Right Rotten Events Chapter the First: A Dreadful Dawn Chapter the Second: Intrusive Introductions I am trying to finish at least one chapter a month, however with other projects taking up my time and attention I can make no guarantees in my consistency! However, I hope that you all enjoy it, all the same!
