    I used to fall into the catagory of "Yes, I like MLP. I know it does not conform with societies ideals of masculinity, therefore I am a minority and should be considered an outcast." Then I saw this video about how the views on what is manly and the swapping of gender rolls throughout the ages in relations to the brony fandum opened my eyes. Yes, we dont conform, but society will realize that we are changing that. Now I am proud. I do understand that somepeople would really rather not know, or they honestly dont care. So I dont announce my interest in the sho unless there is an oppertunity brought up. Such as a "guilty" pleasure or a show that I like and what not. I honestly dont think anyone should be ashamed. We are awesome. Remember that.

    I skimmed the posts... But has it occured she does her "dream" duties while sleeping herself? That is how other ponies enter dreams. I am sure that is a requisite for her to enterthem. One simply does not manifests physically into an abstract environment. So my conclusion is this. She sets the moon in motion. We have only seen them actually needed to raise and set said moon/sun. Maybe they dont actually have to magic it across the sky. If that is the case, then she raises the moon, goes to sleep, does dream stuff, wakes up, moon set.

    Hmmm, I can see that. The eyelids give an aura of arrogance, maybe being cocky. Maybe change them out for a more horzontal one to show one showing the feeling of "meh". Like he is uncaring and just trudging through life. That is more for the pictures you posted. I dont know, maybe he just found a nice cloud. XD Yeah, I like him. Great work. He does not have any mary sue characteristics which is a problem when making OCs. You dont know how many times I have to tell people that Sonic Rainbooms were LITERALLY A MYTH before dash did one, or not everypony can do twilight level magic. You keep it real, I like that... kudos mate. And sorry... by the way... Scootaloo is best CMC

    I decided not to read all the comments, so forgive me if I am a broken record machine. Video games are art, I am sure everyone of our generation can agree. (that phrase right there is key and I will return to that) Graphics dont mean anything. PIcasso gave no care to what looked good. Neither do people of the abstract art realm. Graphics dont mean anything in video games being art. Story means more. Books can be art. Newest and most prime example of a video game story being art, well actually two, Bioshock: Infinite and Skyrim. "But Gale, I understand Infinite, but why Skyrim?" Well, what makes art... well... art? I the simplelist terms I describe art, a medium in which creates deep thoughts and emotions through depection of said piece. Bioshock forces you to looks at the broad picture. What are we? Some cog in a giant clockwork scheme or can we actually make a change? It is a linear story that allows you too have meaningful discussions on our reality. Blah blah philosophy and what not. Skyrim allows you to choose. Your decisions are meaningful and will have consequences. From who will rule this land to having someone call the Dark Brotherhood to kill for stealing a tomatoe. Do you want to help the Alik'r woman escape this squad of people killing her, or turn her into the aristrocrats to have her put to trial. Everything you do sets gears in motion. You get to choose the meaning of your game. Just like one chooses the meaning of art. Think of Bioshock as a this shining example of a warrior. This sculpture is perfect. What does it mean? Is it the true emboidement of perfection or the shameful display of mans obssesiveness to perfection. You decide the meaning. Skyrim is this crazy paint splattered canvas. I don't know what it means. But it means something different to everyone. There is no right or wrong way to depict it. Finally, the comment I make before. The current dominating generations are the ones to decide what is art. If out crazy art was introduced back in the renaissance, they would be stoned. We know that video games are art. It is only a matter of time until the agree generation fades in to make the official dicision.

    Now, the biggest complaint I see here from others is the colors. Honestly, I think the colors are great. Popular colors schemes are getting rather overused and it is nice to see a fresh pony that looks good. (says the colt with the red and gray scheme...) ANYWAYS! I too have to give accolades on the backstory. The whole parents thing might be a little off... for some reason... I cant explain... which is fairly new to me since I am a writer that helps many people create back stories... Yet I love the fact he is not into friends. Most ponies go the whole "super friendly" or "loves making friends". No. You are "loves being alone" and "fights depression". Great. Gives you plenty of room for character developement for, oh I dont know, a story if you so choose to write one. Who knows? A pony from the weather department is noticing that storms seem to be disperssing a little too quickly. Sends a pony to look for a reason why. That pony has trouble making friends, but wants one. What's this? Somepony is collecting the storm clouds. BAM! Character developement oppertunity on making a friend against your will in exchange of your collection being a secret. That was me rambling. Now to the things I think you could change. The spikey teeth and slit pupils. Trying for evil? The tail and hair show untidiness. If that is what you are shooting for, that is great. Just noticed he keeps a neat little collection that I assume he keeps tabs on. He doesn't have to be neat, but that was just a wonder of mine. Bam! Nutshell.... Hope I helped. ^^

    Film major? That is actually a new one for me. For people that really like to dissect a show, I have them watch The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy for the economical and how people are swayed by varying methods of production vs presentation. Film major... Maybe Putting your hoof down. Also gives a macho character to show the comidic value of our show in a more masculine light. Also, it show great character developement and amazing animations: the panning camera in fluttershy's cottage after she ties herself up and Iron Will scuttling across stage.

    Don't worry, I have arrived. There is no more reason to fret. I mean, who isn't excited for the most handsome pegasus to finally get here? Seriously though, I am excited to join a new community. I am very anxious to get to know you all more. Please, feel free to ask me questions, friend me, and/or various other things that you may think of that I fail to bring up. ^^
