    I'm quite booksmart, and test extremely well. I got a 35 on my ACT, and a 2310 on my SAT, which is really high, along with being a 3.87 student in all APs. Although that's not to say that I don't have ditzy, vapid moments sometimes!

    That's just standard procedure for any security clearance. They can never be too careful in handing those things out. If you expect to get one, its full disclosure. I remember when my dad got his Top Secret Clearance. (He worked with a lot of sensitive information at Boeing that dealt with the Air Force) He was rigorously checked, crosschecked, and rechecked on the validity of everything, including family, friends, hobbies, past travels, foreign friends, and so on. @@skylights, Although skylights, I do hope that MLP doesn't hurt your chances of getting clearance... I could very easily see it hurting you in the review process....

      Haha Its true Flutter, if I had snow dumping on my city by the feet consistently, I'd want it gone too! But since I don't, I just want a White Christmas for once. It'd be so cozy, romantic, and picturesque!

    I think I've got a pretty solid handle on how boys work..... Not like they're too complex! Just kidding! But seriously, one thing I don't get, is why are so many guys so closed? With the exception of my current boyfriend, none of my exes or my guy friends ever opened up really. I mean, getting some guys to talk about their feelings is like pulling teeth! I understand that you're going for the "stoic" vibe, but it wouldn't hurt to open up sometimes!

    I know what you mean! I'm 50% Hispanic, 50% Polish, and I'm naturally way bronzer than my sister. Its really weird how much skin tone can vary even within a family.

      I know what you mean Dashie. I feel the same way about Dartmouth. All the Ivies, it doesn't matter how good you are or how well you interview, your chances are slim at best, nonexistent at worst. Good luck though! (:

    I see what OP means by this. I am certainly against the idea of losing your identity in a group, and its true that some hardcore fans of things do that. But I don't think that its a bad thing to talk about your likes and dislikes when describing yourself. Life isn't a college application where you 'use 5 adjectives to describe yourself and your personality'. You can talk about what you like and dislike; its part of what makes you you. Just so long as it doesn't become the only thing that makes you you.

      I did look up some gameplay videos, though, and it loks VERY cool. Truly a quality mod.

    Well, I would completely recommend trying it out! You won't be disappointing! (And the population cap in space battles is 40, not 25, if that makes it more appealing....) Well, we might actually be getting Battlefront 3, and that could take place in the Clone Wars. The Clone Wars are really the only thing I loved about the Prequels, and we didn't get to see enough of them. Although in that 3-D cartoon there were some pretty good Clone Wars sequences...

    Actually, to be honest, I didn't like the expansion pack. The Zann Consortium is way too strong, and their unique weapons are kind of game breakers in my opinion. However, have you played the extremely good mod for EaW, its called "Thrawn's Revenge"? Its almost a whole game in its own right, and it makes a lot of amazing improvements onto an already epic game! You want a continuation? Check out the "Thrawn's Revenge" mod. Its an amazing mod for the game, and all the emphasis on improvement went to space battles! You'd love it!

    That's true, they're obscure to the average fan, but I'm a super fan! I fell in love with the starships in Star Wars when one of my friends convinced me to play Star Wars: Empire at War a long time ago, and I loved the space battles so much! Have you played it?

    Wow! Another Star Wars buff! Do you know the Praetor Mark II-Class Battlecruiser? That's another one of my favorites, but I figured it'd be too obscure to mention.

    So guys, what are everyone's favorite Star Wars ships? They can be fighters, corvettes, frigates, or capital ships. Anything goes, including Extended Universe! My personal favorites Starfighter: X-Wing. No explanation or introduction needed. Corvette: Corellian Corvette. The first ship ever seen in Star Wars ever. Frigate: Nebulon-B Frigate. The iconic Rebellion ship, and the end of the best movie ever, The Empire Strikes Back, ends on a Nebulon-B. Capital Ship: Imperial Star Destroyer, specifically Grand Admiral Thrawn's and later Admiral Pellaeon's, the Chimaera. Special Mention: Super Star Destroyer Lusankya, Director Isard's ultimate weapon. So, how about all you guys?

      You mean those brohoofs? If that's what you're asking about, those are basically our equivalent to Facebook's likes. Basically a way for people to express approval of someone's post without having to comment about it.

      No, not brohoofs SunBurn. I get different updates for those. These notifications say "Your topic 'Has Feminism Gone Too Far?' was approved." They aren't brohoofs, and it doesn't say who 'approved' them.

      My only guess is that a mod may have accidentally removed one of your posts and put it back, but I don't think that should have given you such a notification either. No idea. :\

       

      IBP does some weird things at times. Could have been a fluke.
