I'm getting a little confused with the posts here xD Are you saying that "Yes I agree that I WANT it to last forever, but I know it won't, so I will continue to believe it will" or are you saying "The show will last forever, but I can see how there's a possibility it won't"? Hasbro isn't dumb, but after a few series of this show, interest will start to dry up, which is when Hasbro pull it and move on to G5. The few bronies left who want the show to continue won't be able to provide as much money as the combination of bronies/younger generation who buy the merchandise now.

Fair enough, I'm sure none of us like it but it's just realistic I suppose D: It makes us appreciate the series as it is now though :3 And I somewhat agree to be honest.. Bronies won't abandon the show because of it, and the younger audience would be oblivious to them anyway. I think the show will start running out of ideas eventually though, as there's a lot of ground they can't tread because of the younger audience.

I don't see why you'd have reason to air dislike at that post? I think it's a fair theory.. there's no reason to dislike a theory just because you don't like it xD If you can provide another theory of show progression then be my guest ^^ But thus far, a couple of series IS where the show is heading as a maximum production level. But surely we'd rather have a few good series than a lot of poorer ones?

It's near impossible to make a show go on forever at a consistent level, I defy you to name any TV show which has been on for a good number of years and hasn't been subject of fairly widespread criticism in its later years. The Simpsons and Family Guy spring to mind, although South Park is going okay.. but that's more to do with the fact that their material is based on current events, and news always changes.

Intro Meet up, head to a rented bar, do some games/activities, chat, socialise, meet friends. That's the idea! I just want to see what interest there would be for a Brony Meetup, I could also do with some feedback as to what you would want, if you were to attend. Where? York, United Kingdom. It would be in York as that's where I live. There are a couple of Bronies already living in and around the city as it stands, but York is also in a central location. It's 2 hours from London and Edinburgh, 2 hours 20 from Birmingham and 1 hour 15 from Manchester (all by train). It's a good average journey time from most major cities. As well as this, it is located right at the end of the M1 and in the middle of the A1(M) which provides for great car accessibility. The city itself is rich in history, and from experience, is a very laid back city with tourists at the centre. There will be no trouble here. I've spent a few years fursuiting around the city, as well as working for a ghost walk, handing out leaflets on 7ft stilts dressed in Victorian attire and not once have I had a negative comment/run in with someone. York is a lovely city for this reason, and has won the award of most Beautiful city in Europe numerous times. When? Most likely around May/June, but if there is more popular demand for another time frame then it can be altered at this present time Activities? I would hire out a bar area for our use, which usually means we have an entire floor of a bar to ourselves. The venue would be in walking distance from the station, the station of which would be acting as our meeting point. We'd be able to sit around and converse in the bar for a couple of hours, but I'd also throw in a couple of activities for us to do. There may be the possibility of say, having the group walk down to the city park later in the day for some outdoor activities, possibly with a picnic or something ^^ Depending on how many people turn up, we could have a group say, going to the park, and another group staying in a bar.. just to add some choice. ------ If you're interested then that's great!
