    For me, it's the character I relate to the most. I am shy and quiet by nature, so Fluttershy was my favorite character right from the beginning

    Hey, don't get me wrong, I've always loved Rarity right from the moment she gave Twilight that ridiculously-frantic "emergency" makeover in the pilot episode: And yes, she's always been a beautiful character with an important virtue, right from the beginning: I don't mean that she's a villain or anything, but her non-perfect-ness is damn funny

    Actually, I love all the things that are wrong with Rarity because they're hilarious. It's hilarious how dramatic she is, how vain she is, how she treats other characters like her own servants and so on.

    I really hope not. It's bad enough that the writers can't even get Twilight-being-a-Princess right. It already looks stupid to people that cab-drivers in Manehattan are being indifferent to Twilight in spite of her being an Alicorn-Princess. Oversights like that are gonna really look stupid with all of them being Alicorn-Princesses.

    No, I don't think Rarity's generosity was "being forced" here any more than it was "being forced" in the Suited For Success episode, in which Rarity was being generous with her time and energy.     The rest of the Mane Six already did warm up to him and already were more friendly toward him at the end of the Keep Calm and Flutter On episode. And of course they would be accordingly appreciative if he once again became more contrite and so on. However, this would make Discord a less interesting character.
