    Read the Rarity micro-comic. It's good, but Flax Seed and Wheat Grass got on my nerves for being incompetantly aloof, and Filthy Rich became an antagonist by association. My personal viewpoint: CMC > Pinkie >>> Rarity = Celestia > Rainbow Dash >>> Luna >> Fluttershy.

      I'd really like to take all the writers - show and comics - put them in a room and let them discuss their view on all the characters, until they come to an agreement what can, cannot, should and shouldn't be things that the characters do, are or represent.

      It was... I can't describe it. Weird? Strange? It was definitely not what I expected. Didn't really suit Spike, I think. Funny idea with the sea people, though.

    I actually found the Luna micro-comic to be too random and too reliant on one of Luna's fanon portrayal (which I'm fine with in the FANON, but out of place in the canon). To be simple, I didn't like it at all.

      I think the person who made that statement is probably trying to say that having gay thoughts isn't a choice but acting on them is but the problem is you could just as easily make the same argument for being straight which really makes the whole argument just a pointless double standard anyway.

    Watched Hearth's Warming Eve for the first time in a while today. While I wasn't keen with the initial arguing (although it foreshadowed the end of the play nicely), the rest of it was very well-done.

    As a Thomas fan, the ol' "you're not the audience" shtick is why HiT's writers produce Thomas so badly for nine years. Only this year did the complaints from the older crowd finally succeed and bring people who know how to write good Thomas & Friends stories.
