So, what do you guys prefer to see when it comes to fan content? I know that music and art are some of the most popular stuff, but there's still so much stuff out there from videos, to games.

@Egnis It's pretty much going to be a dumpyard for my mlp drawings. I just abandoned my old one cause I stopped making mlp drawings for so long, and I just recently started with ponies again.

Well, I haven't made a post, or even been on the site for months now. I suppose that means it would be appropriate to start a new thread, as the old one is probably buried in the recesses of the art board by now.

So, I'm finally able to upload pony games again, and I've been uploading more regularly again. I hope I can keep up the pace this time. Of course I can't forget to post my speed arts too.

Hey, I do a very similar process to you and was hoping I could give a bit of advice. One thing I've found is that the angle from which you take the picture can drastically change the way the original sketch looks, which means you should try taking the pictures as close to head-on as possible. Another thing you could do is add shading by goong over areas you would like shaded with black, and then using a gausian blur to smooth it out. Then from there you can turn down the opacity to make it more shadow-like and less solid. I hope this helps in some way.

I think I got the ponies' style down so now I need to work on the backgrounds.

Still working on the digital art style. I tried something a bit different with the shading on this one. It's a lot sharper, but it should also be more precise.

Okay, I think I've gotten my stuff to where it looks about average, but I hope I can get some advise on how to make it legitimately good. Here's a couple of different ones, and feel free to tear them apart. I can't get better if I never learn what's wrong. -
